According to a report, “multiple” NFL teams have recently shown interest in giving former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick a shot at returning to the league.
Kaepernick’s trainer, David Robinson, told TMZ that five NFL teams have reached out to the national anthem protester to gauge his interest in being offered a workout.
“A few teams have reached out to me and asked how his arm looked,” Robinson reportedly said. “They have reached out and asked about him.”

"Multiple" NFL teams are interested in a 35 year old former quarterback who hasn't taken a snap in, how long now, 6 years?
Oh, that's the opinion of Colin Kaepernick’s trainer, David Robinson?
To quote the late Gilda Radnor's character Emily Latella,
"Nevermind".

It is good to start the day with a laugh. I hope this gets legs because it will be interesting to see how many fools believe it.

LOL! If they are "interested", they'd make offers. He was never that good, he's years and years older, and a serious, serious liability because of his racist hate rants.
I call BS on this.

The WSJ had an article about Colin yesterday - this is just a bunch of the "bruthas" trying to hype their buddy back into the NFL, thinking that everyone has forgotton that before he started his activism, he was riding the bench for the 49ers. He pulled a diva stunt at the opportunity the NFL gave him in 2019, so the NFL isn't going to waste any more time on him, but doesn't care if someone wants to hire him. Throwing passes to your buds is a lot different than throwing a pass with a bunch of linebackers closing in on you. At best, he'll be offered a one-year contract as a backup QB which he'll turn his nose up at.

I wish somebody (other than the Green Bay Packers, which in the interest of full disclosure, I am a member of the ownership group of that NFL franchise) would sign this blowhard and give him a chance.
And give the rest of us the chance to remind ourselves that outside of one decent year with the 49ers, this guy never was much of a quarterback anyway.

Kaepernick is sad that no slave owner will enslave him no matter how many times he tries out to be a slave.

Hopefully he will receive the Sackee Award for being most sacked player in NFL history!

Canadians have a football league. Lots and lots of decent American players do play there. Kaepernick should look into it. At least look into it as vigorously as he has claimed racism and the slavery attributes of the NFL. I wonder why he hasn't? Maybe his blame race game wouldn't fly there. Just wondering out loud.

All this interest in a player with absolutely no talent skills or ability to lead a team? Colin is no Tom Brady that's for sure. Take a knee and ride the pine on the sidelines, Colin. His arm? Hahahahaha!!! They need to be more concerned about the bruising on his knees since he spends so much time on them. Put the BLM tshirts away and find something else to do in your spare time. When was the last time you went to a black neighborhood and reached out to kids to play ball in the park, or help with their school homework, or threw a bbq for them? Ohhhhhhh.....never. I get it. Excuse us but your ego is just wayyyyy to big for your underwear.

As a 49er fan I can tell you this guy was over rated from the start. He had one good yr and took SF to the superbowl but couldn't pull the win out. He's not good at seeing the whole field and misses receivers down field. When he pulled his first 'take a knee' stunt he had been a benchwarmer and was no longer the 49er quarterback. He did this for attention. San Francisco has had great quarterbacks like Joe Montana and Steve Young and Colin Kaepernick wasn't even mediocre

Kaepernick is clubhouse poison and no team is willing to go anywhere near him lest he destroy team morale.

Kaepernick’s trainer. Now there’s a reliable source. Almost as reliable as his attorney Mark Galegos when he swore he’d have a ontract for Kaepernick within two weeks. How many years ago was that?
Those of us who were familiar with his performance in San Fransco before he met his radical activist honey/guru saw him as a kind of a comet - a big flash followed by a rapid decline. He had failed consistency and was not all that good.
Why would any team want this now-aging troublemaker?

Being another member of the Ownership Group of the Green Bay Packers, I, too, would love to see some other team take him up on this... He would last 3 maybe 4 games.

How ya doing, fellow owner #17? I think Da Bears and Uffda Vikings both need to bring Kapernick in for training camp, don't you? PS. Da Bears still stink.

BS. The guy is a troublemaker and would pull any team down. In addition to that, he would drive off a lot of the team's fan base. Colin is still despised by conservative NFL fans, and any team who hires him will see their merchandise sales crater plus team jersey bonfires all over the city. The NFL leadership is stupid but not that stupid.

Yea! Gawd! They keep calling me! I was a rocket armed scrambling giant in grade school ball! They just won’t leave me alone! I’m 68 years old and they tell me I’m probably still better than Kirk Cousins!

Do they need a special slave contract to pay him millions? You know, to be consistent with Kaepernick's view of the NFL.
