Last chance for the GOP to save itself

Original Article

Here is a question for Republicans to consider before next week’s midterm elections: How far does former President Donald Trump have to go before the GOP kicks him out of the party? Put another way, will the Republican Party save itself before it has completely lost its soul? It has been deeply disappointing to see so few GOP leaders and Republicans in Congress challenge Trump’s takeover of the GOP. It has been equally disappointing to see so many Americans buy Trump’s “big lie” about the 2020 election. (snip) Trump continues corrupting the party of Lincoln

Comments:

I am so touched by the concern of this man who is also the executive director of the Presidential Climate Action Project. (End sarcasm)

A progressive on the cusp of armageddon for his party and causes. They are about to lose BIG and they know it. They "won", did what they wanted, what they promised, they ruined the country, and, finally, they are about to be held accountable for it. They are also about to face a whole class of MAGA Republicans that KNOW how to tear them apart. They know the games they play and know how to confront them, like Trump does. The progressives are terrified of MAGA because it works and, in so many wonderful ways, it shows the progressives up as the evil creeps that they are. So this moron wants to "help" us? By urging us to dismiss the most effective person to stand again their idiocy? Why, THANK YOU /s so much Mr. Becker. But we will chose to dump you and your insanity and work toward MAGA goals and, if he is willing, a second term for President Trump. Hopefully, you and your party are about to take a drubbing that will banish you from government for a long time.

And what have the rinos done for the country or the party? Not much. They mostly do for themselves. The election hasn't even been held yet and they are already sabotaging themselves. Smooth move ex-lax. Many of us predicted this right. The republicans will screw this up from day one forward.

Only the ideological morons in the Democrat cult would think that millions of Americans across the political spectrum are voting for Republican candidates just because of a person that isn't even running. They are informed Americans that are fed up with the open border chaos that is driving down their wages and the unprosecuted crime that is killing their children. They are fed up with nonsense energy policies that are driving up the costs of everything including transportation and food. They are fed up with the criminalization of the DoJ and the prosecution of political prisoners in violation of their most basic rights as US citizens. And over 50% of the country is fed up with the continuous gaslighting that idiot authors like this keep spewing about the legitimacy of the 2020 election when the evidence of their own eyes shows that the entire mail-in ballot drop box scheme was a sham and never should have been certified. Don't worry about our souls Mr. Becker, worry about yours once justice is restored to our struggling nation on November 8.

Take a hike Becker. Truman set the standard for how Gov should operate, i.e., every policy has to be in alignment with America first policies, A.K.A. "We the People". Quite the opposite of what this clown Becker states, we are doomed without Trump. Where was this guy for the 4 years Trump showed the way. Trump was the prototype that demonstrated that the professional politician pales in comparison to a conservative businessman with a genuine love for his fellow Americans and he proved it by his America first policies for 4 glorious years. Trump then, Trump now, Trump forever!

It's always so "good" to hear from RINO Republi-Can'ts!!!!! I stopped being a Republican in 2020 after watching Republi-Can't losers like this joker stabbing President Trump in the back over and over again. I am an "independent conservative" now. Don't get me wrong, I will never (and I do mean never ever) vote for a Demon-Rat, since they are all pure evil. But I will never vote for someone again just because he/she has an "R" after their name. We have enough of these RINO Republi-Can'ts in office stabbing us conservatives in the back. Nope, not going to happen anymore. I will support true conservatives like Donald Trump with my vote, time and money. But never another penny to the Republi-Can't Party!!!! Trump, DeSantis, Lake, Noem, Cruz (most of the time), and a few others are the future of the Republican Party. If William "Rino" Becker doesn't understand that, he might as well just go join the Demon-Rat Party where he clearly belongs!!!!!!

I would be more than happy to know for sure there were 81 odd million misguided citizens who voted legitimately in 2020 - much better that than the Dems stole the election. When reality kicks in a large proportion of this group will be switching their votes.. When the votes are illigitimate though, and the object is power, the count will always be whatever the Dems need to win. The problem with the 2020 election is that a serious investigation has never been permitted and a significant number of people (approaching 50 pct of the US population) don't trust the election results. So the important issue is not that Trump thinks the election was stolen ,it's that so much of our population thinks it was stolen. The msm editorializing by inserting "Trumps false claim" before every Trump quote about the election is not reassuring anyone either. What's to be done? Since it's more than likely the election was, in fact, stolen not much can be done about 2020. Biden's the president - full stop. Gotta hope the good guys have a handle on it now - we'll see Nov 8.

The only reason I believe the "big lie" is because Trump told me so. Sorry, that's wrong. I don't need Trump to tell me the 2020 election was a total fraud. I figured it out, all by myself. If Trump were ever to be intimidated or forced to concede the election, I would still believe the election was bogus.

Washington — A former Capitol Police officer who warned a Jan. 6 defendant about a post that said he was inside the Capitol building was found guilty on one count of felony obstruction of justice by a jury on Friday. Michael Riley was indicted in October 2021 on two counts of obstruction of justice and resigned from the Capitol Police force shortly thereafter. At his trial this month, federal prosecutors argued that Riley "betrayed" his oath by sending Jan. 6 defendant Jacob Hiles a Facebook message, warning that the FBI and law enforcement were planning to charge everyone who entered the building.
