Why Democrats Should Primary Biden

In the middle of the last century, prizefighters who weren’t fighting frequently enough to keep sharp would schedule tuneup matches with capable boxers to shake the ring rust out of their form. Their managers wouldn’t pick palookas or chumps but boxers who could challenge their guy in a way that would reveal his weaknesses and indicate what part of his game needed more training. President Joe Biden needs a tuneup. He’s a stiff when speaking at the lectern. Ooh, stop, please stop. I can't breathe, I'm laughing so hard. I just read the most hilarious sentence! "Several octogenarians who still have the gas it takes to operate the White House come to mind. Warren Buffett. Charles Koch. Michael Bloomberg. Nancy Pelosi." Warren Buffett is an investor in his own little fiefdom. All he knows about politics is how to grease the palms of senators when they're in a position to help him make another $billion. Charles Koch? You think he wants to campaign all over the country while the CIA, the FBI, and the NSA are digging through his laundry? Ha! Diminutive and unlikeable Mikey Bloomberg? "Stand up Michael! Stand up, Michael!" Oh, you're already standing up--what am I thinking? Can you say, "elitist?" Does the country long for a leader focused on the size of Americans' soft drinks? And to cap it all off, San Fran Nan??? Really? She's been speaking nonsense as much as Sleepy Joe! She has to call home every night just to make sure her husband isn't hanging out with gay trailer trash mental cases! Bang-bang Maxwell's silver hammer! Let Nan lick her teeth and negotiate with the Xi Jinping over Taiwan? Are you kidding?

Well, I don't think they should primary the Resident. Who could possibly replace him? He was Ubama's choice, for goodness sake. As far as he knows, in sheer greatness he soars above Lincoln, Washington, James Buchanan, and Millard Fillmore. (But he falls short of the munificent presidential accomplishments of William Henry Harrison, at least up until now.) After all, the White House staff gives us regular reports of how Joe has the energy of of ten tugboats, putting to shame interns less than a third his age. "Dr." Jill, by now so tired her tongue hanging down to her knees, has hired Eva Longoria to take her place in the connubial sack. And don't even get started on his bowling ball-sharp mind, again putting the staff to shame. When you're good, you're good. As far as you know.

This would be one way to by-pass Kamalala. She would be the loyal VP standing by her man, while Gov Grecian snatches away the nomination. Then Grecian can pick his own VP - most likely Kareem 'Curly-Top' Johnnie-Pierre.

I always thought both political parties cherished freedom in America and both were thankful for the blessings we all shared in liberty. Now we have forgotten our heritage and the blessings we have had bestowed upon the land of the free and the home of the brave. ...Or have we? Maybe we no longer recognize America as we have known it because we have let America's wisdom and our thankfulness fade away. We do reap what we sow. We better sow seeds of Liberty once again.

Tuneup? The guy needs a whole new engine and medical science isn't capable of brain transplants yet. Biden's only choice is a trip to the junkyard. The people who are filling in the fake ballots need to know very soon which name to fill in or they may not finish with the tens of millions they are going to need to get the next democrat in there. Their only option may be to go full-on dictatorship and skip the election. I really hope they go with that.

Neither party likes to seriously challenge it's president. And this year, you may get tar and feathered if you suggest that the primary Republican candidate actually have to work for the nomination. I'm fine with primaries. My only objection is the increasing number of candidates jumping into the clown cars. Candidates that have zero chance of winning the nomination and less in winning the general.

When we first heard the story of a hazmat situation and the White House being evacuated on Sunday, we were told by the media that they’d found cocaine hydrochloride “near the White House.” Then it was described as being on the White House complex. That could be anywhere, including on the grounds. It was also described as “cocaine hydrochloride,” with suggestions it could be an anesthetic. Then came the report that it was in the White House library, which is on the ground floor of the executive mansion, according to the Washington Post. But now the Secret Service is contradicting that report about the library. Newsmax reporter James Rosen

A federal judge on Tuesday blocked key Biden administration agencies and officials from meeting and communicating with Big Tech companies, in an extraordinary ruling that could change the way social media is used. It also could curtail efforts to combat false and misleading narratives as Americans prepare for the 2024 presidential election. The injunction is in response to a lawsuit brought by Republican attorneys general in Louisiana and Missouri. The states argued that government officials went too far in their efforts to encourage social media companies to address posts they worried could contribute to COVID vaccine hesitancy or upend elections.

As the left went into full freak-out most last week denouncing the Supreme Court for ending affirmative action, I argued that they were really overstating their case. One of the points I made in passing was that most colleges aren’t competitive. Today a pair of academics have written an opinion piece for the NY Times highlighting this even further. We’ll get to the text of the argument in a moment but the article itself opens with a graphic highlighting all of America’s major four-year colleges ranked by admittance rate. So, for instance, Harvard and Stanford have the lowest admittance rate in the country of just 4 percent.

The Israeli military deployed thousands of troops and drones in an attack on a Palestinian militant stronghold in the West Bank on Sunday night. Military officials expect the roughly 2,000 troops to remain in the West Bank city of Jenin for up to 48 hours after launching the operation. Palestinian officials say at least eight people were killed and 50 were wounded in the attack, which was larger than any operation Israel has carried out this year. "The operational command center served as an advanced observation and reconnaissance center, a place where armed terrorists would gather before and after terrorist activities," the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement, adding

On Sunday, the White House grounds were evacuated after an initially unidentified item was found. A United States Secret Service spokesperson confirmed the event, saying: U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division Officers located an unknown item on the White House complex. As a precaution, the White House grounds were evacuated, and the DC Fire Departments Hazmat team responded. A hazmat team responded to the area of 18th St and Pennsylvania Ave, and the Secret Service blocked roadways around the White House. All roads have re-opened since, according to the spokesperson. D.C. Emergency Medical officials later deemed the item to be “non-hazardous.”

Sec. State Blinken ordered this review of the department’s response to the Afghanistan withdrawal. The result is critical of both President Trump and President Biden saying they failed to plan appropriately for the withdrawal. The report is sharply critical of the U.S. government’s handling of the most serious evacuation crisis since the fall of Saigon. It says President Biden and his predecessor, Donald Trump, each failed to appreciate how a U.S. military pullout would affect the Afghan government’s stability, and that standard summer diplomatic rotations in the weeks ahead of Kabul’s collapse left the U.S. evacuation in the hands of personnel who in some cases had been in the country

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki claimed Republicans are recruiting Muslims against transgender people in her Sunday episode of MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki.” Psaki claimed Republicans are using former President Richard Nixon’s “Southern Strategy” method by turning Muslim Americans against transgender people and, in turn, winning their vote. “Now, decades later, the right-wing is reviving that same playbook,” Psaki said. “This time, with Muslim Americans and trans people. Hear me out here, the GOP is trying to recruit Muslim Americans, a community that makes up less than two percent of the U.S. population against another tiny marginalized group of Americans — transgender people.”

Not an obscure one, either: About a year prior, Inoue gave the Chair’s Address at a prestigious writing studies research conference and declared, “White people can perpetuate white supremacy by being present.Your body perpetuates racism.”
