Larry Elder is running for president in 2024 and could announce as early as April, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The right-wing political commentator all but legally filed to run for president on Wednesday, telling conservative host Steve Hilton in a podcast recording to air Thursday that he will be entering the primary contest to take on President Donald Trump in the Republican primary.
Elder thinks that the biggest domestic issue 'by far' in the U.S. is children being born to parents who are not married.
The black conservative radio host appears to want to address some race issues in the U.S. from the conservative perspective.

WASHINGTON — A trio of former bigwigs at Twitter told the House Oversight Committee Wednesday they could not recall major facts about the decision to suppress The Post’s bombshell October 2020 stories on Hunter Biden’s laptop — though one claimed the decision was based in part on the social media giant’s own echo chamber rather than the demands of federal law enforcement.
Under questioning led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), former Twitter deputy general counsel James Baker, ex-head of trust and safety Yoel Roth and former policy director Vijaya Gadde took turns deflecting allegations of “collusion” between the FBI and Twitter to censor The Post.

President Joe Biden said Wednesday that he didn't believe the House GOP's probe into his son Hunter and brother James' foreign business dealings would have an impact on his presidency.
'The public's not going to pay attention to that. They want these guys to do something,' Biden said. 'It's not going to go very far.'
The president sat down for a wide-ranging post-State of the Union interview with PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff, which included the admission that he hadn't made a final decision to run in 2024.
'I haven't made my decision, that's my intention, but I have not made that decision firmly yet,' he said.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) proposed a new rule this week that would crack down on taxing the service industry's tips.
The Service Industry Tip Compliance Agreement (SITCA) proposal would be a voluntary program between the IRS and employers that the IRS says would 'decrease taxpayer and IRS administrative burdens and provide more transparency and certainty to taxpayers.'
The proposal is now open to public comment until May 7.
The program would monitor employer compliance based on actual annual tip revenue and charge tip data from an employer's point-of-sale

A high-flying ABC news producer who died outside a Bobby Van's steakhouse in Manhattan after enjoying a meal with his wife while their young daughters were left alone in a hotel room choked to death while drunk.
Dax Tejera, 37, died two days before Christmas while spending the holidays in New York City with his family. His bosses at ABC previously attributed his death to a heart attack.
Hours later, his wife, Veronica Tejera, was arrested on child endangerment charges after it emerged the couple had left their children, aged two years old and five months old, in their hotel room.

Former President Donald Trump is ahead of his potential 2024 Republican challengers by double digits, a Tuesday Morning Consult survey found.
The survey showed Trump leading his closest potential challenger, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), by 18 percent, garnering 49 percent support compared to the governor’s 31 percent.
No other potential challenger comes close, as former Vice President Mike Pence falls to third place with just seven percent support. Former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, who is reportedly slated to announce a presidential bid this month, comes in fourth place with three percent support, followed by former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) with two percent and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)

On Wednesday, former top executives at Twitter appeared before the House oversight committee to give testimony regarding the social media giant’s management of information related to the interference of the 2020 election and Joe Biden’s son.
The hearing marks the start of the agenda of the newly-Republican controlled House, highlighting their focus on long-standing claims that major tech companies exhibited a bias against conservatism.
At one point during the hearing, Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert appeared to catch former Twitter executive Yoel Roth in a lie.
The moment came as Boebert was discussing how her Twitter account had previously been suspended.

While CBS News was busy clutching their pearls into diamonds over Republican opposition to President Biden’s lies about them in his divisive State of the Union address Tuesday night, ABC News analysts admitted that his comments about Republicans wanting to abolish Social Security were “over the top.” But they were fine with it because “he did it with a smile.”
Chief anchor David Muir clutched his pearls over how Republicans dared to push back on the President’s lies. “Their behavior was on full display tonight,” he chided. “You heard Marjorie Taylor Greene yell ‘liar’ when it came to Medicare and Social Security, but then -- this was an interesting scene

Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger on Wednesday announced a sweeping corporate restructuring that will result in 7,000 people losing their jobs as part of an effort to achieve $5.5 billion in cost savings.
The Mouse House, which is under pressure to turn a profit from its global streaming business, said it would reorganize into three segments: an entertainment unit that encompasses film, television and streaming; a sports-focused ESPN unit; and Disney parks, experiences and products.
“I do not make this decision lightly,” Iger said on Wednesday’s conference call with investors,

The numbers are in for Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday evening, and they aren’t good.
According to CNN’s post-speech poll, Biden’s divisive, dishonest spectacle scored the lowest ratings of any State of the Union since 1998, with just 34 percent saying they had a “very positive” reaction.(Tweet) The press, including CNN, did their best to spin the numbers in Biden’s favor, choosing to focus on the topline number showing 72 percent had a positive reaction. Context is everything, though, and the context of that number is that it’s actually very low compared to other modern presidents, including Donald Trump.
Audiences traditionally have a largely positive reaction

Who can forget Joe Biden’s presentation in front of the Council on Foreign Relations event after the 2016 Election?
In his own words, with cameras rolling, Joe Biden described how he threatened the Ukrainian President and said that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if Ukraine didn’t immediately fire the prosecutor investigating Burmisa Holdings.

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) slammed the Biden administration for not producing a “full crosscutting report” on Ukraine funding for Congress by the deadline date and is calling for the president to produce an “immediate plan” that would end the Ukraine conflict and also benefit American national security interests.
“Over a month ago, Congress appropriated billions in additional security assistance for the war in Ukraine. When President Biden signed that bill into law, he pledged that his administration would deliver a report detailing our financial commitment to this conflict,” Vance said in a statement.
However, as the Buckeye State senator noted, President Joe Biden’s administration “flagrantly ignored its own obligation to transparency”
