A new show hosted by former Fox News host and current CNN host Chris Wallace fell flat in its debut. Nielsen Media Research tracked ratings for Wallace's show, Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, which debuted on CNN Sunday. The ratings show that there were 401,000 viewers, down 29% from the average, and 44,000 among those aged 25 to 54, down 64% from the average. Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy, a long-standing Fox News program that aired at the same time as Wallace's, received 1.3 million viewers and 78,000 viewers aged 25 to 54. Who is talking to Chris? More importantly is who is watching and listening to Chris? The answer is no one.
Bye Chris.

Gee. You mean nobody watches Chris Wallace. I coulda told you that when he was at FOX.
Now fewer people watch him. Heck, Midnight Sermonette in Fargo ND would outdraw Chris Wallace and most the CNN crew. And it looks like all the new chief there is doing is re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Well, except in this case, CNN isn't the Titanic. It's more like the SS Minnow.

Wallace is a liberal Democrat and the best thing he could do is retire today in Tampa, Florida!

What amazes me is that these cable news people make millions when they get less viewers than a billboard on an interstate.Where does the money come from to pay these people?

Chris Wallace is a tad too uppity, condescending and snarky - not to be questioned or doubted by his ‘unwashed and not-as-smart-as-he-is viewers’. Never regularly watched him - that trend will definitely continue.

Last week while watching one of the best Westerns movies in Unforgiven by Clint Eastwood I saw the commercial for Wallace's new show on CNN. I have to say I had to chuckle because I remember when he took over for the late Tony Snow on FNC's Fox News Sunday. That's when the show started tanking but they still had good shows on the channel like the O'Reilly Factor and Hannity & Colmes. He started to really go off the rails as with most news shows during the PDJT administration. What did it for me was his pathetic performance as the second democrat debater during the first 2020 presidential debate. I'm extremely happy that his show is tanking right out the gate as he should've went to CNN a long time ago. Who's talking to Chris Wallace? Apparently no one.

Well, I hope he fails at this new job, like he failed at the last.
He deserves any and all bad things that come his way. A thoroughly rotten guy.

Amazing how quickly Chris self-destructed. He had a pretty good gig at Fox News, then in December, he decamped for CNN+ and his pal Jeff Zucker becaues Fox was "too conservative;" Zucker leaves CNN under a cloud in February; CNN+ is shut down in Apri; and Chris' new interview show on CNN tanks. Chris has his own annus horribilis going in 2022 with three months left.

My take, other than Wallace can't draw flies, is that the so-called all important 25-54 demographic for advertisers is that the under 55 crowd doesn't watch TV news show. Of Wallace's ~400,000 viewers, roughly 10% are 25-54, and of Gowdy's 1.3 million, only 6% are in that demo. The only advertisers worth spending their money are Big Pharma shilling their meds to senior citizens and really old senior citizens. That's the demo that watches and probably the only demographic that still has a newspaper subscription...and cable. The under 55 demo probably streams what they want to watch for entertainment and get their news online. I'm 70 and I haven't watched a 'news' show, local or national, on any channel in many years, maybe even decades. Can get more info faster on the web and retain it better than by hearing it..

#18 has a good take on the situation. I will still watch some local news for the weather, local events., etc. We also never watch network entertainment shows...just stream what we like. We do watch Fox for The Five, Jesse, Tucker, Greg but almost never the straight news. Still get the little local daily more for the fact that I think a community needs a newspaper. Obits, local events and sports, etc. Then again, I am 80 years old and fit what 18 posted.
