Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said Wednesday that she supports efforts from the Biden administration to require the U.S. military to implement an all-electric vehicle fleet by 2030, telling lawmakers that she believes "we can get there."
Granholm's remarks came during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing following questions from Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, who asked the Biden administration official whether she supports the military's adoption of an "EV fleet by 2030."
"I do, and I think we can get there, as well"

Actor Marcia Gay Harden opened up about how her parenting journey has inspired her LGBTQ advocacy. (Snip) “What drives me is because it’s right and what’s happening right now is wrong,” Harden, 63, told the telethon’s co-host Adam Shankman. “What drives me is — my children are all queer. My eldest child is nonbinary. My son is gay. My youngest is fluid. And you know, they are my kids and they teach me every day.”

Bud Light’s downward spiral has accelerated in the wake of the Dylan Mulvaney debacle — and the carnage has begun to spill into Anheuser-Busch’s other mega-buck brands, The Post has learned.
Nationwide retail sales of Bud Light were down 23.4% versus a year ago in the week of April 29 — worse than the 21.4% decline it suffered a week earlier, according to Bump Williams Consulting and NielsenIQ data.
Meanwhile, as beer drinkers discover how many other beer brands fall under the Anheuser-Busch umbrella, the backlash is widening, according to the fresh data.

After more than 11,000 migrants crossed the southern border on Tuesday, the Biden administration is now preparing a memo that will direct Customs and Border Protection to begin releasing migrants into the United States without court dates or the ability to track them, according to three sources familiar with the plans. (Snip) The more than 11,000 border apprehensions in a single day marks a new record and surpasses expectations of 10,000 per day predicted by Department of Homeland Security officials on what could come when Covid-19 restrictions lift late Thursday. “We’re already breaking and we haven’t hit the starting line,”

Joe Biden fundraised off of former President Donald Trump’s CNN town hall appearance on Wednesday, asking people if they “want four more years of that?”
“It’s simple, folks. Do you want four more years of that? If you don’t, pitch in to our campaign,” the president tweeted Wednesday night. (Tweet) As Breitbart News reported, former President Donald Trump largely dominated the CNN town hall on Wednesday as he blew through Kaitlan Collins’ questioning and speaking almost unopposed:

As it continues to aggressively push LGBTQ ideology in its entertainment for children, the Walt Disney Co. invited drag queen Nina West to the world premiere of its live-action The Little Mermaid on Monday at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
During the blue-carpet festivities, Nina West — whose real name is Andrew Levitt — cavorted with actress Melissa McCarthy, who plays Ursula the Sea Witch and has stated her performance was inspired by drag queens. Nina West thanked Disney in an Instagram post, saying, “Thank you, @disney @disneystudios @disneyanimation @disneylittlemermaid for having me tonight and allowing me to share in such a magical celebration.”

Trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney has said she has been having trouble sleeping since a backlash erupted over her partnership with Bud Light and questioned the psychological effects of being called a man thousands of times a day.
Her comments came during an episode of the 'Dear Schuyler' podcast, hosted by trans athlete Schuyler Bailar and which released on Monday.
Mulvaney suggested that as the trans debate in the US has escalated, transphobia has become increasingly blatant, resulting in an inhospitable 'wild west' for trans people.

Former President Donald Trump steamrolled CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during Wednesday’s Townhall event in New Hampshire, dismissing her politically biased and outdated questions, effectively reducing her role as the moderator by speaking directly to the audience about the “gotcha” topics a visibly irritated Collins continually posed throughout the night.
The highly anticipated townhall event, teased by Trump, boded well for the former president, despite Collins’s attempt to begin the event with a series of contentious topics and arguably outdated leftist narratives — from the 2020 election results to January 6 to accusations in the E. Jean Carroll case. Notably, Trump received a standing ovation at his introduction.

A U.N.-sponsored study has sounded the alarm on a “silent emergency” of preterm birth rates variously attributed to “climate change” amongst a host of other factors.
The report titled Born Too Soon: Decade of Action on Preterm Birth was produced by the combined efforts of the World Health Organisation (W.H.O.) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Overall, it finds preterm birth rates have not changed in any region in the world in the past decade, with 152 million vulnerable babies born too soon from 2010 to 2020.

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. — U.S. Rep. George Santos, the New York Republican infamous for fabricating key parts of his life story, was arrested Wednesday on federal criminal charges ahead of an expected court appearance.
The indictment says Santos induced supporters to donate to a company under the false pretense that the money would be used to support his campaign. Instead, it says, he used it for personal expenses, including luxury designer clothes and to pay off his credit cards.
Santos also is accused of lying about his finances on congressional disclosure forms and applying for and receiving unemployment benefits while he was employed as regional director of an investment firm

Recently, while apologizing to "indigenous peoples" and denouncing Christians — without the all-important historical context — Pope Francis declared, "Never again can the Christian community allow itself to be infected by the idea that one culture is superior to others[.]"
This — claiming all cultures are equal — is a dangerous position, not least as it leads to relativism and the abnegation of Truth.
For most Western people today, the word culture conjures at best superficial differences — "exotic" dress or food. In reality, however, cultures are nothing less than entire and distinct worldviews with their own unique sets of right and wrongs, often rooted in a

89-year-old Dianne Feinstein on Wednesday returned to the senate in a wheelchair.
Feinstein will turn 90 next month.
Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein finally returned to the senate after a 3-month absence due to shingles. “Even though I’ve made significant progress and was able to return to Washington, I’m still experiencing some side effects from the shingles virus,” Feinstein said. “My doctors have advised me to work a lighter schedule as I return to the Senate. I’m hopeful those issues will subside as I continue to recover.”
