The most remarkable finding of the latest Wall Street Journal poll on the mid-term election is the yuuuge swing of suburban women toward the GOP since August:
The new survey shows that white women living in suburban areas, who make up 20% of the electorate, now favor Republicans for Congress by 15 percentage points, moving 27 percentage points away from Democrats since the Journal’s August poll.
That is one whopping move. As the Journal article explains, the shift isn’t just limited to congressional vote preference, but seems to be cascading down ticket.

I think he's right. COVID and radical sexual politics involving children in schools are the unspoken monsters in the mix.

It can be fervently hoped that the coming Red Tsunami will totally crush the anti-American, traitorous Democrats (it's treason to invite illegals from around the globe to invade America, and to decline to stop them, and to AID THEM, when they cross the border.)

Posters are missing just about every conservative; they don't answer the phone and if they do, they will never talk to a polls.
Pollsters are missing a significant portion of the population as the people know that pollsters cannot be trusted . Pollsters manipulate their results for their own political purposes. They either conduct the poll in a known democratic zip code or give the democratic candidatev plus 20 points in their internal calculations.

We women do most of the shopping. We know how destructive the Demon-Rats have been the last two years in causing inflation to skyrocket. Same when we stop to buy gas, pick up prescriptions, and anything else we do that costs money.
We are also Mamma Bears when it comes to protecting our kids, while the Demon-Rats are perfectly fine with grooming them, brainwashing them to doubt even who they are, and convincing them to consider mutilating surgeries. You don't want to get a Mamma Bear mad!!!
So, yes, we women voters will be a huge part in bringing about the Red Sunami on November 8th!!!!!
Finally, the Demon-Rats totally ignore poll after poll showing that the strong majority of women support some limits on abortion if no outright outlawing it.

What are the pollsters missing? They're not missing anything, they just lie about the results if they favor Republicans.

BINGO #6! They know what is coming, but they don't dare tell the Truth. So they go on TV ang give their "opinions" on how the Election will go, and everyone listening knows they're lying through their Teeth! As for the Women jumping to the Republicans, Yes, I can see that happening. Every time I go to the Grocery store and see the Eggs have gone up to $6 or $7 a Dozen, I think very bad words and move on. I have gotten very acquainted with Aldi where Eggs are still $2.50 a Doz. I think the only Women NOT moving to the Republicans are the ones that wear the huge, Black rimmed Glasses. The ones who think it's okay for Porn to be in the Library at School or the ones who still put a Mask on their 3 year old child when in public. But, they're not going to every change because they're also the one who are College Educated and Indoctrinated in Liberal forever!!

Beyond the obvious problems with the agenda driven cant of most pollsters I'm not sure they are actually "missing" anything. Ommitting social issues (except abortion) is simply one example of their agenda driven focus.
I think what is happening is that the frogs have finally realized the water is getting awful hot, and are jumping out of the pot. It is not one single issue that causes this, not even a group of 2 or 3 issues. What is happening across America is a flood of issues that the normally complacent public simply cannot ignore. Those issues are no longer "city" problems, or rich people problems or issues one can virtue signal over and then ignore because it really doesn't affect them.
These are little and not so little problems that everybody actually has to deal with, every day. One or two of them could be shrugged off as simple annoyance, but the tsunami of minor and major annoyances we have been subjected to over the last 2 years can no longer be ignored.
The pollsters don't miss this, the numbers show that. The real issue is that both the pollsters and the left wing organizations who run them don't understand what they are looking at. why else is the stock response to these results shocked disbelief and hand waving about "disinformation" or that old standby "voters don't understand the issues" claptrack. Immediately followed by a huge program to correct the messaging. Funny how they always want to fix the messaging and almost never want to fix the problem.

Not only missing the boat but the entire fleet. The people who refused to talk to the idiot pollsters will be the crest of the wave.

One reason those ladies are switching to the GOP is that many of them visit the grocery store every week and they see the truth about inflation.

FTA: "Although it may sound sexist to say, there is plenty of empirical voting research showing that women voters pay closer attention to local issues than male voters do—especially education."
Women and men generally do not share the same concerns on the same issues. There is a reason the term "Karen" has arisen in popular parlance. Same with "soccer mom". They really aren't concerned about "education" so much as their child having an idyllic experience and social growth within some notion of good values, like diversity and fairness. Boys who get too rambunctious get counseling too often leading to psychotropic drugs to calm the young beast suffering from ADD, etc. Back when, it was just "being a boy" behavior that Sister Mary Beatchaup could cure without medical intervention.
Suburban life is under stress. Less-desirables and foreigners are invading the safe space, and at home the bills are growing for gas, domestic energy, groceries and whatnot - leaving less for vacations. Urban craziness is invading those peaceful cul-de-sacs. Worse, suburban kids respond to the lure of the lowest common denominator. Being smart isn't a ticket to social acceptance. Tick-Toking and Instagramming is.
Now suburban moms aren't so hot on the Democrat vision of Utopia.
