A bug-eyed Joe Biden barely blinked, perhaps twice, toward the end of a choppily spliced video of an 11 minute long speech released by the White House on Monday that featured a subdued, sleepy-eyed Biden blinking normally at the beginning but ended with a suddenly changed, agitated, bug-eyed Biden after an abrupt edit. There are at least ten spliced edits in the video, some coming seconds apart, others minutes apart.

Chris Cuomo denied any wrongdoing in his first television interview since being canned from CNN last year over his role in advising his older brother, Andrew Cuomo, throughout the then-governor’s sexual harassment sandal.
“I never lied and there were no secrets,” the former prime-time anchor told Dan Abrams in an interview set to air Tuesday night on NewsNation.
Chris Cuomo said he learned a lot about himself during the scandal and lead-up to his firing in a clip from his upcoming interview.
“I have been obsessed with what happened, when what was known, and there are a lot of facts that are going to come out,” he said.

Just one-fifth of New Hampshire voters want President Joe Biden to seek another term in 2024, and his support within his own party has fallen sharply since last summer, according to a new poll. But likely Democratic primary voters in the key first-in-the-nation contest appear to show early signs of favoring an alternative to Biden: Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. The new Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, found that only 31% of Democrats want Biden to run again, down from 54% in June and 74% in July 2021. “President Biden is increasingly seen as

There is a multitude of remedies for digging an economy out of a recession or avoiding an economic recession altogether. There tends to be, however, a common thread amongst each of these methods. Since conditions that drive a recession typically emerge over long periods of time, it generally takes a comparable amount of time for our government officials and the Federal Reserve to correct our collective course.
If our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is lagging due to certain contributors, for instance, an injection of cash into the economy via government spending can jump-start our economy and push GDP growth back to the positive side of the ledger.

Yes, it is important for President Trump to have a well-credentialed stable of policy experts capable of both building a 2024 platform and finding solid MAGA talent to populate a new Trump Administration. But the AFPI Trojan Horse—whose leadership is now bragging about how it will staff Trump’s “shadow cabinet”—is decidedly not that.

Congressional Republicans are floating the idea of investigating Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Biden administration’s response to the COVID pandemic should they win back the majority in the midterms.
Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who is in line to become chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, if Republicans win the majority in the U.S. Senate, told The Hill that Republicans will attempt to get the answers from Fauci.
“One way or another, if we are in the majority, we will subpoena his records and he will testify in the Senate under oath,” he said.

A few days ago, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, speaking to the global elites at some summit in Aspen, surreally declared that the U.S. border "is secure."
It was garbage, much as everything else he says, given that more than 3 million illegal aliens with zero vetting have crossed into the U.S. on Joe Biden's watch. just as Rep. Andy Biggs pointed out in his excellent op-ed for Townhall here.
Millions of illegal border crossers, with a record 270,000 apprehended in just the last month, is nothing to brag about, and yet that was exactly what Mayorkas was doing, according to former ICE acting director Tom Homan.

There are few RINOs who have been hit harder with Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) than Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), save perhaps Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY). Cheney, as we've been covering for some time now, given her standing in the polls, is likely to lose her seat to Trump-backed primary challenger, Harriet Hageman. Kinzinger is retiring, after Illinois state Democrats pretty much redistricted his seat out of existence.
While speaking to CNN's Jim Sciutto on Friday, following yet another public hearing from the January 6 Select Committee from the night before, Rep. Kinzinger claimed that nobody would admit to voting for or supporting former President Donald Trump in 10 years,

President Joe Biden said Monday that Republicans who voted against banning assault rifles are not on the side of police in America.
Speaking virtually to attendees at the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives conference in Orlando, Florida, Biden said that Republicans who refused to ban so-called “weapons of war” are not telling the truth when they claim to support law enforcement. In particular, Biden called out Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott (R-FL) for refusing to support Democrats’ gun control efforts.
“Being a cop today is a hell of a lot harder than it’s ever been,” Biden said during his speech.

Attorney General Merrick Garland is set to appear for a rare TV interview Tuesday at a time of intense scrutiny for the Justice Department.
At least two major investigations are underway that could be areas of focus when Garland is questioned by NBC News anchor Lester Holt.
One is the far-reaching Jan. 6 investigation, which appears to be reaching beyond people facing charges for participating in the Capitol riot, extending to former President Donald Trump and his inner circle. (Snip) The other is the investigation into President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, as prosecutors weigh charges for alleged tax violations and for making a false statement

If I were Al Gore, I wouldn’t be going on television shows. I would be embarrassed to have been so ridiculous and so wrong over all these years.
But he has no shame, and any media that will still book him for interviews thinking he has something consequential to say also has no shame.
Gore took that lack of shame a step further with a disgusting remark in which he compared “climate change deniers” to the almost 400 law enforcement officers who didn’t respond for 77 minutes while people were being slaughtered by a gunman in a classroom in Uvalde, in an interview that aired Sunday.

On Monday, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot proposed a $900 million to $2.2 billion Hail Mary offer to convince the Bears to stay in their home stadium of over 50 years.
However, the Chicago Bears stated in a press release earlier this month that they wouldn’t consider any other offers, even for their home stadium, Soldier Field. The NFL team reaffirmed that sentiment to ESPN this week, noting that they were set on moving to another location over 30 miles away.
“As part of our mutual agreement with the seller of that property, we are not pursuing alternative stadium deals or sites, including renovations to Soldier Field,

Democrats inched closer to impeaching Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a man who has been the focal point of their unhinged wrath since the nation’s highest court closed out its latest term with a series of rulings that were devastating to the political left’s extremist agenda.
Thomas, an appointee of President George H.W. Bush and the court’s longest-serving justice has received the brunt of the fury because of what he is, a successful black conservative, something that is absolutely despised by a Democratic Party that is arguably among the most racist entities in America today.

Liz Cheney asserts former President Trump is lying about offering to call up 20,000 National Guardsmen two days before the Jan. 6 riot but comments by former Secretary of Defense Chris Miller and his Chief of Staff Kash Patel claim otherwise.
The Wyoming representative told Fox News host Bret Baier that former Defense Secretary Chris Miller rejected Trump’s claim that he offered to call up the Guard and said he never requested the additional National Guard be deployed to protect the Capitol. [Video]

Serial liar Adam Schiff on Sunday said the January 6 Committee will presenting “new information” linking Trump White House officials to the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers “this fall.”
Just in time for the midterms.
The Democrats have nothing to run on this November so they are using the January 6 show trials as part of their reelection efforts.
Americans are suffering because of record high inflation rates and soaring gas prices thanks to Joe Biden and a Democrat-controlled Congress.
The January 6 show trials are actually backfiring on Joe Biden and the Democrats.
Voters are tuning out the Jan. 6 hearings.

‘We’re going to build a different future with one — one with clean energy, good-paying jobs.”
That was President Joe Biden talking about the climate “crisis” and how it “is literally an existential threat to our nation and to the world.”
Right about the time Biden was giving this speech, the World Economic Forum painted a picture of what Biden’s future would look like.
Suffice it to say, if you like socialism, you’ll love it. Because it involves a radical transformation of our economy that brings the end of private ownership of things like cars, phones, laptops, and other electronic devices.

Walmart issued a profit warning Monday, cautioning that its second-quarter operating income would be lower than expected and would show a decline of about 13 percent. The announcement quickly caused other major US retailers’ stocks to plunge, wiping out over $100 billion in stock market value in after-hours trading. (Investopedia explains how after-hours trading works here.) Per Reuters:
Walmart’s stock tumbled over 9% in extended trade, and other big retailers also sold off. Target (TGT.N)fell over 5% and Amazon (AMZN.O) was down about 4%. Meanwhile Costco Wholesale Corp (COST.O), Best Buy (BBY.N), Dollar General (DG.N) and Dollar Tree (DLTR.O) each declined more than 3%. Home Depot (HD.N) fell almost 2%.
This comes as President Biden and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen continue to deny
