Consider the logic of the left and it’s no wonder that many people are considering the unspeakable – whether America will devolve into actual violent conflict. But I dare speak about it at length in my brand-new book We’ll Be Back: The Fall and Rise of America, which confronts this issue of systematic political violence head-on. The most important question related to the long decline of America at the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and terminally foolish ruling caste that controls our major institutions is whether we can pull out of this tailspin without bloodshed.

FTA: "The logic of the left accepts political violence."
It's not exclusive if one takes into account all the calls here for watering the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants and all the rest of the bravado expressed. Left or right, history shows that the radicals are willing and able to wage war on one another and those in between. I frankly don't see a mass civil war, if it comes to that, but guerilla ops on both sides mainly terrorizing those unwilling to involve themselves. In many ways, that may have begun. And when it explodes, assuming it will, the "logic" of the radical left and the radical right will be on deadly display.

Wishful thinking. The Civil War was a regional conflict. Today’s political divide is nation wide with neighborhoods having both patriots and socialists living side by side. Even California and New York have patriots.it’s not like both sides could form up and battle it out in the countryside of Pennsylvania or up and down the Mississippi River. The ballot box is our last best hope. Let it start with school board elections.

Lie-berals have been fighting a civil war since the mid-1960's. They have had so many victories in destroying what was good and right and moral in this nation.
Maybe it is time the conservatives start to seriously start fighting back!!!!!

I’ve been thinking that extreme federalism might work, where people could self-sort into blue v red states (or whatever criteria is important to them) and allow us to more-or-less peacefully coexist. But I no longer believe this is a viable solution. Leftists will never be content to allow others to live their own lives, they want to control everyone and everything. They won’t accept a diminished federal government in favor of states. Just look at the Dobbs decision. Six unelected justices said it’s not the federal government’s place to usurp states’ authority and that it belongs with the elected representatives to make laws regulating or legalizing abortion. The left has a meltdown and calls this return to democracy a “threat to our democracy”.

Yesterday someone suggested impeaching our illustrious leader and indicting him for treason.
What would that do for us?
President K. Harris, a fate worse than death.
If we got rid of her, what would that give us? The demon N. Pelosi.
If we got rid of her what would that give us?
A succession of fourth rate hacks, each worse than the previous one.
And an education department grooming our children into perversion.
And a CDC trying to kill us with poisonous "vaccines".
And an NIH using the CCP to develop new virals to kill us.
And an FBI which breaks the law more than the criminals it was meant to thwart.
And an IRS pursuing political ends.
And a CIA/NSA reading every word and listening to every thought.
And an EPA devoted to the destruction of American enterprise.
And a postal service hijacking ballots in a presidential election.
And...and...and.
There is no "fixing" this.
The ROT goes too deep. Trump didn't understand the depth and stench of the swamp.
No half measures will suffice. We're doomed.
Just sayin'

Well, eventually articles in obscure publications, Tucker monologues, and witty comments on message boards aren't going to be enough.

Basically Yes. I have said for many years now that we are heading in this direction. It will be like medieval times-the peasants against the royal or ruling class.

Probably not, but leftist violence will continue until met with violence. Inevitable. The alternative is capitulation.

#5...I'm not sure the ROT has gone too deep.
30-plus years ago the ROT in NYC was so bad, you wanted to nuke it.
Them we elected Rudy Giuliani in 1994 and things started to improve.
Trump is a nation-wide Giuliani. Elect his in 2024 and support him

A few years ago, Kurt ran a two part somewhat fictional series about the leftists, led by Hillary Clinton and the media whores, tried to overthrow the Trump Presidency. Quite involved; the VP's plane was shot from the sky, many Republican leaders were "arrested" and interned into one of the stadiums in DC. In this case, a couple of radio talk show hosts were able to broadcast the truth, a few holdouts prevented the White House from being overrun, and Gen Mattis got the 101st Airborne to drop into Washington to quell the insurrection.
Maybe it isn't as fictional as we thought.

The nation’s long haul truck drivers could shutdown the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats in the inner “Blue” cities by turning them into food deserts by all just going on extended vacations at the same time.

I do think we're in a Cold Civil War. I don't know what happens next, but I don't want to live in the radial leftist America.

I tend to think that #5 has the problem defined pretty well. Pretty much all of the bureaucracies are weaponized against the people.
Minor fixes won't make a dent. Whole agencies must be erased. And having worked in the EPA or CDC or DHS, etc. should be a permanent bar to any future government job.
I'd like to imagine that there is some sort of a way to fix this peacefully. but I can't see a way, and "the enemy gets a vote" is always a huge factor.
Just these few minor political setbacks has them hysterical and threatening violence. What will they do if there are major setbacks in their agenda? I don't see them going along peacefully.
I hope I'm wrong but history doesn't show us any examples that are encouraging that I can think of.
If someone has an example of a major political realignment in history that was accomplished peacefully, please post about it

Admission: Anymore when I see video of violent protestors or hear about leftists "targeting" conservative Supreme Court Justices, my first thought is "take them off the board." A euphemism, obviously. Not "prosecute," not "indict," because as we've seen, that will never happen. American justice is an oxymoron.
I wasn't always this way, but I doubt that I'll be going back.

This subject has been bandied about for several years. Certainly there are grounds for it, and enough pent-up emotion to instigate it. Think about it though... who are you going to fight? Where? The only place that makes sense is the hell hole known as Washington DC. Home to the most corrupt group of legislators in our nation, the great drain on our economy, and the holding area for unlawfully imprisoned Americans. Can't see that happening. We need to go to work to pay our taxes.

This country thrived when it was oriented culturally toward the divine. There can be no unity if God is not recognized as the foundation for the culture. We are not all of equal worth if we are not created equally, and until SCOTUS reminded us last month, we are divided, the powerful and powerless, the politically connected and those dependent upon those two legged pigs.

There is so much anger in society today and most of it is on the other side, but I don't know why because everyone and everything kowtows to what they want. I think there will be an incident, maybe a small one, that will be the stick that broke the camel's back. I think it will be a march on DC, possibly like the one on January 6 when they stole our votes.
