I have never understood evil. Like everyone, I understand harm and suffering and readily deplore it inflicted on people who are innocent or vulnerable. I can understand violence when caused by competition for scarce resources impinging on the survival of the group or the individual. I can understand a misguided sense of so-called “virtuous” activism deriving from resentments whipped up by immoral people. I can understand stupidity and credulousness, however unpalatable.

Soros is Satan's spawn!
The damage he has done to this country is beyond evil. It is Demonic!

A thought provoking article. If men were angels we would need no laws, no constitution, etc. I believe evil of some type is inside most of us. Our duty is to deny it life and action. The 10 commandments are a good guide. That many often fail is no excuse not to continue to overcome it.

Anything not of God is evil and will be destroyed eventually. Without God, there is truly nothing worth living for. If there is no God, morality means nothing except to maintain public order and safety. Even the most primitive societies have morality rules in order to survive. Evil is anything actively opposed to God and His handiwork. Evil began with Satan and will end with Satan. For those that do not believe in God, evil is nothing more an incomprehensible abstract with no meaning or rationale. If God truly does not exist, what logical force drives evil? If evolution indeed be our cause of existence, then there is no evil, only instinct, which directs the animals.

Progressive leftism also called wokeness (though our female Army Sec. seems confused about it) is the best face of evil in our times. In many ways it is worse than Nazism.

How does evil exist?
First turn off the concept of right and wrong. We do that by tolerating everyone and everything.
Second, turn off the notion of consequences. We do that by not acknowledging reality.
Only one way to do that? By turning off the brain.
Turn off the brain, and anything goes. People don't think. People refuse to accept reality. We see it all around us. We see the results all around us.

Don't even try to understand evil. There is absolutely no point, no possible benefit to the effort.
Just destroy it, ASAP.

'The misery they create appears to be unprovoked and groundless.' I like this definition. Our pursuit of happiness as Americans living in the best country on earth appears to provoke Soros's wrath. He is evil.

It could be Soros' situation similar to the nerd that always is made fun of growing up, never respected. Once they get power they use that to get back at those people who made fun of them. Like the lefty tech nerds who decide to change an election using some of their fortune they acquired. I doubt a guy like Soros ever had received respect from anybody, or got accepted by anyone in his whole life. This is his way of 'getting back.'

"... motiveless malignity..." I thought the author, at first reading, was referring to Joseph Robinette Biden and his faceless puppeteers. George Soros fills the definition and shares it with countless others. I spent 11 years as a crime scene investigator, evil without motive is a thing common even among the un-rich and un-famous. Biden's puppeteers at least have a motive, a malign one but a motive...the destruction of America as we have come to know it for 250 years.

#2 - this is why I have never been able to agree with people who say "all people are good at heart, they just lose their way."
No. They are not. Christianity calls it Original Sin. Watch any two year old and you will see the general state of who we are when we are unchecked by culture/reason/faith/religion/law. The problem of evil is too deep to get into here, but Ive seen too much...heck, DONE too much of my own...to say "oh, well our/my INTENTION/HEART was good..." Life actually becomes a lot less difficult to understand if you accept that people in general are...in the beginning of any thing they do or say...apt to choose an evil thing...but most are people who have been raised with a good understanding and maturity to know that to make those choices will have unpleasant consequences.
People like Soros never felt the consequences of his actions. He should have been shot along with all the other Nazis that were executed at the end of the war. He was part of the Ashkenazi Jews, yet he gleefully turned them over to Evil. He was/is a sociopath and his actions will have repercussions for decades to come.
