The Senate on Thursday approved a $1.7 trillion spending bill with help from more than a dozen Republican lawmakers, after a fight over immigration policy nearly derailed the legislation.
In an 68-29 vote, the Senate passed a bill that provides $858 billion for defense, $787 billion for non-defense domestic programs and nearly $45 billion for military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The more than 4,000-page bill funds the government for the rest of the fiscal year, and includes more than 7,200 earmarks totaling more than $15 billion.
Senate passage sends the bill to the House, where Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to hold a vote as early as Thursday evening

#1, because they chose not to fight Goliath. They are getting their paychecks, retirement as are those bought and paid for collection of living former Presidents. The longtime incumbents know a huge crash is coming and it is too late to stop it.

As soon as I can get to the board of elections, I will no longer be a Republican. And it will take serious consideration for me to bother voting any more. Screw Mitch McConnell and the other traitors.

There was a time this would upset me but we are so far down the crapper now it no longer matters. We are finished. Our yearly deficits are now larger than our budgets were not that many years ago....

I am now an independent voter. Not that my vote matters any longer. It is survival time.

If we were still at a point in this country where voting still mattered (yeah, the LCS Party has taken care of that) I'd implore people in these senator's states to vote them out in the primaries. It is all for naught now. Yep, the Lie, Cheat, Steal Party has definitely taken care of any honest election in this country ever again. They and their underworldly minions in the media, academia, judiciary, etc.,...

I was not remotely surprised to find that my senator, Miss Lindsey, voted for this heinous monstrosity. I’m going to demand an explanation from him when inflation hits 15% by summer. FLG

we don't have to worry about Soviet Russia, Communist China, North Korea, Iran or any other country in the world being our enemies, our congress is our greatest and most dangerous enemy ... and .... the did it all because they hate our President, Donald J. Trump ------ a pox be on all their houses and may they forever suffer considerable unfortunate circumstances!!!

We need to drop off thousands of illegals outside the homes of the Democrats and Republicans who voted for this bill. Put the illegals in the schools their kids and grandkids attend. Jam their local hospitals etc.

The compliant republicans may have justified selling us out by thinking they are now set financially but they will be easy to find when the world goes dark and they have the only homes with lights on. I have a feeling that donations to their "party" are going to dry up to a trickle.
