In Against the Great Reset, Harry Stein asks how the Left has managed to subvert the culture and trample so effectively upon the fundamental concepts of decency, equality, justice, morality, and even human biology itself, not to mention humor and modesty. The answer may be found not only in policy and power wielded from the top but also in the gradual saturation of the public mind with a vast set of implicit assumptions regarding what constitutes enlightened societal advancement. In other words, a large part of the answer is the Left’s near-absolute domination of mass popular culture — music, film, sports, news media, entertainment, and so on — all infused

He's very right. I can't watch a commercial without being preached at and the ads are very, very woke.

Today's advertising is almost 100% Woke. It all wants to make me retch.
The mute is the most used feature on my TV. I watch only public affairs programming today and even those commercials are leftist political messages to corrupt our culture. I never, ever watch commercials. Never!

The media is completely designed to do one thing - make money. Much effort is put into overt and subliminal messages. Everything is packaged for a reason.

Based upon the ads I have seen, our fellow black citizens are the ones truly driving this economy.

It's even worse after the passage of Biden's supposedly Equity Incentive packages as we, the taxpayers are providing funds to promote minorities in advertising including splashy ads for vehicles and drugs. Every time I see one I groan just thinking how I helped pay for it while the liberals continue to rant how conservatives are killing democracy.

Since so many of these ads clash with the reality we are seeing daily on the local news, see out on the streets, etc. I just take the propaganda element away, remember the sponsor and find other alternatives.

I very rarely watch TV, when I do it is sports related. However, I use the DVR to record the shows because I detest the commercials. When I can't record the shows sometimes for a variety of reasons, the commercials I have seen are all of a kind. They last too long, they are repetitive, they are woke and leftist, the females are dominant, and when a white male is seen he is always presented as deficient and typically the minority, or the woman, abuses him either verbally or physically. I fast forward through the damn commercials.

Companies do what presumably sells the products. While society cheers social progress, there are those who "don't watch". When the progs see some social faux pas they bully with boycotts and other business disruption. And what are those offended by the "propaganda" of mixed or homosexual marriages going to write? The companies will put those morality letters in File 13...they're not in line with mainstream, lowest common denominator public opinion. Think the NFL suffered for their sins? Uh, no.
The world isn't going back to 1950s social standards. Until conservatives have an actual agenda that's more than turning back the clock they're plainly whizzing into the wind.

I’ve noticed that these commercials usually “involve an almost exclusive proportion of mixed marriages”
Where is BLM when these wokesters try to subvert the black race and dilute its bloodlines with the genes of its former masters? Aren’t black women good enough for black men? Do black men not fulfill the needs and desires of black women?
Seems like the ultimate racism to suggest blacks ought to marry whites to improve society.

I inevitably apply a quick calculation of the applicable percentage of the population to what's being portrayed.
and how come an overwhelming percentage of mixed marriage portrayals don't involve a white man?

It is astounding that, given our society’s justifiable concern about civil rights, there is no outrage about the systemic exclusion of conservatives from ten culturally dominating professions: journalism, academia, television, Hollywood, publishing, clergy, museum management, advertising, music, electronic media/technology. Is it any wonder that this employment ban is creating an absolute Leftist cultural dominance? The only surprise here is the passive acceptance of the collusion by all of society.

I have watched this b.s. progress since the 1990's when "political correctness" began. I refused to participate in it because it was/is stupid. I refused to go on social media because I foresaw how it could be abused. Forget consuming any of the entertainment products. It is all crappy anyway. They can kiss my rebel butt.

At our age most of the commercials on TV mean nothing to us. I don't purchase most of the products advertised. My feeling is that your product should be sold to the largest market out there to make profits. If your target group are homosexuals, then a company must not want my business. If your spokesperson is a rap artist, then sell you product to the group that he appeals to not me. I have a favorite alcohol if the target group is specifically targeted in a commercial then that liquor wasn't meant for me.
That's how we live so those eternal stupid commercials are not meant for us in our lives.
