A young mother who was mown down with her eight-month-old son in Los Angeles by a 16-year-old driving a stolen car has told of her anger at the teenager being sentenced to five months at a probationary camp. She accused the controversial Los Angeles district attorney, George Gascon, of 'prioritizing the livelihood of rotten monsters' with his lenient sentencing, and added: 'George Gascon doesn't value my life or the life of my child, or any other victim out there.'

Washington—A U.S. Embassy tweet of a rainbow-flag-festooned message by President Joe Biden in support of Pride Month has drawn a face-to-face diplomatic protest from Kuwait and sparked a rare Twitter fight between the two close allies. On Friday, U.S. diplomats were doubling down with rainbow flag postings and statements in support of LGBTQ rights on social media. The messages appeared in response to the Kuwaiti government's official objection the day before to what Kuwait's state news agency called the “pro-gay rights post” of the U.S. Embassy there. “The United States stands with the LGBTQI+ community everywhere around the world,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said

Rep. Chris Jacobs is dropping his reelection bid after coming under fire from fellow Republicans for backing a ban on assault weapons.
The New York Republican said his newfound views on gun control would make a re-election bid difficult and divisive. “The last thing we need is an incredibly negative, half-truth-filled media attack, funded by millions of dollars in special interest money coming into our community around this issue of guns and gun violence and gun control,” he said in announcing his withdrawal from the race. Last week, Mr. Jacobs shocked many by signaling support for a ban on assault weapons. He also endorsed raising the minimum age

One of the teachers killed in the Texas school massacre may have still been alive while a group of officers waited nearly an hour to take out the gunman, according to a newly revealed 911 call from a student who saw the wounded woman. “There is a lot of bodies,” 10-year-old Khloie Torres told a 911 dispatcher while locked inside a classroom with the Robb Elementary School shooter, according to the New York Times. “I don’t want to die, my teacher is dead, my teacher is dead, please send help, send help for my teacher, she is shot but still alive.” The call was logged at 12:10 p.m.,

American businesses are increasingly emphasizing transgender activism in Pride Month initiatives ranging from drag queen brunches to books that invite young children to question their biological sex. St. Cloud—Islamic leaders here Friday asked authorities to investigate a possible hate crime after 33-year-old St. Cloud resident Musa Sabriye was found dead in a charred car Monday in the neighboring city of Waite Park. "What is critical is for us to know how Musa lost his life—what caused him to lose his life and if somebody was involved in taking his life," said Sabriye's brother Abdullahi Ali, speaking in his native Somali through a translator. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) improperly gave $10 million in Chinese coronavirus funds to illegal aliens in the form of stimulus checks, state oversight officials allege. As Breitbart News reported last year, Murphy provided the state’s nearly half a million illegal aliens with rounds of stimulus checks to the sum of tens of millions of dollars—paid for by American taxpayers—that was meant as coronavirus relief for Americans. Now, the state’s Office of Legislative Services (OLS) is accusing Murphy of improperly allocating $10 million to fund stimulus checks for illegal aliens in New Jersey, NJ.com reports: Gov. Dr. Anthony Fauci took a barely veiled swipe at former President Donald Trump and Republicans during a college commencement speech Friday—just two days after claiming he wouldn’t “get involved in any politics” related to the 2024 election. Speaking to more than 3,700 graduates of the City College of New York in Harlem, Fauci said, “It is blatantly obvious that we are experiencing a deepening divisiveness in our nation, fed by a flagrant devaluation of the truth.” “While genuine differences of opinion or ideology are part of a healthy society, increasingly we are hearing, reading and seeing outlandish statements and pronouncements propped up by deliberate distortions of reality,”

The fight in Ukraine has become “a war of attrition” and Western aid for Kyiv against Russia is more vital than ever, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Thursday, offering a grim assessment of the bloody conflict as it nears the 100-day mark but also expressing deep solidarity with the embattled government in Kyiv.
Speaking to reporters at the White House after meeting with President Biden, the NATO chief outlined a broad strategy for the transatlantic military alliance for the weeks and months to come. It’s focused primarily on ramping up arms shipments and other assistance to Ukraine to help repel Russia‘s major offensive in the eastern Donbas region

President Joe Biden took a dismissive jab at Elon Musk over reports that the mogul has a “super bad feeling” about the American economy. “Lots of luck on his trip to the moon,” a sarcastic Biden said at a press conference Friday when asked about Musk’s reported views. The president’s comments came hours after Reuters reported that Musk told executives at Tesla that he wants to axe 10% of the automaker’s 100,000-person workforce due to his gloomy view on the future of the economy. When asked about Musk’s dour outlook—as well as similar pessimism from JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon—Biden struck a more optimistic tone

The cop in charge during the Uvalde, Texas, school massacre arrived without a police radio and immediately made the call to “fall back” rather than confront the gunman, a new report said. Uvalde school district police Chief Pete Arredondo was one of the first people on the scene after 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos stormed into Robb Elementary School with an AR-15-style assault rifle last Tuesday—but police communication was chaotic from the start, the New York Times reported.(Snip)Arredondo had to use a cellphone to call a police land line to request a radio and backup, saying “we need more firepower and we need

Just as at Gay NASCAR, only banners celebrating Black Lives Matter and LGBTQI-pedo+, give or take Antifa, will be allowed. This is in the name of tolerance and acceptance (of centralized rule, which the Confederates, like the Founders before them, opposed).
