President Joe Biden’s Wednesday slip asking for a deceased lawmaker during a White House event left reporters at the afternoon press briefing with a question of their own: How could the president, who turns 80 shortly after the midterm elections, have been confused about her whereabouts? "What happened in the hunger event today?" asked a reporter in the first exchange on the subject, noting Biden "seemed to indicate she might be in the room," before asking again, "What happened there?" (Snip) But the response raised as many questions as it answered. Jean-Pierre was hesitant to concede that Biden had misspoken

I prefer they let him babble his nonsense and then wander around the stage like a cast member from The Walking Dead, with the outstretched hand ready for the invisible man. Any chance of new viewers seeing this vegetable in action is a good thing. No joke.

The kewpie doll (stole that from Ann Coulter) press secretary is from Haiti. French is the primary language there.
Is 'top of mind' a French expression? I have never heard it before this dust up about a dead congresswoman.
And as for the reporter who has thought of John Lennon every day since 1980 - get some help.

Another data point - why in the world is he insisting on using a handheld microphone while standing in front of a podium that's already mic'd? It's as if he's using holding the microphone as a trigger for 'it's my turn to talk now'.

It’s not his age, it’s his mental acuity. He has a well documented 50 year history of gaffes, lies and exaggerations. He lies like a Biden.

My dad is 80- he is sharp, mentally with it- coached a sports team this year.. he just got back from a drive to the coast. Granted, he doesn’t drive 12 hr days anymore- but he is alert and competent.
Joe can’t find his way off a stage- the cognitive decline is so visible- the world is taking advantage of our faltering’leader’

If you still have "questions" at this point, you're delusional. He's always been a moron, but his cognitive ship has sailed.

You got to hope that Biden does not have a declining cognitive ability hiccup when he is within reach of the nuclear weapons launch buttons! The fact that Biden is anywhere near the Presidency today is absolute proof that the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats will do anything to retain political power.
The people’s answer to that is to get out and vote in the coming weeks and on Election Day.

Sorry, everyone, but I see it differently. All this stooge is capable of is reciting what's put in front of him and he obviously never scans his speeches ahead of time. The lines were intended to evoke an emotional reaction but he's so stupid that he didn't even know what he was reading and completely failed to capture the moment. Had his writers prepared him properly he would have said, "Is Jackie here? Pause. "Where's Jackie? Long pause. Wait for applause. I think she..."

Re #2 - that reporter mentioning John Lennon is James Rosen now on Newsmax but formerly with Fox News (and also had his email and his parents monitored by the the Obama DOJ). He was mocking KJP's weird comment about "top of mind" as Rosen is a Beatles fanatic and apparently knows everything there is to know about he Beatles.

This only provides more proof about how sick and delusional democrats are. Every one of them. Gaffe after gaffe after gaffe by a mentally impaired president and they still make excuses for him. This is how sick and pathetic these people are. 2+2 no longer = 4, it equals anything they want it to be. Wake up already..

I know many people who are "79" and are as stable as most 30 year olds but this guy, because of his many years of boozing and babe'ing with fat boy ted kennedy and chris dodd became the crash test dummy for the study of advanced decline of mental acuity

FTA: "He had issued a statement mourning her when she died."
Correction: HE didn't issue any statement; his puppet masters did.

It’s not his age. Joe’ brain is gone but the Examiner won’t admit that. The author is just blaming it on age so that he can go after Trump for being only a few years younger than TaliBiden.

It's not his age. People in their 80' and 90's are still sharp as a pin. Problem with a serial liar like the bidet is, he also has Dementia, and he never can recall what pack of lies he just told or is in the middle of telling. But his lies are not new. He lied is entire life. I guess that's why during 50 years in government this moron could never come up with a bill that sponsored anything!

I don't know which was more silly, Joe's searching for a dead person or KJP's top of the mind excuse.

Joetard the Dotard has always been one of the dumbest people ever serve in my federal government. Now since instead of having a few screws loose all of his screws are gone. Yes I know I do not like the man but his rapid decline is so apparent that even Stevie Wonder and Ronnie Millsap can see it. To point it out is not being ageist as that doofus Sonny Hostin accused the right of doing on The View. I know plenty of people Biden's age who are still sharp intellectually. My grandma was still running her household well into her 90s. It's not about age it's about mental fitness and the Joetard is no longer fit to be sitting in my WH. Not that her was to begin with.
