The GOP always has to deal with the shaft they get from the legacy media. While the “Commitment to America” (COA) may not go as far as many conservatives would like, it does contain some broadly popular policy prescriptions. Because Democrats and their stenographers in the press know this, they will downplay the details. However, the game Democrats and the media are playing is easy to see in a recent poll of likely voters. In partnership with the Trafalgar Group, Convention of States Action conducted a national survey to measure how likely voters perceived the case to vote for the GOP made by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy when he unveiled the COA.

if there are so many people who do not agree with the repubs and the Commitment to America, it doesn't mean the repubs aren't getting their message across, what it does mean is the mainstream media is distorting or not reporting the repubs pledges, either 1.) not clearly enough or 2.) not reporting it at all, either one of which is wholly plausible because of the scurrilous and anti-repub, anti-MAGA media commies they are most likely to re-invent some of the false facts and false narratives which would completely negate the Commitment to America
= in short: people have to stop watching local non conservative outlets or national non conservative outlets, because and to use a line from Club Paradise, the matter is "all preparation and no H"

Re-electing Mitch McConnell or McCarthy as leaders is not winning. It is more of the same old thing.

Promise to erase everything that Joe Biden and his cabal of clowns have done since January 6th, 2021. It's all meant to destroy America.

The assumption is that there will be elections. I'm not so sure about that. Dems are capable of anything to stay in power.

Commitment to America ? Like it will actually get done. I'll believe the next one if this one gets done.

Here in North Carolina, the Democrats are filling the airwaves with political ads. Their sole strategy is character assassination. They televise nothing but hit-pieces on Republican candidates without mention of issues and policies. Their strategy is loathsome and vile. We just hope people are not gullible enough for it to be successful.

The setup - something really big happens sometime within the next five weeks to prompt congress to conveniently delay the midterm elections - an act of terrorism in the US coupled with a major stock market crash? Putie lobs several nukes into Ukraine? China invades Taiwan and mobilizes sleeper cells in the US? Germany attacks US interests in Europe in retaliation for the US blowing up the Nordstream II pipeline? Yeah, I know, seems like tin foil hat stuff. But then again, it's all about the deep state, the dims, keeping biden the cheater's bribes from the chicoms and Ukraine out of sight, and keeping Hunter's laptop out of the news cycle.

The only winning strategy is paper ballots with ID required.

FTA: "While the “Commitment to America” (COA) may not go as far as many conservatives would like, it does contain some broadly popular policy prescriptions. Because Democrats and their stenographers in the press know this, they will downplay the details."
Like the 1994 version, COA is mostly wishlist nonsense, boob bait. Of course, the Republicans support a strong economy with controlled inflation, the police and stern consequences for criminality, and secure borders. For example, COA's plan to curb inflation: "Curb wasteful government spending..." Really? Meanwhile spend more baseless money! 200,000 more cops (on whose payrolls for how long?) for starts. Oh, and finish the wall, of course. All while further federalizing public education through some "Parents’ Bill of Rights".
Let's all stand and cheer! Better yet, how about finishing up on the work contracted in 1994. Whatever happened to "term limits"?

The elephant in the room, so to speak, is the Republican Party's reputation for not keeping their promises such as repealing Obamacare. Meckler specifically mentioned it. America remembers the night McStain rose from his deathbed to travel across the country to dramatically deliver his thumb-down vote against repealing Obama's take over of our sovereign rights. The fact that such an important piece of legislation depended upon one vote from a vindictive and vile man lies at the feet of Mitch McConnell, the embodiment the Deep State. Failure to repeal Obamacare by one lousy vote, after making it the signature campaign issue, was the ultimate Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown. It makes one wonder if it wasn't the plan all along to really rub conservative voters' noses in the dirt to discourage our political activism. We weren't their cup of tea.
So now weeks away from a mid-term election with an imbecile president, a collapsing economy, an open border, a huge hurricane and possible nuclear war, the GOPe expect us to believe this time they are really ready to make a Commitment to America for energy independence, parental rights and the economy. It all sounds good, but its the people who are saying it that is the problem. Its the GOP establishment that we don't believe. It is vital the MAGA Republican candidates win their Senate and House seats. If the Repubs win the majority in the Senate, McConnell cannot be elected as the Leader; conversely in the House, McCarthy cannot be selected as the Speaker.
This is our MAGA election!

Focusing on the CTA is similar to a low level corporate manager presenting a plan without the strategy to implement it. (“if we can implement A then B&C will follow and sales will increase! How do we implement A? Will need to do a study on that!)
McCarthy thinks because he has presented it, the jobs done.
CTA is headquarters’ blabber. We need Generals to fight the fight, and that ain’t McCarthy and McConnell!

#10, A Congressional term limit amendment to the Constitution will never, ever pass Congress. Very few of them, Republican or Democrat, will propose that they be subject to term limits. The only way for term limits to happen is for there to be a Convention of the States that proposes such an amendment and enough states approve it. Many people who complain that term limits is a dead issue are the same people who denigrate the Constitutional method to enact amendments without going through Congress.

#9, and only one day for voting...NO early and late voting. No mail in ballots, except for the infirmed who have to specifically request an absentee ballot with GOOD reason. No ballot harvesting. And all paper ballots must have a verified chain of custody --NI EXCEPTIONS
