Signs reading “In God We Trust” are becoming more common in Texas schools as a result of a recent rule that mandates the exhibition of such posters in schools if they are given as donations.
Senate Bill 797, which was passed through the Texas legislature the previous year, requires schools to display the posters in a “conspicuous place” as long as they were “donated” or “purchased by private donations.” This has led to the signs being displayed in a variety of locations across the state recently.

Sources and notes detailing the last four days of the Trump presidency revealed that upon entering the Oval Office, newly elected president Joe Biden found a letter waiting for him from his predecessor, The New York Times reported.

When Warner Media merged with Discovery, it made the new entity Warner Bros Discovery. One of the biggest investors in that new company, now the parent company of CNN, is John Malone. Malone indicated that they want to get back to the “journalism that it started with, and actually have journalists.” That of course would be incompatible with Stelter, which is why he’s gone.But the word is they’re not done with the purge yet. And since he did declassify items, why is it an alleged crime now to possess those documents? I may have the beginnings of an answer.
It’s indisputable that the president may classify and declassify documents. The office of the president has had this authority since World War II. President Obama codified the executive authority to do it in an Executive Order. Even the Washington Post had to admit that.
Can the FBI be trusted? A Federalist analysis of agency lies over the last decade is an unequivocal no.

On Friday’s broadcast of “AC360,” CNN aired a report on Texas busing migrants to New York City and Washington, DC by CNN National Correspondent Gary Tuchman where an advocate for migrants denied that people were being forced on the buses and migrants who got on the bus said they were grateful for the ride.
During the report, Tuchman said, “Some people say it’s cruel, but this story may not be what you expect.” He then played a clip from an interview with a migrant going on a bus to DC who said she was happy.

Bishop Rolando Álvarez had been confined to his residence for two weeks along with five priests, a semanarian, and a cameraman of a religious televison channel. The Priests and cameraman have reportedly been put in prison in the Capital, while the Bishop is under house arrest.

Bulla Hagar, Kenya—The United States is stepping up to buy about 150,000 metric tons of grain from Ukraine in the next few weeks for an upcoming shipment of food aid from ports no longer blockaded by war, the World Food Program chief has told The Associated Press.

A new retail and e-commerce report finds inflation is affecting the shopping habits of 85% of Americans, leading most to reduce their purchases and feel unhappier buying online. I was not aware that utility companies ever forbade customers their silly pronouns and preferred names, but apparently Kathy believes this has been the case.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was asked yesterday about Republican prospects for the November elections.
“I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate. Senate races are just different, they’re statewide, candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome,” McConnell replied.
The media and others on the left were of course thrilled with the Republican leader’s “notable quotable” disparagement of Republican candidates and the voters who chose them, which somehow came off even worse on video.

In a shocking report, the U.S. Census Bureau recently admitted that it overcounted the populations of eight states and undercounted the populations of six states in the 2020 census.

North Dakota’s Fargo School Board reinstated the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of its board meetings after one week’s worth of backlash following the Board’s decision to ban the Pledge.
Since April, the Fargo School Board has been starting every meeting by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. However, the school board determined its Pledge of Allegiance policy violated the Board’s diversity, equity, and inclusion policies during an August 9 meeting.
The school board’s decision came down to the Pledge’s inclusion of the words “under God.” Board member Seth Holden said:
