The Supreme Court ruled President Joe Biden can't wipe away or reduce student loans held by millions of Americans.
In a 6-3 decision, the high court's conservative justices agreed with the suing states that the HEROES Act does not authorize Biden's debt forgiveness plan.
At issue was whether the administration had authority to broadly cancel federal student loans because of the COVID-19 emergency.
Loan payments that have been on hold since the start of the coronavirus pandemic three years ago are supposed to resume no later than this summer. Without the loan relief promised by the Biden plan, the administration’s top Supreme Court lawyer said, “delinquencies and defaults will surge.”
Wow. They're gonna have to wake him up early for a second straight day and pump him up so that he can stroll out and issue another slam against the Court. "...not a normal court" yesterday, wonder what he'll call it today?

More great news from this court. Requiring following the Constitution, what a return to sanity.
The Executive Branch does not and never has had the 'power of the purse', that is the exclusive power for the Legislative Branch, AND all funding bills must originate in the House.

Let the universities pay it off. This whole thing is a money laundering scheme to pass riches to leftist indoctrination centers and their people, who then pass it back to the dims.

It is your responsibility to pay your bills not mine. This ruling was on whether FJB has the legal authority to wipe your slate clean. He didn't. He even said so last year on 60 Minutes and FNP agreed with him. Thank God this generation was not the one carrying us into WW2. I suggest you get your blanket and pacifier and crawl into the fetal position and breath deeply. Wimps.

Should have been 9-0, but I expected a 6-3 decision, with the three die hard liberals voting for handouts. Once again, the Dems told their voters: "vote for us now, and we will give you free stuff tomorrow."
Thank you President Trump.

Joe is having a deliciously bad week…..I love it! He deserves every bit of the Hell coming his way after the disastrous policies he’s inflicted on this country.

Let the wailing, moaning, riots, and demonstrations begin. I wonder how many young people the MSM will find who will cry on cue because they have to live up to their obligations.

Again a 6-3 decision. Think about it. Who do these liberal judges think they are. Why don't they pay for student loans. Why doesn't every freakin democrat chip in and pay for student debt. Why don't they pay for my home loan, my car loan. These people will destroy this country with their sick agenda. Good thing the law and logic, and not emotion won this one.

Nancy Pelosi told the country during a news conference in the Congress that Biden had exceeded his Presidential authority, without the consent of Congress, to forgive student loans. At the time she was the top ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives, so what was the majority of the Supreme Court to do? Their decision should not be a surprise.

Biden's Rewarding "Deadbeats" plan was over the top. Any other person taking out a loan does not have the president decree that they don't have to repay it. If Biden got away with dumping this burden on tax payers, what next? Will car loans be next? Home loans? Where does it end?

Yes, thank you President Trump. But also, as much as I dislike him, we have to credit McConnell too or else we would have had a 5-4 court and probably a different outcome.
