Our Blue Problem

What happened to George Floyd - - was that he died from a massive drug overdose - - including a multi-killer-size ingestion of fentanyl. Yup - - that's what I hear happened to George Floyd.

In the Memphis incident at least three of the cops pepper sprayed themselves or each other...whether they even sprayed the guy they were trying to arrest has yet to be determined.

What is forgotten is that, if you look at actual FBI statistics, this actually happens to white people in much higher numbers than it happens to any minority group each year. The reason white people don't start rioting in the streets and looting and burning when it happens to another white person, and that it never even makes the new, is that white people realize that 99.999% of the time, if this happens to a white person, that white person was breaking the law, resisting arrest, and often threatening officers with a weapon. There are a few bad cops out there. Cops are also human, and in the adrenaline-induced stress of a given situation, even the best of cops can over-react at times. And, sadly, when cops don't keep their guards up and react with strength, it can be fatal to the cop. Over 450 cops were killed in the line of duty in 2021. That is a reality of their lives every single day. We do hold cops to a higher level of responsibility in our society. And if these cops did wrong, they do need to pay. But, as always, rendering judgement based on a video recording instead of waiting for all the facts to come out, is what braindead lie-berals do. I will wait to render judgement until there is a trial and all the facts are presented.

When an author starts off with "what happened to George Floyd" and implies it was a cop killing.....I am DONE. That author is an uninformed, herd-following fool, and nothing he writes will be of any value.

One BIG problem is that cops cannot hold down and sit or kneel on suspects anymore, certainly cannot restrain them with an arm anywhere NEAR their neck, have been ordered to chemical spray instead of physically restrain, or tase, use strikes instead of grapple/pressure point techniques. I do think that there should be some training to ankle cuff suspects quickly, particularly when there are "Extra" cops right there anyway....and particularly suspects that have already attempted to run. Maybe get some Real Cowboys to train cops with a pigg'n string.

#1, right on! Floyd was not "murdered," Floyd was not "killed," and Floyd did not die of a drug overdose but from something called EXCITED DELIRIUM SYNDROME (EDS). The qualified cops are quitting or retiring the cities run by Democrats. To increase hiring, Memphis lowered the performance bar on applicants and put thugs in uniform. This will continue in most cities run by Democrats. Might as well put badges on Hell's Angels.
