The war on America's suburbs has opened a new front. Buried in President Biden's proposed budget for 2023 is a $10-billion bribe for suburban communities to remove zoning barriers to high-density housing. (snip) It is a strong signal to Democrat-controlled states to gear up the decades-long efforts to bludgeon affluent communities into submitting to "housing justice" and providing their "fair share." (snip) These efforts are being fueled by housing activists and progressive think-tanks like the Brookings Institution, which declared in a January 2022 article: "By some measures, the suburban counties around New York City have some of the worst exclusionary zoning in the nation."

June is the month during which we’re inundated with LGBTQ+++ Pride. You can’t get away from it. (snip) What gets lost in all of this is the day-to-day reality of the LGBTQ+++ lifestyle. In honor of Pride, I thought I’d share some of the realities with you, just to round out the experience. (snip) Bathhouses and orgies, through sheer volume, are not just impersonal, but depersonalize the men involved (snip) For lesbians, the problem is a different one: The death of the libido, something that, when properly and respectfully used, is one of Nature’s or God’s little gift to humans.

Something totally unexpected happened during MSNBC’s coverage of the January 6 show trial: The network’s preeminent star, Rachel Maddow, told the truth: that Trump’s rally on that day had nothing to do with the Capitol breach.
(snip) [video] I have to wonder if something else might be going on. After all, CNN’s new ownership has installed a boss who wants to shift the cable channel toward the center because its ratings are so awful. And while MSNBC’s ownership hasn’t changed, the latest ratings for it are disastrous

Hunter Biden is one of the most deeply disturbed, even revolting, people known to the American public. Yet Miranda Devine, at the New York Post, says there’s evidence that the person on whom Joe Biden is relying for political advice isn’t his wife, chief of staff, or former boss, despite what everyone thinks. Instead, it’s Hunter Biden. That would certainly explain both why and how our country is going so quickly to Hell in a handbasket.
It's almost impossible to exaggerate just what an appalling man Hunter Biden is.

“If you want to know who controls you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize.” Voltaire
The signs of decline are everywhere: violent crimes, corruption, riots, all with little or no consequences for the perpetrators, election fraud, medical mandates for vaccines that do not work. “Doctors put drugs of which they know little into bodies of which they know less for diseases of which they know nothing at all.” Voltaire All of this is part of the left’s grand plan to “transform” American society from the free nation of our founding into something resembling communist China.

Pete Buttigieg took questions on Sunday from George Stephanopoulos. This little man with the carefully tweezed eyebrows, sleazy 5:00 shadow, Alfred E. Neuman mien, and orator’s voice hid behind fatuous, hackneyed political babble even as he discretely revealed the hardcore totalitarianism that drives him and, indeed, drives the entire Biden administration. In many ways, Buttigieg is like a Stepford politician. There’s something eerily unreal about the man as, no matter the question, he responds with administration talking points rather than substantive information.

In Ukraine, a hundred days of warfare has passed and the Russians are still there, pounding cities, and not going away. In the east, they appear to be gaining ground in taking control of the Donbas. They still have overwhelming superiority of men and materiel, and the signals from Moscow say no let-up.
Yesterday, the Russians were actually back to shelling Kiev. So much for all that political tourism -- from Jill Biden, to Bono, to Boris Johnson, to Nancy Pelosi... The Russians also destroyed a major grain terminal in Mykolaiv. The ports for exports of Ukrainian grain remain blocked and land transport is gummed up

I have no gay pride. I don’t have gay hatred either. I simply don’t care very much. (snip) I bet most people, like me, dislike the annual barrage of mandatory love for the LGBTQ+++ crowd and especially dislike the industry that’s sprung up around confusing kids about their biological and then giving them expensive, mutilating surgery and toxic drugs. These same people almost certainly don’t make up NASCAR’s fan base. Corporate NASCAR, however, has decided to stand with the LGBTQ++ activists. (snip) NASCAR, though, has been having a bit of a problem keeping fans.

It's been over a month since Piers Morgan Uncensored was launched. Rupert Murdoch reportedly signed Morgan to a $63 million three-year deal and left no stone unturned in promoting the show. There were billboards and newspaper advertisements. Morgan appeared on Fox News and on all major shows in the UK. It was looking promising.
Then Morgan leaped straight into the gutter, pulling a cheap publicity stunt ably supported by his employers. Morgan claimed that Trump walked out of his ‘explosive’ interview because of his tough questions. He even wrote an exaggerated piece about it in the NY Post. The claim of the walkout turned out to be a complete falsehood

Almost everything in this world can be divided into two spheres: the image the public sees, and the underlying reality. (snip) The Democratic Party was associated with the Ku Klux Klan and segregation for most of the 20th Century. But in the 1960s it made a hard turn to the left. It currently claims to act in the best interests of the Black community in a noble battle against racism and White Supremacy. But in example after example, the Democratic party instead causes great damage and permanent harm to these same people that it claims to represent. The case against the Democratic Party is overwhelming.

With each passing day, the news connected to the COVID shots grows worse. That the injections don’t prevent COVID -- or even its spread -- has been known for months, and post-injection problems encompass almost everything that can go wrong with a body.
“Not a single organ, not a single bodily function, is unharmed” after one of these shots, said Arne Burkhardt, a professor of forensics at Reutlingen’s Pathological Institute.
So little has been written about why “side effects” such as myocarditis have popped up that one can’t help but wonder: Does anybody understand how these shots work?
In the space below, let’s pick three of the harshest complications

Patrisse Cullors admits she’s made a “few mistakes" as the ugly headlines continue to mount over her scandalous spending as the disgraced former leader of Black Lives Matter.
She attempted to keep a lid on her self-authorized spending for several years, but the IRS simply couldn’t be ignored for another fiscal year. (The group hadn’t filed since 2017 and was forced to halt collection of donations.)
Once the bad news broke in a public tax filing last week, (snip) she doubled down on the absurd claim of being cast in the role of “victim.”
