President Biden confirmed Wednesday that he plans to visit the southern border as part of a trip to Mexico City next week.
“That’s my intention, we’re working out the details now,” he told Fox News, and other reporters, as he disembarked from Air Force one.
Between January 9-10, the president will join Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the North American Leaders’ Summit, where they will collaborate on growing their countries’ economies and addressing current challenges to the region.
Biden has received intense criticism for not stopping by the border once since he assumed office.

I can see it now …. thousands of illegals waving and yelling “Gracias, gracias! Viva Biden!”
His staff is just working out the details.

Biden will give them a welcome handshake, sniff some little girls, and tell them when to expect their checks.

Yeah, he'll be looking out the window of AF1 as he flies by the border. Close enough.

Biden is doing this because he is now in a legislative stalemate except for executive orders, which so far have been successfully challenged in many cases. He prefers McCarthy for Speaker because a real Conservative would make his life hell. McCarthy asked him to go so he’s going. Democrats never do anything without a political payback. I despair at the astounding stupidity of cable news talking heads. Including Fox News.

Democrats have already started building a Potemkin village at the border. "See, Mr. President, your border policies are working just fine. Look at all the smiling faces of guards and well-fed happy asylum seekers. Not a sexual predator or Islamic terrorist in sight. And, Mr. President, they're all gonna vote Democrat next election, no citizenship needed."

Expect some totally unheard of before "Major Foreign Policy" announcement to be Proclaimed from Mex City, one I'm guessing will NOT be in the USA's best interests.
Were it up to me, I'd be pressing Mexico to build a wall, across the narrowest point of their country, (Approx 130 miles)already the trans Mexico hwy 185 and the Tehuantepec RR exist there, The US has/had by treaty(un-ratified) the rights to build, maintain and use a railway big enough to haul SHIPS across there, and from 1907 until the opening of the Panama canal in 1914 actually DID do so. It would/could create a Jobs/Manufacturing/Industrial/Economic mecca for/in Mexico, curtail migrations, relieve port pressures in both Panama and The USA, Pipelines could be part of the project as well. 120-130 miles is SHORT!, could actually be completed in a correspondingly short time.

Anyone think he will really see the flow of illegals? One theory is he will stay on the plane as it heads south and simply look out the window at the mess.

He’s going there to make a historic speech which will end with, “Mr. Trump, tear down this wall!”

President Biden has started taking a three week course to learn how to say “I love you Dr. Jill” and “What do I do next? ” in Spanish.

One simply must have one's priorities straight. Vacation in the Bahamas first, only then see that border thing the hoi polloi keep harping about.

A good humanitarian photo opportunity would consist of Biden handing out breakfast burritos and cups of hot coffee to illegal aliens (future leftist Democrat supporters and voters) as they appear out of the Rio Grande River.

Rumblings from DC that Kamala is about to be booted from the 2024 ticket.
Joe travels to the border, declares a disaster and blames Kammie.
Works for me.

Biteme will visit the border, but what border might that be? The border between Delaware and Pa.? If he happens to visit the southern border of the U.S., it will be from 25000 feet while flying in AF1.
