As we reported earlier, Michael Sussmann was found not guilty of lying to the FBI, despite the evidence that he was working for the Clinton campaign and that he told FBI General Counsel James Baker that he was not working for any client.
That raised questions as to how, given the evidence, you get a not guilty verdict in this case? Now, part of the issue may have been judicial rulings that hindered Special Counsel John Durham’s case to some degree, as I noted. The other part may have been you likely started out with an unfavorable jury, to begin with, in D.C., but then, in this case, you also seemed

OK, so let me get this straight. The jury decided that lying to the FBI wasn't really a 'big enough deal' to prosecute, so on that basis they acquitted.

I don't agree with the verdict, but when does someone at the FBI get charged with lying to us, the public?

And so it is. This woman has validated the bias of the jury. That is unforgivable. The truth is truth...she is a liar. She had bias before the first word was said by prosecutor. Woe unto this nation who mocks the justice system. Woe.

SOMEONE LIED...to the FBI, to the Public, to the Grand Jury, to THIS jury. If Sussman did not? Then clearly Baker did.
Baker then tasked agents to investigate specious claims that he KNEW came from the Clinton Cabal. The agents knew almost immediately that the claims were untrue, but faced with pressure from above had to double down and waste another year on them, using wiretaps, bank subpoenas, interrogations on several continents...even AFTER they had specifically asked to know the "Source" so they could ascertain what the locus, foucus and motives "Might" be? They were told, no..."Toooo Sensitive", which they assumed meant it came from DOJ, CIA, Foreign Intelligence Agencies.
He is on tape/text and paper saying..."I wasn't working for anyone", yet he BILLED Both Clinton and the Tech guy for the time, specifically for THAT time. Baker knew him , no WAY he didn't know who he was working for, not only was it in all of the papers, but everyone one in their social circle was well aware.
Baker needs to be brought up now for Lying in court, to his own agents, to the media, and Misuse of office.

I'm wondering if this trial of the ever-loyal-toady Sussman was just a warmup for Durham and that the worst is yet to come when he brings in the evil b-tards at the FBI and DOJ and hopefully THIS TIME he will seek a change of venue outside of DC citing for his basis the "jury nullification" that happened to shield this Demonrat lackey.

She obviously didn’t understand what was presented, what his lie caused, or she didn’t want to. And she made a point of saying it wasn’t about politics. Was she the mother of Sussman’s daughters crew mate? One of the Dem donors? My money is on one of those.

At the end of the day, The Narrative prevails and advances...the jury was nothing more than a piece of the narrative. As The Conservative Treehouse has said for a long time now, Barr was the Bondo and Durham the spray paint, and the wreck looks like new once again.

A jury making a political judgement on the validity of a case. Then ignoring evidence to find the defendant not guilty. Is a kangaroo court any different? The sad part is that we have come to a point in this country when this outcome was generally expected and not surprising.

This could be a mistrial based on the jury forewoman's comments. I think Durham is happy with the outcome as he got Clinton dead to rights. The jury forewoman's comments was just icing on the cake, acknowledging the jury was a stacked deck. He's got bigger fish to fry now.

I see suggestions that the government appeal the verdict. That is not allowed in the USA. After a defendant has been found not guilty, the case is over. The charges cannot be brought again. The prosecution does not get to keep retrying a case until they get the result they want. The problem here is the judge. The reports of this should be discussing the judge and all the ruling he made that damaged the prosecution, beginning with the jury selection. We should at least be given enough information, including his name, to know who this judge is and to remember this someday when that judge is nominated for a higher position. Make the judge carry this travesty on his reputation.

Is this the end of the United States? Biden and his entire cabinet are completely corrupt and truly a political freak show. Why the Chinese have not already moved to completely take over is truly a mystery. Bidens have received millions from Ukraine and now they are repaying Ukraine with billions. Consider Harris, Pelosi and Schumer. Would you trust any of these to feed your cat? Only God can save us.

Common guys, Durham knew what was going to happen. Thats why he didn't protest the judge, the jury pics or the venue. This is phase 1. He wanted this verdict and knew he was going to get it. Now that he can say the FBI wasn't lied to according to a jury..... let the RICO charges begin!!!! Comey, McCabe,Clinton and company should be very nervous!! They are going to have so many legal bills and headaches that we will need popcorn!

A not guilty verdict can no be appealed. And you can never be re-tried for the same crime, (double jeopardy). A judge can set aside a jury decision on a basis of law, this is a blatant case where that would apply. BUT, the Obama appointed judge is to busy doing the Snoopy Dance for that to happen. This was the slam-dunk. This was the linchpin. This is the end of Durham's case. So much for our once respected judiciary. American's keep waiting for someone to save us... Surely the courts will save us, or our free and fair elections. No, if we are to be saved, we must save ourselves.

So the question is: Who is the dirtiest? The Jury, the FBI, Sussman? I would say they're all dirty and corrupt. No one goes home clean.
Our political/legal/judicial system is broken, especially in D.C., maybe beyond repair. This nation needs a miracle if we are to survive this injustice and corruption therefore we appeal to God's mercy for our beloved nation to save us.

I may be searching for a silver lining here, but if Sussmann were convicted, the FBI would be off the hook. "These poor lawmen were just fooled by a man they trusted," they would say. But if the FBI and Clinton's lawyer were conspiring together, then wouild a simple lie on the record really be material?
A conviction would have ended FBI jeopardy. Now Durham must continue, or look like part of the coverup.
