For years, most of the media, the federal Justice Department, and other Democrats have waged a vendetta against Donald Trump, perpetuating endless investigations in search of crimes. So far, their efforts have failed, but that’s not stopping another leftwing loon from boarding the Trump Derangement Syndrome train.
Since New York Attorney General Leticia James, could not find a crime, she has promised voters that she would destroy Trump, and now since election is coming soon, she’s suing Trump and his family for alleged fraud for supposedly claiming their property was worth more than it is.

The dispute has to do with the accounting calculation of the asset of Good Will. For DJT, Good Will is based on his estimate of the premium people are willing to pay, for example, at Trump Tower.
The case filed by the morbidly obese, big momma NY AG/Linebaker, should be laughed out of court.
But given the level of corruption in all parts of NYS governnment, the case may go to trial.

Sad to say, but it looks like it’s not a good idea to have black AGs and DAs. They all seem to have chips on their shoulders and are put into office by George Soros. They seem to work for the democrat party and Soros, to settle scores. Am I wrong?

President in exile Trump is guilty of not committing a crime in this matter.

The AG also displays her legal illiteracy. She is not a party to any of these private contracts. All the banks have been paid back. The only person complaining is the AG, who can show no loss, which being the case, has no damages calling for a remedy.

Mr. Hellner needs to be more diligent in his research. Banks have indeed made loans without checking to see if the recipients could make repayment. Anyone remember the housing meltdown of 2008? And Mar-a-Lago is in Palm Beach, not Palm Springs. Having said that, I hope DJT wins this case, bigly, and Letitia James ends up with rotten eggs on her face.

She thinks oceanfront property in Palm Beach should be valued by cash flow? She obviously knows nothing about real estate.

Sorry for second post. If banks make loans without doing their due diligence, it's on them. From all accounts, however, Trump repaid his loans. So whatever method they used, it worked.

Billy saul estes famously borrowed money on nonexistent collateral. It is impossible to believe in Trump’s case the banks did not have very knowledgeable internal and external people looking at the issues. I wonder what the market value on the tax rolls was. We all know that you can’t get a mortgage on real property without a current third party appraisal.
If as someone said the issue is the value ascribed to the “Trump” brand or good will, i suspect that it is possible to get a third party valuation on that as well.
All these charges and investigations but never any evidence of wrongdoing. What is the crime and where is the evidence? Prosecutors, the burden of proof has shifted to you to prove this isn’t abuse of the prosecution process.

Letitia doesn’t know jack about business (or really, anything else). She is hoping to make these phony ridiculous charges stick by judge shopping for a fellow traveler on the anti-Trump train. It is a last ditch effort to save her flailing campaign for re-election. It’s anyone’s guess whether it will work. We are talking about some really, really stupid voters.

Allow me to sort out the facts here.
DJT's corporation was borrowing the money, and DJT, himself, was co-signing on the loans. That required him to show his assets and probable income stream over the life of the loan.
The Trump name, by itself, has value. Some of the properties known as Trump are owned by someone else, but they purchased the use of his name. The value of his name, good will, would be subject to assessment by the bank.
The housiong meltdown of 2008 was caused by the federal courts and the practices of government agencies. Banks were placed under enormous pressure to grant mortgages to minorities, reinforced by federal court decisions which went against banks by looking at loan application rejection rates by race, rather than looking at loan defaults by race.
And when the federal agencies bundled bad loans with good ones, and sold them worldwide, that caused the housing bust.
Billy Sol Estes was pulling a scam on lenders, by juicing his cooking oils being held in NJ in large towers. He would fill the tower (or holding tank) with water, almost to the top, then he would float a small amount of cooking oil on top, claiming the entire tank was full of cooking oil. The cooking oil was offered as collateral for the loan.

Time to hire investigators to dig into this woman's past and put all her dirty laundry on social media. Make her live by her own rules.
