Joe Biden fundraised off of former President Donald Trump’s CNN town hall appearance on Wednesday, asking people if they “want four more years of that?”
“It’s simple, folks. Do you want four more years of that? If you don’t, pitch in to our campaign,” the president tweeted Wednesday night. (Tweet) As Breitbart News reported, former President Donald Trump largely dominated the CNN town hall on Wednesday as he blew through Kaitlan Collins’ questioning and speaking almost unopposed:

Recently, while apologizing to "indigenous peoples" and denouncing Christians — without the all-important historical context — Pope Francis declared, "Never again can the Christian community allow itself to be infected by the idea that one culture is superior to others[.]"
This — claiming all cultures are equal — is a dangerous position, not least as it leads to relativism and the abnegation of Truth.
For most Western people today, the word culture conjures at best superficial differences — "exotic" dress or food. In reality, however, cultures are nothing less than entire and distinct worldviews with their own unique sets of right and wrongs, often rooted in a

The Biden administration is proposing new limits on greenhouse gas emissions from coal and gas-fired power plants, its most ambitious effort yet to roll back planet-warming pollution from the nation's second-largest contributor to climate change.
A rule to be unveiled Thursday by the Environmental Protection Agency could force power plants to capture smokestack emissions using a technology that has long been promised but is not in widespread use in the U.S.
If finalized, the proposed regulation would mark the first time the federal government has restricted carbon dioxide emissions from existing power plants,

CNN employees publicly disagreed with network head Chris Licht on whether or not “America was served” by hosting former President Donald Trump at Wednesday night’s town hall event.
The event, which was reportedly cut short due to Trump’s performance, was largely seen as a success by Trump supporters, and reportedly by Trump’s team as well. (Tweet/Photos) Trump’s rare appearance on the network — highlighted by the result — did not sit well with some CNN employees, who took to public forums to air grievances about if Licht was correct in suggesting “America was served” by the town hall.

Workers in a San Francisco Target store say they are being shoplifted every ten minutes, as the city faces an exodus of retail stores due to theft.
Employees say they have watched individuals actively 'shoveling' goods into bags before making off.
Multiple products including shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes and some foods are now kept behind barriers that require staff to open them. But other goods including trays of lipstick and nail polishes are being cleaned out by shoplifters on a daily basis,

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the 89-year-old California Democrat who on Wednesday arrived in the Capitol after a near-three-month absence due to illness, reportedly confused one black man with another.
Feinstein in 2021 approached Sen. Tim Scott, a Republican who has represented South Carolina in the Senate since 2013, "stuck out her hand, and told him she had been rooting for him and was so happy to have him serving with her in the Senate," according to a new book that Politico excerpted on Thursday. Scott and his staffers knew that "Feinstein had mistaken the South Carolinian for Raphael Warnock, the newly elected Democratic senator from Georgia," and "played along."

E. Jean Carroll threatened to sue Donald Trump for a third time over the 'vile' comments he made during the CNN town hall on Wednesday night.
Her latest legal threat came as the former President formally filed a notice of appeal after he was found liable of sexually abusing and defaming the Elle columnist, and she was awarded $5million in damages.
Carroll told The New York Times on Thursday that she was considering filing another defamation suit after Trump told CNN's Kaitlan Collins the story was 'fake' and 'made up'.

In this episode of The Insanity Continues in the No-Longer-Golden State…
As the power-drunk California Reparations Commission continues its ridiculous demands on the Democrat-controlled state to make amends for slavery and racism, the task force is now demanding a formal state apology for former Gov Ronald Reagan’s use of the term “welfare queen.”
Never mind that California never in its history allowed slavery. Never mind that the task force claimed Reagan used the term while he served as governor from January 1967 to January 1975, but in reality, he used it during the 1976 presidential campaign after he left the governor’s mansion.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Joy Behar have led condemnation of CNN's decision to host a town hall with Donald Trump, which saw the former president bask in the spotlight and repeat a series of lies, joking about being found liable for sexual assault and mocking the moderator as 'nasty'.
The 70-minute session, held in New Hampshire in front of a strongly pro-Trump crowd, seemed at times more like a Trump rally than an interrogation, as the former president held court and moderator Kaitlan Collins tried to keep control.
During his tense confrontation with Collins he called January 6 a 'beautiful day', insisted he had 'every right' to take classified documents to Mar-a-Lago,

I’ve told this story before, but it bears repeating here. Once upon a time, I wanted to be an Episcopal priest. The diocese in which I was living rejected me. (snip) But one Sunday, an older “supply,” or substitute priest, took me aside and told me not to take it personally. (snip) But he continued, “Right now, the diocese is not accepting straight, white men for the ordination process. But if you hang in there, you might have a chance in a few years or so.” (snip) The United Methodist Church lost a significant number of parishes over the weekend.

After moderating CNN’s town hall with Donald Trump, Kaitlan Collins is expected to be tapped as the new host of the network’s 9 p.m. hour, which has lacked a permanent occupant for more than a year.
The deal was being finalized before Wednesday night’s event, after CNN Worldwide CEO Chris Licht had decided to launch a primetime show around her in recent weeks, sources said. Puck News first reported on the plans for Collins.

LAKELAND, Fla. - Polk County investigators identified the 13-year-old who fired a round at a Lakeland officer, striking him in the foot. Other officers shoot at the teen, sending him to the hospital.
During a press conference Thursday, Sheriff Grady Judd also named a 14-year-old and 19-year-old Jermaine Julian, saying they were with the youngest suspect, 13-year-old Wesley Dalmas, and tried to flee from police. Investigators said Julian is in a gang, while the Dalmas and Speight are "gang affiliated."
The sheriff firmly pointed out that age doesn't matter in the scenario that played out in Lakeland on Wednesday evening.
"I don’t care that chronologically they are 14, 13, or 19.
