Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced on Thursday he will oppose Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Watch:(Video) McConnell made the announcement despite going into the confirmation process with an “open mind.”“After studying the nominee’s record and watching her performance this week, I cannot and will not support Judge Jackson for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court,” McConnell said. The notoriously calculating McConnell has apparently read the tea leaves and decided that the Republican Party would be ill-served to strike a conciliatory tone

Really? Why would he vote for a racist, pedophile enabler?

Thank God he’s finally voting in a way that is supported by the people that voted him in. About time.

Excellent. She's a anti-white racist hater, and cannot define "woman"....so either exceptionally stupid, or more likely, an accomplished, comfortable liar with extreme leftist tendencies.
Reject this racist person.

She will make the Wise Latina look like Atilla the Hun in comparison, assuming she gets confirmed. Maybe her soliloquies on kiddie porn collectors and Gitmo detainees will help unseat a few Democrat Senators in November.

It would be nice to say I knew we could count on him to do the right thing. However, I am surprised and very pleased.

Well, that’s nice.
But how will the distinguished gentleman from Utah, ‘Pierre Delecto’, vote on the confirmation?

Respectfully, Poster 6. I can’t see any democrat senator voting no. Democrats stick together like a ball of snakes.

What do you mean, *despite* going in with an open mind? Socialists in the news media always twist words and sneer at Republicans.

And if Romney, Collins and Murkowski vote to confirm, they should be shunned for the rest of their days.

Why does he 'stun' America??? Just watch a little and you can see a vapid very limited black woman who knows how to dish judicial dribble but says very little. The dame is an empty barrel who needs a lot more lessons in life before she should get a lifetime salary for attempting to change America!!!

You figure out which democratic senators he has already and which ones are vulnerable this fall. Defending this radical to the middle of the voting block will be damn near impossible.
Her testimony hurt her. And it is showing up as a source of jokes and mockery on social media, presumably polling numbers reflect that.

Frankly, I'm surprised that anyone is surprised by his no vote. If you cannot give a definition of "what is a woman" (uh, duh, an adult female human) I wouldn't trust you to walk my dog.

Mitch finally grew a pair and did something right! It’s good that he made an announcement before the hearings ended, as if to signal to the other Republicans “okay, we’ve heard enough.”
This woman isn’t fit to be a judge ANYWHERE.

confirming this embarrassingly untruthful, unqualified, inexperienced, and radically biased- possibly female/ [wo]man

RE #8, I am betting that Manchin has a substantial likelihood of voting no on this racist hater. Sinema? No idea at all, probably will vote for her, but she has proven to be sensible several other times, so ????

As slow Joe said big f-ing deal. There's enough RINOs to vote for this sorry excuse for a judge so Addison the McTurtle can say whatever. He probably called Feinstein's whipping girl the MurKow, the Maine Mushhead and Pierre Delecto into his office and told him to vote yea so that he can appear to be in opposition. Nothing would surprise me when it comes to that backstabbing putz.

I think the turning point was when the 'wise latina' revealed she didn't know about limits in federal government action enshrined in the 10th Amendment.
Anyone who voted that travesty thru committee or in the Senate should be ashamed and do penance. KBJ is a good place to start.

As much as Mitch aggravates me on most of his doings in the senate, you have to admit that he really is good on judicial matters. He kept Garland off of the SCOTUS. So this statement didn’t stun me at all.
