A $20 million proposal to put an abortion clinic off the coast of Alabama in federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico will not work, according to former U.S. Attorney Jay Town. During an interview with Mobile radio FM Talk 106.5 on Monday, the former U.S. Attorney for Alabama's Northern District said although the act of abortion, prohibited in Alabama by the 2019 Human Life Protection Act, would be committed in federal waters, the host vessel would still be governed by law from the state of which it had departed.

Exactly where do the Satanists that want to run this murder ship think that any state that bans abortion is going to allow them to dock?!?!?!?!?

The nutty left wants all the sex without the responsibility. But, they have many options at their disposal not to get pregnant -- birth control pills, other contraceptives, condoms, morning after pill, abstinence -- if abortion is not readily available. If they don't want kids, sterilization is always available too.

They'll dock in NY or NJ. run down along the coast and into the gulf. Or they'll run it out of Cuba.

The Murder Cruises can set sail, have fancy meals, then dump the "aborted waste" overboard " as shark food to have to avoid evidence of what happened during the mini vacation.

Good luck finding a close port that will supply the ship with fuel, food, and other necessities in the Gulf.

I live on the Gulf Coast and do not want this rediculous idea anywhere near or in our Gulf waters.

If it is legal to murder babies offshore then wouldn't also be legal to kill the crew?

Insurance coverage offshore? I’m not sure any plans cover elective procedures out of country. Immigration costs to check passports since you left the country for re- entry. Passports needed now when cruising or leaving country. Who will approve safety of gloating death barge coast guard? Who will provide transportation and cover liability? Emergency evacuation costs by helicopter for botched abortions $20,000-$50,000. So many questions be so many Stupid liberal ideas. Then there are legal issues.

This is an idiotic idea. The expense is too much. It's much cheaper to give them a free bus ticket or flight. This is just dems throwing a temper tantrum and coming up with their wacked out ideas that never work.

I wonder, does anyone have the original plans for the CSS Hunley?

No. 11, just talk to any Gulf Cartel. They have smuggling subs that are fare more advanced than the hunley was.

I think #11’s point is that the Huntley sank 3 times, killing everyone on board.

That would be a foolishly expensive way to circumvent the law, versus just having the woman go to a state that allows it. The idea is to run our noses in their evil, along the lines of how all states must perform gay marriages, and how the US government flies the LGBTQI+ flag all over the place.

How about putting all the dem leadership on a floating barge with a leak and tow it out to the Marianas trench and leave it.

FTA: ... the good arguments people on the left make. By good, I mean the ones that could be persuasive to folks in the middle.
Um, what arguments would those be? I can't think of a single good argument the Left has ever made.
What I don't get is why they think that the effort and contortions required to actually get to an abortion ship in the Gulf of Mexico is easier than just driving or flying to another state?

Is he right? What are the limitations on international waters? It seems as if anything were fair game, then there would be a lot more offshore vice than what there is now
