My friend and I sometimes argue about media outlets like CNN and MSNBC. Why do they spread misinformation?
A. Are they grossly uninformed?
B. Do they know the truth but tell falsehoods anyway?
C. Do they think we are stupid or naïve?
My buddy feels that the media outlets know the truth but lie about it.
To me, it is more complicated. The nice-looking journalists who read the teleprompters are genuinely ignorant. On the other hand, the news producers probably know the truth but spread misinformation anyway. Producers are the ones who select the topics, construct the programs, and hire the special analysts. Let’s consider this recent example.

Next Wednesday is International Women’s Day. In the spirit of celebrating women, Hershey’s Canada has issued special chocolate bars bearing the likeness of special women.
Women like Fae Johnstone, who happens to be a man cosplaying being a woman. [Tweet] One of the things I like so much about the transgender movement is that it finally acknowledges a truth that all misogynists have long believed: that men are better at everything, including being a woman.
Better female athletes. Better at fighting for justice. Better at even understanding what it means to be a woman.
Take that, J.K. Rowling. Fae has Hershey’s Canada on his side. [Tweet] Fae is only one of 5 women

In a heated exchange with Gestapo chief Merrick Garland at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) directly challenged Garland’s viciously corrupt and politicized “Justice” Department, and zeroed in on the once-respected agency’s targeting of traditionalist Roman Catholics. While Garland maintained, in the teeth of the available evidence, that the department is not actually targeting Catholics, he claimed not to know how many spies and informants the feds have in those hotbeds of terrorism, traditional Catholic

Linda Kasabian, a member of the infamous “Manson Family” and the prosecution's key witness to cult leader Charles Manson during the murder trials of him and the Family, has died at 73.

SAN DIEGO — A California panel on Wednesday denied parole for Robert F. Kennedy assassin Sirhan Sirhan, saying the 78-year-old prisoner still lacks insight into what caused him to shoot the senator and presidential candidate in 1968, Sirhan’s lawyer said.
That contradicted the decision by a different parole board two years ago when its members found Sirhan to be suitable for release. Gov. Gavin Newson rejected the decision in 2022, keeping him in state prison.
Sirhan’s lawyer Angela Berry disputed he lacks insight and argued at Wednesday’s hearing that his psychiatrists have said for decades that he is unlikely to reoffend or be a danger to society.

Industrial-scale fraud, committed by organized actors, accelerates over time like a drug-resistant bacterium.
If you want to know how America is going to get screwed in 2024, follow the dough. That is the Zuckerberg dough. Zuck and pals are spending tens of millions of dollars, not padding voter rolls, not fighting lawsuits, not getting voters out early… they are spending the dough infiltrating and controlling election commissions.
For those who think cleaning the voter rolls and voting early are enough protect 2024, our data proves you are delusional. The Left is all in controlling election commissions. Expect Kari Lake’s outcome to move from an outlier to a standard outcome

Old Joe Biden has been in politics for over half a century, and before the onset of his dementia, he could be a fluid and occasionally effective public speaker, although he was never as charming or compelling as he clearly believed himself to be. But as he has aged, the doddering corruptocrat who pretends to be president of the United States has lost whatever ability he ever had to move an audience.
Now, more often than not, he tries for an emotional effect and only manages to come off as weird, as with his bizarre habit of whispering points he wants to give particular emphasis.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy pinned down Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday, leaving her on the defensive over Joe Biden’s record of softness toward China.
In the exchange, Doocy hit a variety of points, including the lack of response over the Chicoms flying a spy balloon across the continental United States and the recent revelations on the origins of COVID-19.
In response, Karine Jean-Pierre let it be known that Biden is “brave,” citing media reports as her proof. (Snip) Every single “journalist” in that room (or their outlets) who pushed the ridiculous notion that Biden’s trip to Ukraine was uniquely “brave” should feel nothing but shame from Jean-Pierre’s shout-out.

A proposed Oregon bill would provide the deep blue state’s homeless population $1,000 per month that recipients could use at their own discretion.
The bill, introduced last month, would establish a People’s Housing Assistance Fund Demonstration Program to give 12 monthly thousand-dollar payments to those suffering from homelessness or who are on the brink of becoming homeless.
“Payments may be used for rent, emergency expenses, food, child care or other goods or services of the participant’s choosing,” the bill states.
People who spend more than 50 percent of their monthly household income on rent, and those who earn 60% or less of the area median income would also be eligible for the funding.

Could the day come when you are denied medical treatment because you’re white, male, or a member of some other group of “oppressors”? Of course it could, and it’s coming sooner than you might think. Even in solidly red Tennessee, where Donald Trump won 60% of the vote in 2020, a new report has revealed what the Tennessee Star on Friday called “the pervasive infiltration of woke diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) ideologies in Tennessee medical school curricula and programs.” Could this have an impact on the quality of your medical treatment? You bet your life — and you may end up having to do so.

By way of a brief recap:
Recently, Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch gave a deposition as part of a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed against the network by Dominion Voting Systems. Documents from the depositions were released Monday. The New York Times reports that Murdoch acknowledged that Fox hosts pushed falsehoods about the 2020 election. Now, Fox will probably end up paying some money. Murdoch is simply trying to see if he can minimize his losses. This is a network that, as I write this, is reporting on gymnast Olivia Dunne, Randi Weingarten’s tantrum outside of

In the 1960s, 90% of murders were solved. That fell to 75% in 1980, and 60% in 2000. In the year of Black Lives Matter, the homicide clearance rate fell so low that it became a ‘coin flip’.
The media reported that only 50% of murders were being solved. What was less reported was that this mainly reflected a drop in solving black murders. Homicide clearance rates for white people have actually improved since the 1980s and reached a high during the Obama administration even as black homicide clearance rates dropped catastrophically.
In the 70s, 80% of the murders of black people were solved. Under Obama, only 60% were.
