President Biden made history Thursday night with the first prime-time presidential speech with a backdrop inspired by the movie “V for Vendetta” and Nazi filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl.
The harsh red atmospherics perfectly complemented Biden’s attempt to portray ex-President Donald Trump and Republicans as the Antichrist waiting to crucify American democracy. But the most important takeaway from the speech is the supreme hypocrisy of Biden’s Supreme Leader Democracy.
Biden, speaking from Philadelphia, invoked the Declaration of Independence to sanctify his spiel. But he omitted quoting the line most relevant today from the author of that declaration.

The Democrat party’s pick for Secretary of Labor says CEOs are being victimized by a shortage of immigrant workers.
Companies want to hire another 11 million people, Labor Secretary Marty Walsh told Fox News on September 2, adding:
If those 11 million jobs had to be filled tomorrow, we certainly don’t have enough people in the United States to fill those jobs … the issue of workers has to be addressed and the only way [emphasis added] you can do it is through immigration.
“When I talk to CEOs from companies all across America, they’re all in favor of immigration reform,” he said,

President Joe Biden delivered an address in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia on Thursday night--that the White House described as remarks on the “battle for the soul of the nation”--in which Biden advocated for same-sex marriage and killing unborn babies through abortion.
“MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards—backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love,” Biden said.

President Joe Biden walked back his attacks on Donald Trump's MAGA supporters, saying on Friday he doesn't consider 'any Trump supporter a threat to the country.'
'I don't consider any Trump supporter a threat to the country,' the president said at the White House.
It was a contrast to his remarks on Thursday night when, in a primetime address on the threat to democracy, he said Trump and his supporters were a threat to the republic.
Republicans slammed Biden's speech as divisive while Trump said Biden was 'insane.'
Biden toned down his tough talk on Friday, defending supporters of the former president.

“Clear and present danger” aren’t words any president should use lightly because that’s when the big guns used to come out against the First Amendment — and might again.
Set aside for a few minutes the vaguely Nurembergesque optics of Thursday night’s historically divisive speech by Presidentish Joe Biden so we can concentrate on the content.
“MAGA Republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger,” Biden angrily declared. “They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth but in the shadow lies together.”

The political equivalent of a kamikaze mission just months before the midterms. An angry, unhinged 24-minute primetime screed that corrodes the reputation of the White House. The final nail in the coffin of American unity.
Biden's speech to the nation at Philadelphia's Independence Hall was all of these things.
And it was horrifying.
I am no Trump supporter. I am no MAGA person. But I have met and know many, many people who are, my friends among them.
They are some of the 74 million Americans who Biden failed to win over at the last election. Then, he billed himself as the statesman who promised to work for them too,

It’s been more than a decade since President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, welcomed back George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, for the unveiling of their White House portraits, part of a beloved Washington tradition that for decades managed to transcend partisan politics.
President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, are set to revive that ritual — after an awkward and anomalous gap in the Trump years — when they host the Obamas on Wednesday for the big reveal of their portraits in front of scores of friends, family and staff.

Everything you need to know about the background construct of Biden’s speech against “MAGA republicans,” can be found in the silence of the approved republican who is intended to benefit from it. It is worth noting and emphasizing the specific target of this effort, lest the motive slips by while many are distracted by the outrage. Joe Biden, together with and in direct coordination with, the two wings of the DC UniParty system, is not focused on ‘republicans’ as political opposition and domestic enemies. Joe Biden and his various conscripts are focused on a very specific type of republican, the “MAGA Republican.”

Back in the 90s, at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the establishment media hammered home the proposition that the individual character of a chief executive didn’t matter. Whenever political leaders lose all political capital due to their misgovernance and have no real issues to base their campaign on, they often resort to focusing on the symbolic — usually referring to "the soul of the nation."
This happened before in the U.S., it happened in India, it happened in the U.K. and it happened again in the U.S.
This is most typical of the left.
Instead of being humble and conceding their mistakes, they attack voters for thinking of voting against them while overlooking the myriad catastrophes they presided over. They often blame their opponents for what they are guilty of — bigotry, violence — and then end with the "soul" plea.

Concern for Queen Elizabeth’s health has surfaced once again, as the monarch has decided to withdraw from attending the Braemar Gathering in Scotland on Sept. 3.
Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday that the 96-year-old’s son Prince Charles will make an appearance in her absence and represent her at the Highland Games event.
The choice to not allow the sovereign to travel was for “comfort” and mobility considerations, a source told The Mirror.
The Queen also recently pulled out of visiting London to appoint the newest Prime Minister and to say goodbye to former PM Boris Johnson next week.

Former President Trump insisted that President Biden “must be insane, or suffering from late-stage dementia” for his attack accusing him and his MAGA supporters of being “a threat” to the country.
“Someone should explain to Joe Biden, slowly but passionately, that MAGA means, as powerfully as mere words can get, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump, 76, wrote soon after Biden’s Thursday night attack.
“If he doesn’t want to Make America Great Again, which through words, action, and thought, he doesn’t, then he certainly should not be representing the United States of America!”

President Joe Biden (D) said the word “democracy” 31 times during a speech delivered Thursday evening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Biden’s remarks touched on the “dangers” former President Donald Trump and his supporters posed to democracy, according to Breitbart News.(Video) He stated toward the end of his speech:
I believe the soul is the breath, the life, and the essence of who we are. The soul is what makes us us. The soul of America is defined by the sacred proposition that all are created equal in the image of God. That all are entitled to be treated with decency, dignity, and respect.

Donald Trump is 'obviously thinking about' running for president again in 2024, his son-in-law and former aide said today.
Jared Kushner said Trump is considering a potential presidential bid because he 'hates seeing what's happening in the country'.
Kushner, in an interview with Sky News, said that his father-in-law had asked him about running for president again.
Kushner, who is married to Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and served as the former president's advisor, said that he would 'rather not go into' what the former president had asked him, but added:

Climate change protesters have broken into the British Parliament and glued themselves to the speaker's chair in the House of Commons, the latest in a series of stunts by activists.
The five protesters are from the group Extinction Rebellion and are demanding action on climate change. Two of the protesters held signs, with one saying, "Let the people decide," and the other sign saying, "Citizens assembly now."
Earlier this year, climate change protesters glued themselves to famous works of art to halt oil production and highlight the global food crisis caused by extreme temperatures.

Where’s the outrage? Bob Dole asked in the middle of the scandal-plagued presidency of Bill Clinton scandals. Voters, it turned out, cared more about prosperity.
But as U.S. politics has descended into tribal warfare, that blinding emotion has become the default position of both major political parties. Each sees the other side as more than outrageous – as threats to self-government itself. Democrats are trumpeting the upcoming midterms as a battle for democracy against their “semi-fascist” enemies; Republicans are largely running on the promise to investigate and punish the Biden administration.
Lost in this Revenge Play politics is thoughtful discussion about how to address our nation’s pressing problems.

When candidate Joe Biden promised that if elected president he would unite the country, did he think he could do it alienating roughly half the population? Or did he mean he would unite the Democrats and independents against the “MAGA Republicans”? Thursday’s speech clearly indicates what he had in mind was the latter.
Last week, Biden smeared Donald Trump supporters, calling them semi-fascists who practice “burn-it-all-down politics” and face “backwards full of anger, violence, hate and division.”

The Indiana Supreme Court unanimously ruled Wednesday in favor of Catholic schools under the Archdiocese of Indianapolis who fired a teacher because of his same-sex marriage.
Joshua Payne-Elliott, a former teacher at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, sued the archdiocese after he was fired in 2019 for entering a same-sex marriage in 2017, breaking the school’s contract that prohibits same-sex relationships, according to the court opinion. The court ruled in favor of the archdiocese, which ordered the school to fire Payne-Elliot for breaking the contract.

A recent top-secret cable sent by CIA Headquarters to its field stations apparently warned in stark terms of the loss of a substantial number of assets. In particular, the message focused on issues with the secure handling of sources and apparent errors made by CIA case officers that had led to the compromise of their sources. If true, this news ought to alarm every American, and drastic, corrective action ought to be taken immediately. CIA is taking a lot of hits these days. It should. Its leadership has gone dangerously astray and gotten involved in domestic political matters which should never be the province of a foreign intelligence organization.

The bureau surveilled Page under a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant in a process during which they concealed exculpatory evidence against him, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz found in his 2019 report, per the Washington Examiner.
Judge Dabney Friedrich, in a Thursday ruling, dismissed the suit.

I usually prefer to stay away from the ancillary stuff, but the remarks by Joe Biden today were not normal, not even close. (snip) These are not modified images or changes in presentation; they are exactly what was broadcast to the nation. It looks straight up evil. Like something out of a hellscape theatrical production intended to showcase Baal as the “soul of the nation.” (snip) I have never seen anything even close to this in a presidential address. Beyond creepy.

California Democrats in the State Assembly and State Senate have advanced legislation that would make the state a sanctuary where out-of-state parents can take their children to undergo sex change procedures. On Monday, the legislative body passed Senate Bill (SB) 107 along party lines, with all 19 Republican assemblymembers voting against it and 60 Democrats supporting it. State Senator Scott Weiner introduced the bill, and a release from his office asserted it would “provide refuge for trans kids and their families.”

President Joe Biden thinks millions of Americans are part fascist and borderline terrorists. It would be laughable if it weren't so disturbing. Having worn out the label of 'racist,' which Biden and his political allies have applied to just about any political opponent, the dotard president has moved on to new baseless and dangerous insults.
Last week, while campaigning amid stunningly negative poll ratings, Biden remarked in Maryland: 'It's not just [Donald] Trump, it's the entire philosophy that underpins the — I'm going to say something — it's like semi-fascism.'
That's quite the rebuke of the tens of millions of Americans who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020

Jean-Pierre sowed her fate when she immediately show back: “No. It’s not a political speech. This is an opportunity

OBERLIN, OHIO — On the night of November, 8, 2016, Donald Trump was elected president and the country was forever changed. But for my family, it was the following night--November 9, 2016--that our world was turned upside down and has never been set right. Late that night, my husband, David, came home from work and told me that there had been a shoplifting incident at our bakery, Gibson’s. We’ve been in business for 137 years, so we’ve had our fair share of shoplifters, including earlier that very week.(Snip)...I’ll be forced to declare bankruptcy and shut the doors of Gibson’s for good.

Joe Biden harangued and threatened the nation for 20 minutes on national TV on Thursday in a speech that will be remembered for its vicious rhetoric and blood-red lighting. In the highly partisan speech, Biden railed against MAGA America like there was no tomorrow—he used the words “MAGA Republicans” 11 times in the first 12 minutes. Some of the most-used words in the speech were: violence, darkness, threat, and politics. The most-used word was “democracy,” the Marxist-leaning crowd’s favorite term of derision for our republic.
But that’s all Joe Biden’s got right now. By nearly every metric, America is worse off than it was during the Trump years

When President Joe Biden delivered a prime-time address in Philadelphia on Thursday, the dark red setting generated a great deal of buzz.
Biden's speech, in which he sought to frame November's midterm elections as a continuation of his 2020 cycle's "battle for the soul of the nation" and portrayed MAGA forces, led by former President Donald Trump and his allies, as being determined to take the country backward, was delivered outside Independence Hall. Biden, who walked in with first lady Jill Biden, was framed on either side by a standing Marine and red lights cast upon a brick wall and American flags.

It didn't take long after Biden finished his rancid, combative remarks in Philadelphia for the reviews of the latest divisive screed from "Mr. Unity" to come in, and they predictably were not favorable from those among the 70 million Americans he declared were hatefully working to bring about the end of democracy: In addition to the caustic content of Biden's message — vote for the people I say or you're a fascist — the staging was also of note, and not just the ominous red hue that bathed the sides of Independence Hall. No, the two Marines standing at attention behind the president grabbed viewers' eyes.
