Trans activists have been storming state capitols over the last few days. On March 29, it was Kentucky. On March 30, it was Tennessee. Now for the third day in a row, trans activists have stormed another state capitol.
This time, it’s Florida. But I’m fairly certain that none of these people will be charged with an effort to “obstruct an official proceeding,” after they screamed at the top of their lungs.
One of the organizers ranted, to whip up the crowd, “This fight does not end here. We keep showing up every single day. We keep making our voices heard.” Then

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman has left Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after six weeks of inpatient treatment for clinical depression, with plans to return to the Senate when the chamber resumes session in mid-April, his office said Friday. In a statement, Fetterman's office said he is back home in Braddock, in western Pennsylvania, with his depression “in remission,” and gave details on his treatment — including that his depression was treated with medication and that he is wearing hearing aids for hearing loss. It was the latest medical episode for the Democrat, who won last fall's

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley has issued a warning to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over his politically motivated case against President Donald Trump.
The legal scholar notes that New York judges, especially at the Appellate level, will not like the George Soros-funded prosecutor’s case against Trump.
“This indictment, if it is reportedly following the theory that we’ve been talking about, is political,” Turley said.
“It’s a raw political prosecution.

An agreement has been reached between prosecutors in Manhattan and Trump’s legal team over the terms of the former Presidents surrender. The news comes less than a day after the Manhattan Grand Jury announced their vote to indict the former president for his hush money case with Stormy Daniels.According to the report, Trump will not be handcuffed when he surrenders. The unusual event will mark the first instance of a former US commander-in-chief being arrested and brought to court.

Everything about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is shallow fakery and manipulative astroturf. The term “astroturf” is given whenever a political operation attempts to generate the illusion of support where little to no support exists. Astroturf politics is pure fabrication and highlights the smallness of the candidate for whom the astroturf operation is conducted.
In republican national politics we saw astroturf operations around Carly Fiorina and Ted Cruz in 2016, so it doesn’t come as a surprise to see the same individual’s surface again as hired by Team DeSantis to create his 2024 astroturf campaign. Yesterday’s trip(snip)to Georgia was pure astroturf, complete with free DeSantis ’24 swag, t-shirts, and various

Former President Donald Trump will be facing at least one felony charge in his Manhattan case, the Associated Press reported moments ago.
While Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has yet to formally release a list of the charges against Trump, it is believed charges stemming from allegedly falsifying records will be raised from misdemeanors to felony levels. The charges come related to allegations the former president paid Michael Cohen $130,000 in “hush money” to send to Stormy Daniels,

It must be frustrating at times to be Gavin Newsom. It’s true that he’s rich, has the striking good looks of a decades-old Ken doll accidentally uncovered in a landfill, and is the Governor of California. But he is also the governor of a state that probably set a record for hemorrhaging the largest number of citizens in the shortest amount of time in the history of this nation, or for that matter any other, during peacetime. He is the governor of cities that are losing businesses and gaining homeless camps. Poverty, lawlessness, and decay have become the hallmarks of cities

Liberals might be scratching their heads over why potential Donald Trump rivals are rushing to denounce his indictment. The reason is simple. Conservative Republicans know that if this assault is allowed to stand, they will be next.
The left, as well as the rabble of never-Trump Republicans, like to tell everybody that the unprecedented measures taken against Trump – culminating with this week’s indictment – are justified because he poses a unique threat to our precious democracy.
Just to review, we’re talking about measures like Democrats impeaching him twice on the flimsiest of grounds. Like federal law enforcement

The reaction to the unprecedented indictment of President Trump was predictable. (snip) Pelosi wrote:
“No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence.”
This is nothing short of a shocking statement, especially from a lawmaker with many decades of experience. The presumption of innocence is the standard in any civilized democracy (snip) It is unlikely that Pelosi isn’t aware of the legal standards in the U.S. Perhaps her feeling of schadenfreude got the better of her, or maybe this is a warning for others who support the MAGA agenda.

More than $4 million has been donated to Trump's presidential campaign in the 24 hours since he was indicted, his team has claimed.
A quarter of the money came from new donors and contributions could be traced to all 50 states, according to a fundraising email sent out by Trump on Friday night.
It comes after his son-in-law Jared Kushner insisted the indictment would 'only make him stronger.'Trump's team alleges that at least one contribution had come from every single state in America within five hours of a Manhattan jury voting to indict him

Just in case you’re not sick enough with rage, here come the usual Republican gang of idiots, clowns and political eunuchs. As I remember it, Bill Kristol used to be a fairly decent guy. Trump hatred does ugly things to people. One thing is for sure. This merry band of traitors did NOT think this through.
