"I anticipate terminating the national emergency concerning the COVID-19 pandemic on May 11, 2023," President Joe Biden said in February.
The end of the COVID emergency means that Title 42, the public health authority, will no longer be used as grounds to immediately expel illegal border-crossers.
As the March numbers suggest, the anticipated end of Title 42 next month may prompt another surge at the nation's borders.
Terrorist watchlist
Of particular concern is the growing number of people on the terrorist watchlist apprehended between ports of entry.

Well, we dared to hope. When Mitch McConnell fell at a hotel in Washington in early March and couldn’t get up, we thought we might have a chance for new Republican leadership in the Senate and for some real opposition to the Left’s increasingly insane agenda, rather than the dreary establishment Me-Tooism that McConnell represents. When Mitch was out of action for weeks, Matt Margolis noted that “there are whispers that he might not be fit to return to the Senate and is preparing for retirement.” It was enough to make a patriot positively giddy with excitement at the prospect, but alas,

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) found that Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra violated federal law.
Special Counsel Henry Kerner sent a letter to President Joe Biden in which he said that Becerra violated the Hatch Act by publicly expressing support for California Democrat Sen. Alex Padilla’s reelection while appearing in an official capacity as HHS secretary.
"As explained in the accompanying report, OSC concluded that Secretary Becerra violated the Hatch Act by expressing support for Senator Alex Padilla’s reelection while speaking in his official capacity at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Awards Gala on September 15, 2022," Kerner wrote.

WASHINGTON—House Speaker Kevin McCarthy worked furiously Tuesday to build support for a Republican plan that would demand strict limits to federal spending in return for agreeing to raise the nation’s debt limit and stave off an unprecedented U.S. default.
But President Joe Biden swiftly swatted down the plan, which would cap much federal spending at increases of 1% a year, as requiring “huge cuts” to programs helping millions of Americans.
It was just the latest in what is expected to be a protracted debate over how, when and even whether to raise the nation’s debt limit, now at $31 trillion, with default and a potentially devastating blow to the economy

Joe Biden on Tuesday was seen in public for the first time in several days after returning from a taxpayer-funded vacation in Ireland.
Biden wore sunglasses as he delivered remarks from the Rose Garden on his abysmal economy and his admin’s efforts to help families access healthcare. (Photo) Joe Biden on Monday signed an executive order containing more than 50 directives to ‘improve access to child care.’
80-year-old Joe Biden mumbled through his remarks and slurred his words for 15 minutes before shuffling away to sign the sweeping executive order.
After signing the executive order Biden mingled with the crowd.

A $787.5 million settlement has been reached in Dominion Voting Systems' $1.6billion defamation case against Fox News.
After an hours-long delay, Judge Eric Davis entered the courtroom just before 4pm and thanked the jurors as he dismissed them with the simple words, 'The parties have resolved their case.'
After the jury was dismissed attorneys for both parties thanked the court. Judge Davis in turn complimented their professionalism throughout. This brings an end to the contentious case that saw the voting machine company accuse the cable news network of 'giving life' to a 'manufactured storyline' about voter fraud after the 2020 election.

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News exclusively that if elected back into the White House he would immediately end current Democrat President Joe Biden’s scheme to give Obamacare to illegal aliens in contravention of a promise former President Barack Obama made.
Biden’s administration, as Breitbart News has reported, has taken steps to via executive action provide access to the Affordable Care Act to illegal aliens in the United States. Obama, when he was president and championing Obamacare’s passage through Congress, pledged that Obamacare would never get approved for illegal aliens—so Biden’s move is a direct betrayal of that promise.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has paid $7,500 to an Illinois man who sued because he was tired of getting so many fundraising text messages.
This sets an interesting precedent. Can anyone sue politicians on this basis? (Snip)

More than a million migrants, whom President Joe Biden’s administration has released into the United States through a parole pipeline, could enjoy a multi-billion-dollar welfare payday a few years from now, new analysis suggests.
As Breitbart News reported, since early 2021, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released more than a million migrants into the U.S. interior by awarding them parole — a program initially intended for rare, case-by-case circumstances.Analysis conducted by the Center for Immigration Studies’ George Fishman, a former DHS official from the Trump administration, finds that should many of these migrants awarded parole remain in the U.S. for at least five years, they will become eligible
