PORTLAND, Ore. – In the last decade, gender pronouns have become a much more common sight to see and hear – both in social media profiles, in their email signatures, on patches and pins, and when they introduce themselves. As the fight for LGBTQ+ equality and rights continues, many people, including celebrities like Sam Smith and Demi Lovato, have publicly announced that they’re non-binary and use they/them pronouns. (Snip) People can also use non-gendered or gender-neutral pronouns such as they/them, ze/zir, ze/hir, xe/xem, fe/fem, ey/em, co/co, or per/per. Some of these, such as ze/sem and fe/fem, are known as neo

Well, Amanda, I'm going to keep using the words I was taught when I began to speak, some many, many years ago and were words that humans used to describe men and women for untold millennia. If a mentally ill person wants to describe themselves in whatever way they see fit by words that were manufactured 5 years ago, that's all right with me but by the same respect they must be all right with me if I don't go along with their mental illness issues. I refuse to be an accomplice to the destruction of Civilization.

Perhaps they should use terms that more accurately describes them such as, stupid/ ignorant, insane/teched or moronic/infantile.

Destruction of civilization begins with the destruction of language, and of meaning. If Amanda ever tried to run this crap by me in my day to day life, she'd be smarting from the tongue lashing she would get. What an immoral fool. She knows nothing worth knowing.

If they insist on something "out of the ordinary" they will get referred to as It/That from me, and accept it ...or screw right off.
In nearly EVERYTHING i do I am either an employer or a customer, and in either role "I'm always right".

I have concocted my response to anyone telling me his/her "preferred" pronoun. I will explain that the words coming out of my mouth are mine, not theirs. When I use a pronoun it has nothing to do with gender but biological sex. If they a good enough makeup artist, they may fool me, but I will use the pronoun that I decide corresponds with their biological sex.

Any writer more concerned about pronouns than the dystopian hell on earth that has laid siege to her city has earned the pronoun "DumbAzz".

Do not ask me to participate in your mental illness fantasy. You do what you want but I will not play your game. He, she or it has accommodated us for a long time. You choose your pronouns and I will choose what I want to use.

If you get your own pronouns, then I get my own adjectives. My adjectives are Brave, Intelligent, Handsome, and Strong. You will use those adjectives, and no others, every time you refer to me.

Animals have 2 sexes . Male and female. Birds have 2 sexes. Fish have 2 sexes. Insects have 2 sexes. Plants have 2 sexes. Electrical outlets have 2 sexes. That is all we need. If you believe differently, you believe wrong. It goes against nature. I refuse to enable you in your fantasy insanity. Get help.

A phrase I came up with to deal with crazies and those one no longer wishes to interact with for various reasons: "Our worldviews are sufficiently different that meaningful and healthy interaction between us is not possible." Give it a shot - it has worked wonders in my life.

Why on earth would this writer assume that the public is inclined to participate in affirming a confused person’s nonsense? When I got to the table of pseudo pronouns I wondered whether the writer was having us on. Still not sure.

"I identify as a person who does not use proper pronouns."
.... I wish I had thought of it, but this is from the 'Wally' character in Scott Adam's 'Dilbert' comic.
As far as I am concerned, all these 'gender bullies' - because that's what they are- are either Sick or Evil (take your pick) and I refuse to play their game.
