Democrats' Kamala Harris problem

Original Article

The Democratic Party has a unique problem when it considers the 2024 presidential election. Joe Biden, the oldest president in U.S. history, will be 82 at the end of his first term. There is widespread speculation he will not run for reelection, although he insists he will. The suspicion among many in the political world that Biden will not run again threatens to turn him into a first-term lame duck. Or perhaps it already has. The situation has naturally resulted in attention being paid to Vice President Kamala Harris, who would be Biden's obvious successor should he not run. To say Harris has not shone in the job

Like a leaky, stopped up toilet that has been used nonetheless, hairass’s undesirability needs no deep elucidation. Even so some of the quotes in the article are flooring- she’s livid that aides don’t stand when she enters a room? What dregs we have as leaders! Who the hell is driving this?

And still no mention of the fact that her parents were not American born, so she is not eligible to be president. i guess everyone feels "well, Obama got away with that scam, so Kameltoe should too."

There is no 'Turning Biden into a first-term lame duck'. Dementia Joe was a 'Lame Duck' -both physically and mentally- before he was elected.

Biden would be lucky to qualify as a lame duck. He's more like a bloody dead chicken with half its feathers missing. Kamala is the farm animal of your choice. We lost more than the presidency in the stolen election of 2020.

In `1977, Jimmy Carter decided to set up some sort of commission on Women's rights, and although he was warned by his staff that he was making a terrible appointment, Jimmy chose Bella Abzug, a loud mouthed NY feminist lawyer and former congress critter. Abzug was a thorn in the side of Jimmy, and he realized that he had made a mistake, so he terminated her. My favorite story about Bella goes to her first day as a House member. Bella always wore a hat, probably because she had a small head, and when she reached the door of the House chamber, she was intercepted by Fish Bait Miller, House secretary or some such title. 'No hats in the chamber" he advised her. "House rule," he added. Bella was succinct in her response. "F*** you, Fish bait." And the House rule on hats disappeared.

I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that Biden won’t be spending his umpteenth weekend vacationing at his beach house in Delaware over the next few days. The bad news is that he’s spending that time in Europe attempting to defuse a possible world war. So yeah, that’s not preferable for the rest of us given his track record.A promotional video of the president’s arrival at NATO in Brussels has been released, and there are several noteworthy things about it. Here’s what that looked like.(Snip for video)Can we start with the fact that he’s grinning like a Cheshire cat? Does he know where he’s at?

Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats incessantly remind us that the historic milestone marked by Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination is that she would become the Supreme Court’s first Black woman. Yet, how historically significant can it be if she can’t say what a woman is? For all her appeal – and in 12 grueling hours of testimony on Tuesday, Judge Jackson’s intellect and charm were on full display – the nominee is dodgy. Though a highly accomplished – indeed, a historic – woman, she testified that she can’t "provide a definition" of what a woman is.

When my mother called me in from play one afternoon to meet the man seated in our living room, her introduction was redundant—I immediately knew who he was. And, right off, I did not like him. His absence had been a painful matter in my life. The house that we lived in explained some of it. It was unfit for human tenancy—a decaying hovel with a leaking roof, creaking structures, and a termite infestation. I was ashamed to let anyone other than my closest friends know where I lived. I was 12 that year of 1956. This was the Jim Crow South where poverty was the default condition

The White House has announced that Dr. Ashish K. Jha will soon replace Jeffrey Zients as the Biden administration’s coronavirus response coordinator. The good news is that Jha, unlike Zients, is an actual physician. The bad news is that, since the advent of COVID-19, his public statements concerning the pandemic have been tainted by partisan politics and malicious ad hominem attacks on any heretic who dares to question establishment coronavirus orthodoxy. Dr. Jha once appeared on The View, for example, to accuse Stanford University’s Dr. Scott W. Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett could only wish to have experienced a fraction of the media praise being heaped on Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. If anything, it should be the other way around. President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court appointees showed immense legal ability and fidelity to the rule of law before joining the Court. The politically incorrect truth is that President Joe Biden’s nominee, who is set to face Senate questioning on Monday, is a mediocre judge whose politics trump the law. Let’s look at two cases Jackson handled as a district court judge, her job for eight years until being elevated

The Hypocritic Oath First, the good news. Recent legal wins over woke schools in Florida have the education industrial complex reeling. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis successfully banned his state’s education lunatics from “injecting,” as he likes to say with a twinkle in his eye, depraved gender poison into the state’s Kindergarten-through-3rd grade curriculum. This is the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” Act, which produced some hilarious meta-content, like braindead woke celebrities screeching “Gay!” repeatedly on social media. As gasoline prices in the US continue to surge to an unprecedented $7 a gallon in some places, President Joe Biden seems more interested in finding someone to blame than mitigating the problem. ‘Make no mistake, inflation is largely the fault of [Russian president Vladimir] Putin’, the president said on Friday at the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference. The president then cited a ‘fact checker’ in the New York Times and a Washington Post op-ed to counter anyone daring to lay the blame for skyrocketing prices at the feet of the president of the United States.

According to a recent story in The New York Times, in a meeting with the president last month to discuss the party’s messaging, Speaker Nancy Pelosi came armed with an alternate slogan to replace the “Build Back Better” phrase, which some Democrats call “toxic” these days. Pelosi’s substitute? One of the worst political slogans in recent memory — “Democrats Deliver,” which the Times reported had tested at the bottom of a list of potential messages. One can only wonder whether anyone on her team raised the obvious follow-on question, “Deliver what?” It’s just too easy. Republicans would have a field day answering the question for them.

We'll get to the CDC changes in a moment. First, we are just beginning to quantify the ongoing damage done by COVID, as well as the harm inflicted by related lockdowns and restrictions. Children and students were particularly hard-hit by the latter phenomenon, as they were overwhelmingly safe from severe outcomes from Coronavirus infections – yet had their learning, development and overall wellbeing aggressively stunted by terrible government policies in many parts of the country. We also know that drug overdoses surged overall, and youth suicide attempts increased, during this stressful period featuring a great deal of social isolation.
