As the lull before the storm continues prior to election day, the takes continue to get dumber. Republicans have begun a new round of dooming based on what can only be called a late vibe shift (i.e. not backed by real data), but Democrats aren’t exactly exhibiting confidence either. Enter Politico, which decided it’d be a great idea to drop an article about election fraud on the eve of voters going to the polls. Guess which party they think is going to try to “steal” the election this time and then try not to break your ribs from laughing so hard.

Another speech, another presidential-sounding declaration from Ron DeSantis.
This isn’t getting old.
On Election Day, at his victory party at the Tampa Convention Center, Governor Ron DeSantis celebrated with around 4,000 of his supporters as he cruised to a 19+ point victory for reelection over Republican-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist. In his speech, DeSantis gave yet another full-throated defense of liberty, freedom, taking on wokeism, and putting a stop to pandemic lockdowns.
He gave several memorable lines, with Churchillian overtones, and a clear and repeated message to keep fighting, never give up, and never back down.
While we all wait for the polls to close today, I thought I would circle back to a topic that hasn’t been generating as many headlines in the MSM lately as it did earlier this year, though there has certainly been activity taking place inside Congress and the Pentagon. The subject is the ongoing drama involving the Pentagon’s UFO investigation office, currently known as the AARO. (The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.) I say “currently” because that office has gone through a lot of name changes over the past 18 years, evolving from AAWSAP to ATTIP to AOIMSG and others, with yet another name expected to be announced later this year.
Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) is projected to win a second term representing the Granite State, fending off Republican challenger Don Bolduc in a key victory for Democrats.
NBC News and ABC News both called the race. The victory allows Democrats, whose hopes of keeping the Senate would have been diminished with the loss of the seat, some breathing room as they wait for answers in other key swing states. Republicans had long seen New Hampshire as a prime pick-up opportunity going into 2022, but Hassan maintained a solid polling lead
Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) was projected to win reelection against Republican Tiffany Smiley, avoiding an upset victory in what is typically a solidly Democratic state.
NBC News and ABC News both called the race for Murray.
Some polls appeared to show the race tightening somewhat as Election Day approached, fueling Republican hopes that Smiley could pull off a win against the five-term incumbent.
Republican J.D. Vance will win the Ohio Senate race, CNN projects, outlasting a stronger-than-expected challenge from Democrat Tim Ryan and keeping the seat under GOP control.
Vance's win is a boon for Republicans and a victory for former President Donald Trump, whose endorsement in the Republican primary helped Vance emerge from the contentious intraparty fight.

Four years ago, Beto O’Rourke became the next great hope for the Texas Democratic Party.
Starting his senatorial campaign as a little-known congressman from El Paso, he captured lightning in a bottle by barnstorming across the state’s 254 counties on his way to a narrow loss to Republican U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.
Though he came up short, O’Rourke helped sweep in down-ballot victories across the state, helping Democrats pick up 12 seats in the Texas House, two seats in the Texas Senate and boosting newcomer Lina Hidalgo over longtime Republican Ed Emmett in the race for Harris County judge.
Even before the race was officially called for Florida Republicans Ron DeSantis and Marco Rubio, MSNBC began losing it over the strong early results in the Hispanic county of Miami-Dade, which was a reliably solid Democrat county.
The devastation for the MSNBC panel set in early when national political correspondent Steve Kornacki went to the electronic board and showed that Senator Marco Rubio had an early lead in Miami-Dade County. This news received an audible shock from the panelists off-camera:

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has won re-election in a rematch against Democrat Stacey Abram.
The incumbent governor has been favored to win for most of the race, though the odds turned more heavily in his favor in the closing months. Kemp touted his record in his first term as governor as the reason he should be re-elected. Abrams attacked his record as governor and also pushed a more progressive platform in an attempt to rally Democratic voters. Like most Democrats across the country, she also emphasized the Dobbs decision at the Supreme Court and its effect on abortion rights.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) was projected to win his reelection bid against Democrat Joy Hofmeister in a race that polls showed appeared to be much tighter than initially expected. NBC News and ABC News called the race for Stitt.
Hofmeister had closed the gap with Stitt to a few points in many polls, with some showing her ahead. The Republican Governors Association launched a major ad buy as Election Day was just a few weeks away to avoid an upset.
Republicans had said they expected the race to be tight but for the incumbent to hold on and win.
Republican Anna Paulina Luna has defeated Democrat Eric Lynn in the race to represent Florida’s 13th district in the House of Representatives.
Previously a Democratic stronghold represented by Charlie Crist, who vacated to run against Florida governor Ron DeSantis, the seat became competitive following redistricting. Air force veteran Paulina Luna won the Republican primary with 44 percent of the vote, and went on to face a tight race against former the Democratic candidate, former Obama aide Eric Lynn. A poll from local researcher St. Pete Polls two weeks out from the election showed the candidates separated by just one percentage point
During an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison vowed that even if Republicans take control of Congress in the midterm elections, “we are going to continue to double down in terms of the efforts” that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris “are trying to make in order to improve this country, to give relief to hardworking Americans.”
Host Diane Macedo asked, “Now, Jaime, if Republicans do take control of Congress, how will you re-examine Democrats’ strategy ahead of 2024?”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Monday that the recent attack on her husband Paul will impact her decision on whether to retire from Congress if Republicans take control of the House.
In a sit-down interview on CNN's "AC360," Pelosi told Anderson Cooper that her decision "will be affected about what happened the last week or two."
The Speaker's comments come after her husband was hit with a hammer last month by a man who broke into the couple's San Francisco residence. She was in Washington, D.C. when the attack happened.

It seems we have the same scenario as the Presidential Elections!
Multiple videos that we received this morning show long lines in Anthem, Arizona with poll workers explaining that the Maricopa County machines are not working.
Instead of tabulating their ballot directly, voters are being told to put their ballot into a box under the tabulator so that their ballot may be tabulated at a later time downtown.
Voters are told to just drop their ballot into the open door seen below.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Monday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that the Republican Party is “yielding to a cult” and a “thug” in former President Donald Trump.
Cooper said, “The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, others have spread stories casting doubt on what happened, fomenting conspiracy theories. What do you have to say to them?”

Pennsylvania Democratic lieutenant governor John Fetterman’s U.S. Senate campaign filed a lawsuit Monday against state election officials, arguing that mail ballots with an incorrect or blank date should be counted in Tuesday’s election.
Plaintiffs have asked a federal judge to order all mail ballots to be counted regardless of the date voters pen on the envelope. The lawsuit comes a week after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that officials should set aside and not count mail ballots with an incorrect or empty date.

President Joe Biden concluded his political rallies for the midterms at a historically black university in Maryland, telling students they were “just as smart” as other colleges in the United States.
Biden defended the “historic” $5.8 billion in funding he budgeted for HBCUs as president.

A lone winning ticket for the record $2.04 billion Powerball lottery jackpot was sold in Altadena, California, lottery officials said Tuesday, making the lucky ticket holder the winner of the largest lottery prize ever.
The ticket was sold at a Joe's Service Center, the California Lottery said on Twitter. Results posted to Powerball.com similarly said there was one winner who matched all six numbers in California -- the odds of which were 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association.
The winning numbers, which were announced Tuesday morning after Monday night's drawing was delayed, were 10-33-41-47-56 and the Powerball was 10, according to the association.
