The GOP-E is notoriously skittish about the Culture War that’s been raging in America. The GOP-E preference, we’ve been told, based on fairly indisputable evidence, is to manage the devolution of America into a Social Democrat utopia—managers of the Revolution. And they’ve been paid well to take on that role, so it’s small wonder that so much of the GOP-E were frankly appalled at winning. It wasn’t just Trump—it was all the deplorables coming out, getting involved, voting. The whole thing. That’s the story behind what investigations of Election 2020 are documenting—the coup against Trump was enabled in no small part not only by DC Establishment GOPers

This piece covers a lot of ground, including a good discussion of Elon Musk and Twitter.

I really wasn’t aware that the word “skittish” could be used in place of “cowardly”...

I’d like to hear Reich talk about the performance of Biden as president. Hillary says ‘Biden is doing a very good job.’ What would Reich say?

It strikes me that the Culture War robs something really important from young adults: the experience of going to college and post-graduate school and having NO academic freedom. Walk alike, talk alike, think alike. Never ever have an original thought that might go against the cookie-cutter narratives their teachers are spouting. And if you do, you will be punished, you will scorned, you will be threatened, you might be run out of school. Sad.

FTA: “ It’s all about the culture. They want the kids. Parents are finally waking up.” Andrew Breitbart was right. We are in the midst of a culture war and the country has chosen sides. Can you imagine the tour de force if Breitbart and Trump has been able to join forces? Andrew never backed down because he knew he could decimate their ideology with facts. He faced them where they were and was completely fearless. He opened many eyes to the truth and paid a high price for it. This article is excellent and it reinforces what we already know; without their bullying tactics, the left is nothing. We must keep pushing. Our own party is a big part of the problem and they have to go. I can’t help but feel hopeful with the little bit of change I am seeing now. Elon Musk just makes me smile.

Basically impossible to maintain an entrepreneurial culture when all the potentially fertile minds only think one way, China needs us to copy from.

FTA: "...the coup against Trump was enabled in no small part not only by DC Establishment GOPers but by the state party apparatus as well." Someone ask Wisconsin's Assembly Speaker Robin Vos about this...and start asking questions in those other FIVE REPUBLICAN states that confirmed Biden electors with no significant investigation of their "odd" vote counts in this unlikely succession of upset victories.

Masks fail their latest test 11 replies

The CDC just decided to continue the transportation mask mandate for another two weeks. Dr. Bob Wachter, Chair of the Department of Medicine at UCSF, concurs with the CDC decision. This doesn’t prove that masks work. Instead, it proves that the CDC, Wachter, and most mainstream scientists (who claim masks work) are incapable of differentiating solid science from a sloppy study. There have been only two randomized trials to test whether public policy using masks to mitigate the spread of SARS-CoV-2 can reduce the spread. (Snip) But the second one, in Bangladesh, claimed that masks worked. We challenged Yale Professor Jason Abaluck, the first author of that study, to defend their study.

Have you ever wondered why the corruption in the CDC hasn’t been exposed by whistleblowers? In response to my latest whistleblower request, I received the following message from a doctor which I wanted to share with you: I have had some contact with people who would fit your search - however, it appears they are unwilling to share information because of the danger of offering the information. We have a client whose daughter had worked for the CDC but refused to sign an agreement to withhold information. She left her job and fled to an undisclosed location in . The Washington Post faced backlash on Tuesday for what many saw as a bizarre job posting on Twitter. The Washington Post PR team posted a link to a job listing site to advertise for a reporter in Texas to track and document conservative culture. "Job posting: The Washington Post is looking for an enterprising reporter based in Texas to document life in red state America and develop a new beat mapping the culture, public policies and politics in a region shaped by conservative ideology," the Washington Post PR tweeted. Conservatives called out the post for appearing to treat Texas as a different country for its conservative lean. "Is this a joke?" opinion

We wrote previously about the Swedish study (University of Malmo) that concluded that Pfizer’s mRNA injections do, in fact, alter human DNA—reverse transcription. (Snip) However, here’s a video embedded in a tweet that features Dr. Peter McCullough discussing the implications. The video is only two minutes long, but it’s couched in readily understandable language. And it is stunning in its implications. What could be very interesting about this is that it seems these results are caused by the injections, rather than the virus itself. These are criminals we’re faced with:

Tucker Carlson opened his show on Monday night with the story of the mass lockdown in Shanghai, with more than 24 million people turned into starving prisoners in their homes, as the government adds in the singular cruelty of slaughtering their pets. This is ostensibly in the name of a “Zero COVID” policy, but that’s nonsense. The real goal is to bring the citizens of Shanghai to heel lest they start to pose a threat to Xi Jinping’s and the Party’s dominance. We’ve learned a lot about COVID since China released it to the world in 2019. It’s most dangerous to the very elderly and those with comorbidities.

In an effort to “honestly and respectfully” express how he feels about what is going on with the Disney company’s management, one dad’s hand-made T-shirt caused quite a stir at “the happiest place on earth.” (Snip) On the back, Geffers wrote “Hello Boys and Girls, Ladies and Gentlemen.” On the front, he wrote, “Walt Not Woke.” While he wasn’t sure how people were going to respond, Geffers said he needed to do something to express how he felt about what was going on at “the happiest place on earth.” On the first day, Geffers and the rest of his entourage went to Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
COVID Legislative News 3 replies

There has been some good news on the legislative front in the past week. But unfortunately, there are still a number of bills and regulatory policies pending that could change the very nature of a pandemic response worldwide. Policy that would allow public health to easily gain control of government during a bio-threat emergency. Policy that might allow public health to be weaponized for other purposes. What happens when emergency powers are written so that they can be granted for a severe flu season? Could we expect lock downs, masks, mandatory vaccination, censorship, propaganda and social distancing as seasonal events? What happens when there is civil unrest and these measures

Science is in its worst state since the burning of Giordano Bruno (1600) and the trial and conviction of Galileo (1633). The wounds it has suffered are largely self-inflicted. Science advances by questioning the current state of knowledge and by attempting to fill the gaps identified by examination of the germane data pertinent to the discipline. Any attempt to stifle vigorous—even if heated—debate is an assault on science. Over the past three decades dissent from what some consider orthodox scientific theories has been ridiculed rather than refuted.

Last week I learned from a neighbor that Donald Trump deliberately allowed the Biden-Harris ticket to win the 2020 election so they could destroy the Democrats with stupid policies. I also learned that only a biologist can define a woman from the now confirmed nominee for a not-yet-vacant seat on the Supreme Court who was selected by President Biden because she was a Black woman. (Maybe he had a biologist on his staff to help him decide this.) Speaking of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, I remembered that once again Democrats, including Biden, have taken credit for minority appointments

The Alabama Legislature passed a bill Thursday criminalizing sex-change treatments for children, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries. If signed by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, a Republican, the bill would treat the castration of children and other sex-change treatments as Class C felonies. Such felonies carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison for medical practitioners, Politico reported. The legislation would ban medical treatments done for the purpose of changing a child’s appearance or affirming his or her gender identity, including drugs that halt healthy puberty; cross-sex hormones; surgical sterilizations such as castration, vasectomies, and hysterectomies; cosmetic genital reconstruction surgeries; and removal of healthy body parts.

Viktor Orbán has crushed the Left, again. (Snip) During my time as a visiting fellow at the Danube Institute, a Hungarian think tank, I had the opportunity to interact with a number of Hungarian political leaders including the prime minister, and to discover what is certainly the world’s most important and most controversial experiment in Christian Democracy. Simply put, Orbán offers the most prominent example in the world of a conservative politician who has unapologetically and effectively used the state for right-wing ends, something that the American Right has been almost wholly ineffective at accomplishing, and is often unsure it even wants to try.

ROME, Italy — Pope Francis accused the West of racism Friday, insisting migrants are “subdivided” by skin color and country of origin.“Refugees are subdivided,” the pontiff declared during a lengthy Good Friday interview on Italian television. “There’s first class, second class, skin color, [whether] they come from a developed country [or] one that is not developed.”“We are racists, we are racists. And this is bad,” the pope stated. As he has done on other occasions, Francis compared the current problem of migrants and refugees to the flight into Egypt of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus when King Herod was seeking to kill him.

New York Times Op-ed on Holy Weekend:

The New York Times published an op-ed Friday that proposes eliminating belief in God — as one of the holiest weekends of the year begins. Titled “In This Time of War, I Propose We Give Up God,” the article claims that God is responsible for “war and violence” and for “oppression and suffering,” and suggests that people stop teaching children about Him. Author Shalom Auslander, who is disillusioned about his upbringing in a religious Jewish community in New York, argues (original emphasis): God, it seems, paints with a wide brush. He paints with a roller. In Egypt, said our rabbi, he even killed first-born cattle.

The Biden administration announced Friday that it would resume selling new oil and gas leases on federal lands – while hiking royalties that go the public when selling leases for extracting fossil fuel reserves in nine states. The Interior Department announced the news Friday afternoon – Good Friday and the start of Passover while Biden is away at Camp David, in a sign of the political sensitivity of the issue. It comes amid successive reports of soaring inflation, although the administration has stressed repeatedly that decisions on leasing primarily impact long-term, rather than short-term supply, and has called on companies to explore for oil and gas on existing leases.

Another day, another instance of President Joe Biden making stuff up, and another reason for Americans to be mortified. No, folks, this isn’t some sort of nightmare you’re in, one that you can’t wake up from. This is really happening. As is so often the case with the president, he went off-script again and just totally lied about his past.

New York Times columnist and – we’re constantly reminded – Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman says that inflation, which hit another new high this month, will soon abate. Why? Because, he wrote on Tuesday, “Lumber prices have plunged in recent weeks. Prices of industrial metals such as copper are coming down. Prices of used cars are still very high, but their surge has stalled and they may have peaked.” Oh, wait. That was from a column that Krugman wrote in June 2021.
