Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Mark Milley warned Tuesday that the “potential for significant international conflict is increasing, not decreasing,” during an appearance before the House Armed Services Committee.
During his testimony, Milley argued that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was “the greatest threat to peace and security of Europe and perhaps the world,” during his 42 years of service in the U.S. military.

Milley, IMHO, is an example of a woke general and therefore should not be allowed anywhere near leading troops. Your job, general, is to kill people and break things, not to get the troops in touch with their feelings.

They made a mistake. They've pushed all the patriots out of the military in favor of those who fit their demograhics, not the needed skill.
They now have a military that can't protect them, and all those patriots are out in the general population, where their talents and training can bolster the citizen revolt to come.
It's the Law of Unintended Consequences...

Wait, General, possible armed conflict that is a greater threat than climate change? Or lack of diversity?
We've never heard such stuff from you, General.

Our adversaries rightly see our "leadership" as being weak, and they are going to take advantage of the situation. Simple as that.
Let's go Brandon.

I agree with poster who submitted the article. The world desperately needs God's intervention. Everything just keeps getting worse and worse. In the name of Jesus, Lord, hear our prayer and let our cry come unto Thee.

How can we trust a word he says. He is a political entity, not a Warfighter. It must be hard for our soldiers to consider him their leader.

If memory serves, isn't this the general Trump called General GenderBender Milley? He has no business being in the military any longer. He and his bunch must be ecstatic that their long dreamed of fantasy of us getting involved with Russia could come true if they have their way. This problem in Ukraine is all on the DC swamp. After all, we didn't build it like Obama has said, but the Swamp sure did.

"Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong." - Ronald Reagan
That's a nice myth, but not particularly true. WW1 was three years old when the US declared war on Imperial Germany. The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and declared war on the US and Britain in 1941. The Communists overran SoKor in 1950. The US jumped into Vietnam after the French debacle to intervene in a civil war. Shall we go on?
US power didn't prevent anything and may be the cause of much trouble around the world, always in defense of "democracy" (like restoring the Emir of Kuwait or defending the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), or chasing some chimera (like WMDs). We use our titular "Leader of the Free World" as an excuse to get involved wherever and whenever we want. Run down the list of "conflicts" and let's ask who was afraid of US might. How about those "martyrs" who crashed into the "Twin Towers"? The evidence indicates at least part of their motivation was the infidel's use of the Muslim holy land of Saudi Arabia to make war on Muslims.
We need to heed George Washington's Farewell advice.

Those aren't blacks fighting in Ukraine they appear white to me. Is this the 'white rage' Milley was seeking out in our military. The bloated PX warrior, chow hall hound suddenly realizes he needs an Army and Navy which he just purged over Covid shots. An entire Seal Team gone, white rage foot soldiers gone how do you fight a ground war with CRT along with Idi Amin Austin. You'll have to put ya'll 42 years of knowledge on this one Milley. Those darn Ukraine Nazis and the Soviets screwed up your plans and started a real ground war. Call China to warn them maybe not Trump is gone from office. FGM

i wouldn't give Gen Milley the job of supervising kids mowing my lawn.
Didn't he say that the Russians would take Kyvy in three days? And now, he says it will be a protracted war?
That sure covers the bases. A brilliant military mind, right up there with Marshall, Patton, Eisenhower, Grant and Washington.

Actually it's a little reassuring that Milley said the risk is high. Pretty much everything he says about anything is generally (pun) wrong, so...

Boy, Milley is just so brilliant. Of course the potential for international conflict is increasing. When the US has a demented, perv dunce in the WH, an Affirmative action SecDef who is more interested in race than defense, and a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs more interested in wokeness than military readiness of course the world's bad actors are going to notice and take advantage of it.

It’s pretty evident that the top priorities at the Pentagon today, where General Mark Milley is the top decorated and politicized leader, are climate change and pushing “diversity” theories throughout the military. Those priorities given to Milley as primary missions by the figurehead Biden and his leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrat politburo who actually run the Biden Administration these days remain at the top of the Pentagon agenda, regardless of the fact that there is a very dangerous ongoing war in progress between Russia and Ukraine that could spread into nearby NATO countries.
Milley himself who never has won a war, appearing in his ill fitting uniform that is garnished with about ten rows of medal ribbons and other accoutrements resembles an old Soviet Marshal from the Second World War. Now compare him with General Dwight Eisenhower who was the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe commanding all British, Canadian, and American troops there during the Second World War and defeated the Nazis, and who even after that war was over only wore two or maybe sometimes three rows of medal ribbons on his famous “Ike” jacket.
When climate change and diversity measures are being staffed and are being carried out now, including bringing openly transsexual individuals into the US military, at the same time it is being recommended that the USMC be reduced in strength by nine infantry battalions along with losing all Marine armor and artillery support, with the U.S. Army being unable to recruit and train enough warrior personnel to maintain the current combat strength of the Army, instead of maintaining an imposing on the ground military, all the attention is being aimed at bringing LGBTQ and especially openly transgender individuals into America’s armed forces. I would say the military has big problems right now, that are going to run off a lot of on the ground experienced and highly trained combat Marines and Soldiers at the end of their current terms of enlistment as long as Biden or other leftist, progressive, or Democrat socialists remain in charge.

General Milley says, "As party of this illegal administration, I'm taking the opportunity to do everything I can to significantly increase the risk of international conflict." There, I fixed it for you. Thank me.

I guess the rest of the World didn’t buy into “woke” theories…hmmm….sometimes reality can be a problem..some countries aren’t messing around… You worked really hard for this to happen, didn't you ? ... a bunch of liars and workers of wickedness ... a small group of a secret cult running the world into trouble and wars for a long time. But more and more people are waking up to it. Pray to God for intervention people! In the name of Jesus!
