On Wednesday, President Joe Biden told television host Jimmy Kimmel in an interview that he is considering signing an executive order to protect abortion in the event the United States Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. This comes after a leaked draft opinion from the Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization showed the Justices poised to overturn Roe.
“I think if the Court overrules Roe v. Wade and does what its draft –”
“Well, we fear they will,” Kimmel interjected.
“Well, if that occurs, I think we have to, we have to legislate it. We have to make sure we pass legislation making it a law, that is,

Never stand up in court. The executive branch cannot legislate, and cannot overrule the judicial branch. Biden is just doing his verbal nonsense once again.

Oh, Biden may well try this. Damn near every President thinks their pens and phone can supplant legislative niceties and state right prerogatives. And Biden's leftist, baby-killing, supporters will cheer until 5 years later the Supreme Court in a divided vote says, 'No, you can't do that' and once again slows the million death-a-year industry. In the end some will sin while some will not.

It may very well not stand up in court. But this Socialist 'government' will simply refuse to prosecute violators.

FTA: “Americans across the country are at risk of losing their fundamental rights, including their constitutional right to abortion protected for generations. They deserve no less than a whole-of-government response,” the letter concluded. Well, in this case, they are getting a ****hole-of-government response. And he's perfectly comfortable with us losing an ACTUAL constitutional 2nd amendment that's been protected for centuries, not decades!

Anyone notice that the oaths sworn to by our rulers are completely ignored? Duly enacted laws that they don't like are not enforced and rulings by the court are ignored. No one plays a game for long when their fellow participants ignore the rules and make up new ones on the spot. They either refuse to play anymore or a fight breaks out. What will happen in America?

He's not king. His "orders:" are BS. State laws will not be affected by his damned "orders".

We have to stop this dictator power of a president. We have three branches for a reason!
I didn't like it when our side used "executive orders" either.

"Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Pretty cool, huh?"
And they accuse conservatives of despotism.

“Well, if that occurs, I think we have to, we have to legislate it. We have to make sure we pass legislation making it a law, that is, the federal government says ‘this is how it works,’” Biden said.
Uh, no kidding, that has always been the entire point about the Roe v. Wade decision; the legislative branch passes laws, the court doesn't just make them up with some ''penumba'' or ''emanations'' nonsense.
Biteme has been in the Senate since disco was a thing. Why is he just recognizing this, now? [incompetence]

RE #3, the abortion laws will be state laws, enforced by state prosecutors, this has never been a federal crime, AFAIK. Just the feds working to block state laws.

Good Lord. If you don’t like your state’s abortion laws, move. There are still plenty of states where you can kill your children up through birth.

Have you ever looked at his head? Photo with article. Not much room in that sloping thing for a full-sized brain.
Now he is going to “protect abortion”? How about protecting the unborn, Catholic Joey?

Executive orders come and go depending upon who is in office. This order will last about 2.5 years. So, hurry up and get your abortions now.

Those are only orders to the Executive Branch and Civil Servants. Means nothing to U.S. citizens.
The Big Bad Wolf is huffing and puffing his chest for all to see. Big deal.

So Bedamn is a "practicing Catholic". So would this make a difference to the supreme clerics in the DC area let him know that he can no longer receive the Eucharist? Or would they just thumb their noses at the faithful, scandalize all? An executive Order to protect abortion in the US? OMG! Ya think the USCCB would follow Archbishop Cordileone (sp forgive me) with a personal letter? I doubt it. Ptooey on Bedamn. The dems would love to do this.

Joe is evaluating the merits of Rocky Road versus Marshmallow Chunk Strawberry.....and nothing more complex than that. He reads some stuff on the screen or they won't give him his ice cream, but I doubt he remembers what he read for even two days.

How can POTUS the Head of the Executive put out an Executive Order or a Legislature for something that the Supreme Court has already declared unconstitutional?. Now there is a real coup d'etat!.

God, we could really use an archangel (Michael, if he is not too busy, would be great) to come down and read the riot act to the Dems. Many will not listen, but enough will. Thanks.
