It’s getting harder and harder not to abandon faith in the institutions we once regarded as respectable and relied on to keep the country moving. It is harder still to avoid rejecting unequivocally what has become their core governing premises, which seem to be entirely different from what we once believed them to be.
So here goes: the entire “climate crisis” is an opportunistic hoax; the entire “equity” (along with “diversity” and “inclusion”) movement is a corrupt fraud. This hoax and this fraud have permeated and overwhelmed every formerly respectable sector of American life, with disastrous consequences we’ve only just begun to feel.

California's statewide teachers union undermined White House talking points that redirect blame to Republicans for COVID-19 school closures that erased two decades of progress on math and reading scores and worsened racial learning gaps.
Public records posted by grassroots group Reopen California Schools show the California Teachers Association (CTA) launched a research effort in spring 2021, in coordination with allied parents, to sniff out the "ideological leaning" of funding sources for the Parent Association, which had sued to reopen schools that February.

Amazon's (AMZN) new "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" series has a bit of a PR problem.
Despite nabbing more than 25 million viewers in its first day on Amazon Prime Video — the best performance for an Amazon original ever, according to the company — the eight-episode season has been hit with a slew of negative reviews, including a much-talked about jab from Elon Musk.(snip) Musk's tweets come as Amazon suspended user reviews for a reported 72 hours amid supposed "review-bombing," a practice where online users purposely hammer a show with negative reviews, largely due to cultural or political issues rather than actual quality.

Boston—Attorney General Maura Healey won the Democratic primary for Massachusetts governor on Tuesday, bringing her one step closer to becoming the first openly gay candidate and first woman elected to the state’s top political office—eight years after she was elected the nation’s first openly gay attorney general. Healey, whose only rival for the nomination dropped out of the race but remained on the ballot, will be the heavy favorite in November against the winner of the Republican primary. Former state Rep. Geoff Diehl, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, and businessman Chris Doughty, who is considered more moderate, are running for the GOP nomination.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had a clap ready Tuesday after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz invited her to visit the southern border after her comment last week that migrants weren't 'walking' into the country.
Jean-Pierre, a former national spokeswoman for MoveOn, said she had already been to the border – then slammed Cruz by tying him to Trump Administration immigration policies.
'So I've been to the border, I went in 2018. I stood outside facilities where the Trump administration was separating families, tearing babies out of their mother's arms,' she said.

Leading pediatricians in the United States are saying that some young children may need two flu shots this year after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted vaccination schedules last year and amid reports of a more viscous flu season in the southern hemisphere. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) put out a notice Tuesday that children between the ages of six months and eight years old who have received less than two flu shots during their life should double up on the jabs this time around. The two shots should be received around a month apart from one-another. It comes in response to faltering flu shot demand

The death of 34-year-old Memphis kindergarten teacher and mother Eliza Fletcher appeared at first glance to be a tragically familiar crime story in modern America - a classic crime of opportunity involving the random victim of a habitual criminal who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The surveillance camera picture of her in her Lululemon jogging gear on her last early morning run prompted the familiar warnings

Tuesday marks the penultimate primary election night in the 2022 midterm cycle as voters in Massachusetts cast their votes to settle each party's field and finalize the showdown that will be November's general election.
Unlike many of the other primaries that have already taken place this cycle, Massachusetts elections are tallied and reported by the individual cities and towns rather than at a larger jurisdiction or the statewide level.
While the live results below will be updated throughout the evening, Massachusetts' unstandardized means of reporting vote totals means that some areas won't report or even start counting ballots on the day of the primary with final totals trickling in

EAGLE, Colorado — There is something going on here in Colorado politics that is not much different than what happened in Virginia exactly one year ago: a shift away from the status quo and the odds-on favorite Democrat toward his Republican challenger.
Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., is seeking a second full term against Republican challenger Joe O’Dea. And the question, in a state where people tend to dislike both parties but increasingly favor Democrats, is whether O’Dea is independent enough to earn their vote.
Democrats viewed O’Dea as enough of a threat that they dropped $10 million into the Republican primary to manipulate voters into backing his “stop-the-steal” primary rival.

Donald Trump's former attorney general kept up his criticism of the ex-president on Tuesday, saying the evidence against him was clear and that it was plain 'wrong' for a judge to appoint a special master to review documents seized at Mar-a-Lago.
A day earlier, a federal judge in Florida gave Trump a win by agreeing to his request for a special master, slowing the pace of the investigation.
But Bill Barr blasted the decision and said it would likely be overturned if the government appealed.

Is that on sale? White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre received social media scorn Tuesday after she accidentally called Russia’s Nord Stream 1 pipeline “Nordstrom”—as in the department store. The slip of the tongue came as President Biden’s chief spokeswoman accused Russia of fueling an energy crisis in Europe by shutting down the pipeline, which supplies natural gas to large swathes of the continent. “What we see Russia is doing, we’ve been very clear about this, they’re using energy, they’re weaponizing energy,” Jean-Pierre told reporters during her regular press briefing. “One of the things that has been out there… they shut down the pipeline of Nordstrom 1.”

To me, the Democratic Party was the party of hope, tolerance, and opportunity. Indeed, those themes echoed through Bill Clinton’s speeches in 1992. Clinton’s presidency was the high-water mark of the post-war Democratic Party. He blended JFK’s idealism with Reagan’s folksiness. He embodied America’s middle class, the greatest political force

If there’s one thing that the far-left hates more than anything in the world, it’s a black conservative. Sure, they hate your average white conservative, particularly those of the MAGA mold, with a burning passion. Biden has shown that well enough with his recent speeches and all the hatred of those that don’t bend to the leftist view that they’ve shown.
But even that hatred is outdone by their utter despising of black conservatives, who they tend to view as something approaching apostates or traitors.

Unsurprisingly, the Democrat Party remains in denial about what it has become over the last several years. Once upon a time, a liberal could loudly proclaim themselves as standing for the “working man” without receiving four Pinocchios. That period has passed, though, and Joe Biden has apparently not gotten the message.
On Monday, he gave a series of Labor Day speeches in which he came across as deranged, both because of how he appeared and what he said. Things got so bad that he had what some are describing as a Howard Dean moment, and I think agree. Take a look for yourself.

The graffiti that marred the walls of Lake Street had become too much. This is a street that should be celebrated: for its diversity, for serving as an economic engine for communities new and old, for enhancing the lives of south Minneapolis. The gang tags and other graffiti ruined that image, business owners felt. And when they tried to clear it away a few years back, it would return the next day. The graffiti is "very expensive, very costly, very ugly," said Louise Matson, executive director of the Division of Indian Work, headquartered on Lake Street.(Snip)Murals are not only aesthetic; they can also build a sense of community

Joe Biden has made his obsession with President Trump known, most recently through his hellishly lit Mussolini-meltdown speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia last week, manically painting Trump and all his voters as "threats to the republic." He may be doddering and insentient, but he still burns bright against his potential opponent in the 2024 presidential race, which even Democrats don't want him to get involved with. On Trump, Biden's as obsessed with Trump as Stalin was with Trotsky.
So it comes to light that not only has Biden tried to smear Trump as a danger to democracy and "threat to the republic," in a sorry public relations campaign

Top Gun star Tom Cruise is flying high. He returned a drop of magic to the woke, toxic waters of Hollyweird with his insta-success Top Gun sequel. Long on entertainment value and short on pandering to increasingly irate bases, it was simply a great film with call-back messaging. Pro-America, pro-fun, and anti-crusading.
Now, Cruise returns to the big screen, as it were, to hype up his next film production, this time the 7th installment of the Mission: Impossible series. Cruise has long been known to do his own stunts – more on that in a moment – but this one truly takes your breath away.

A teacher in Ireland has been suspended from work and then jailed for contempt of court after he refused to use the correct pronouns to address a transgender student. Enoch Burke was arrested on Monday for violating a court order barring him from teaching at Wilson’s Hospital School in Westmeath, or even being present there, the news site RTE.ie reported. Judge Michael Quinn found Burke guilty of violating an order made by the High Court last week and sent him to Mountjoy Prison, where he will remain until either he purges his contempt or the court gives further orders. The teacher remained defiant in the face of jail time,

Sources tell FOX Business that Pelosi wants President Biden to nominate her to become the next U.S. ambassador to Italy if the GOP takes the House majority in the midterm elections.
Biden is holding the spot for the speaker, sources say, which is one reason he has yet to fill the position since taking office.
Speculation earlier this year that a Pelosi ally and former Wall Street executive wanted the job has shifted with the increasing likelihood that the GOP takes the majority. There was no clarity yet on how a new Senate will react to a Pelosi nomination

Nuclear power, once shunned by many Democrats and environmentalists, is gaining acceptance among the party and activists as a clean alternative to fossil fuels amid soaring energy costs and a sluggish transition to renewables. Proponents argue that the carbon-free energy source is clean and affordable, can be generated around the clock and is already prevalent. Wind and solar power, meanwhile, are intermittent and hamstrung by limited battery storage capabilities.
“There’s been a slow progression, but sufficient modeling that has been done has convinced a lot of people in the environmental community, certainly around the importance of preserving the existing fleet,” said Doug Vine, director of energy analysis at the nonpartisan

Pennsylvania lieutenant governor and U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman has not fully recovered from the serious stroke he suffered in May. His campaign has acknowledged his obvious struggles with “auditory processing” and speech, but the persistence of those struggles has contrasted with the campaign’s rosier predictions of a return to the rigors of campaigning, including debating his opponent, Mehmet Oz. If Mr. Fetterman is not well enough to debate his opponent, that raises serious concerns about his ability to serve as a United States senator. None of this excuses the antics of Mr. Oz’s campaign, which has decided that their

If there is anything that has advanced American society, you can be sure that ‘woke’ leftists will destroy it. So it is with Title IX – a one-sentence statute of the Education Amendments of 1972 that ended sex-based discrimination in educational institutions, opened the doors for women aspiring to become doctors, engineers, or experts in any field of choice, brought parity to college sports, and launched the battle against sexual harassment. In this fiftieth year of that landmark law, the Biden administration wants to rewrite it to suit the radical leftist ideology of gender identity and fluidity.
This is dangerous because it codifies the spreading gender derangement of the left.

Former President Donald Trump has predicted that the latest rounds of left-wing assaults against him will fail and will only prove that he “did nothing wrong.” He also took an opportunity to share some strong words to his enemies that are still trying to destroy him. This is a pretty epic message.

A California judge, the scion of a powerful Democratic family, granted an ex-con a mistrial for an alleged violent McDonald’s robbery because he was sleepy in court and couldn’t take proper notes, Fox News Digital has learned.
Los Angeles Superior Court Jurist Daniel Lowenthal, whose Democratic congressman father endorsed the city’s embattled top prosecutor George Gascón, made the ruling Wednesday. Vamazae Elgin Banks, 24, was on trial for allegedly pointing a gun at the head of a McDonald’s cashier and threatening to kill her if she didn't hand over cash quickly enough.
"Hurry up or I’ll blow your brains out!" Banks allegedly told the victim, court records show.

I am guilty, like many of my fellow conservatives, of complaining about everything that has gone wrong since COVID. That includes massive inflation, the loss of small businesses because of a messed up COVID response; supply chain problems; gas prices; the border sieve; the swallowing up of the mainstream media by Great Resetters and MASA Democrats (Make America S--- Again); the Afghanistan defeat and weaponry giveaway; the billions and trillions spent on Ukraine; the paying of people not to work; the Luciferian malignancy of CRT, DEI, and ESG infecting our institutions, schools, and businesses; and the litany of other complaints MAGA Americans get so justifiably indignant about.

In case you haven’t heard, the price tag for President Joe Biden’s student loan bailout is likely to total $1 trillion over the next decade. This is on top of the massive amounts of money taxpayers already fork over each year to subsidize college education. It’s time to ask whether any of this is worth it.
The $1 trillion figure comes from a study by the Wharton School of the student loan forgiveness plan Biden plans to implement. As part of the plan, he’d cancel $10,000 in student debt for millions of students, which will cost upward of $519 billion.

Earlier today, Judge Aileen Cannon granted President Trump’s request for a Special Master review of the material confiscated by the Biden DOJ during their raid on his home at Mar-a-Lago. Judge Cannon also ‘temporarily enjoins’ or forbids the Biden regime from ‘reviewing and using the seized materials’ pending the completion of the review.
This decision by the Florida judge enraged the lawless left who is accustomed to running roughshod over the US Constitution in their ongoing attempts to destroy President Donald Trump. Andrew Weissman, the former Justice official who ran the Mueller special counsel and is now a contributor on the fake news channels, suffered a meltdown following the decision.

Here Comes the Sun” is one of the Beatles’ great hits from their Abbey Road album, written by George Harrison at the country house of his friend Eric Clapton. Those were down days for George, and one of the song lines, “Little darlin', it's been a long, cold, lonely winter” might apply as much to George’s life in 1969 England as it will collectively to the upcoming winter in Europe.
The sun is shining these days as it is still summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but not for long. News stories abound for those paying attention. From Euronews, “European governments are scrambling

If ever there was a time when constructive criticism was urgently required, it is now, in the summer of America’s deepening discontent. One thing to criticize is that we are fast becoming an oligarchy, something hidden behind ostensible political battles that distract us, something Jefferson warned of 240 years ago.
Currently, the shiny object we are being funneled to focus upon is the Mar-a-Lago raid. We cannot take our eyes off of it, even as Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray tell us to stop criticizing our betters in government even as they shred the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Meanwhile, the RINOs tut-tut

A new peer-reviewed study found that regular use of ivermectin reduced the risk of dying from COVID-19 by 92%.
The large study was conducted by Flávio A. Cadegiani, MD, MSc, PhD. Cadegiani is a board-certified endocrinologist with a master's degree and doctorate degree in clinical endocrinology.
The peer-reviewed study was published on Wednesday by the online medical journal Cureus. The study was conducted on a strictly controlled population of 88,012 people from the city of Itajaí in Brazil.

In 2016, Trump spoke to tens of thousands, and Hillary spoke to hundreds...and Trump won. In 2020, despite COVID, Trump spoke to tens of thousands, and Biden spoke to...well, not even tens. Maybe to fives, all of whom sat in little marked circles far away from each other. And yet it’s Biden who’s in the White House. Now, it’s 2022, and once again, Trump is speaking to tens of thousands and Biden is speaking to tens. What can and should we take away from that?

President Joe Biden mocked a heckler during a Labor Day speech on Monday, accusing him of “destroying democracy.”
Biden spoke at a Labor Day event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, celebrating unions and warning workers about the dangers that “MAGA Republicans” posed to the working class. During his speech, a man stood up and began shouting, but it was unclear what he was saying.
Biden tried to calm his supporters, as Secret hService removed the heckler from the event. “All right. God love you. Let him go. Let him go,” Biden said. “No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No – don’t, let him go,” Biden continued. “Look, everybody’s entitled

Lately, CNN anchors and correspondents have been tweeting their real opinion about Joe Biden, Hunter, and the Biden administration; however, many people seem upset about the direction that CNN is headed. When Chris Licht took over as CNN’s new CEO, his goal was to bring CNN back to the center of the political spectrum and make it the go-to news network again. Whether you are a fan of CNN or not, the network needs to return to the way things were before — straight news and informing the public of the important stories that took place. On Twitter, for the last couple of days, we have seen people

Joe Biden keeps digging himself and his fellow Democrats a big hole with his continuing attacks on millions of Americans who support America being great. I get that’s a tough concept for Joe and the folks on the left who are used to hating America. But it’s not going over well with most Americans that he’s taken that tactic. As we saw from the Reuters poll at the end of last week, he’s at close to his lowest polling numbers for that poll at 38 percent approval. He also just hit his lowest numbers with independents in the YouGov poll. So if he thinks he’s appealing to anyone other than rabid Democrats

Following President Biden’s address from Philadelphia last week, Mark Meckler, president of Convention of States Action, has advice for Republicans. He wants party leadership and candidates to buckle down on messaging about issues Americans care about. “There are people who might disagree with me, but I don’t really want to hear about Mar-a-Lago and the raid,” Meckler declared. “That’s not going to help Republicans. If you make this an election for or against Donald Trump, we’re not going to do that well.” Meckler agrees the raid was horrible and intends to speak out about it. However, he feels it should not be the central issue
