SNL takes on Joe Biden's TikTok obsessions

Original Article

Now that Joe Biden has defined his wretched presidency with his focus on TikTok and its "influencers," even Saturday Night Live is lampooning his TikTok obsessions. They ran this one on Saturday: The context of the skit was that doddering and senile old Biden had reportedly met with TikTok "influencers" to brainstorm with them about what they could do to end Russia's Ukraine war. None of the characters consulted -- a grab bag of various clowns such as a dog-make-up specialist, a guy who said his own name over and over, AnnaLynne McCord, the blonde Hollywood ditz who recited Putin poetry claiming he needed a better mother

Comments:

Watch the video, even if you gave up on SNL like I did, long ago. The skit is actually funny, and they poke some "Hunter" jokes at Idiot Joe, too. SNL hasn't been funny for a long time....this one actually is funny. This fits with my concept of TikTok "influencers".

Russia...... February, 2022 "“Once again, Putin and the Russians are trying to engage in our elections and decide who the president’s going to be,” Biden said in a 2019 fundraising ad. “This time I’m the object of their attention. SNL: musicians pretending they are making music; comedians pretending their skits are funny; audience pretending to enjoy both. Yes, I tune in to SNL often enough to determine this.

Even if you think Russia has some legitimate grievances, this war thing is not good. M’kay? It’s a horrible waste of life and property, and it will hardly just be the civilians of Ukraine and Russia paying a steep economic price. But it would never have happened if Russia couldn’t afford the world’s third-largest military — with only the 11th-largest GDP. Where is it getting the hard currency to oil that war machine (pun intended)? It’s essentially fossil fuel exports to our NATO allies, and especially the largest of them, Germany. And yes, even some exports to the United States.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read in AT the recent article by Dan Truitt on the Russian invasion in Ukraine. Almost word by word, it repeated the Russian propaganda that is being fed by the "Ministry of Truth" in Moscow. Mr. Truitt claims that "virtually no one in the U.S. has got this right, including conservative outlets and pundits." What arrogance! By these words, he claims a possession of the ultimate knowledge of the roots and causes of the current events. Really?

An attack on the U.S. would bring out the patriotism of many Americans, according to a Quinnipiac poll released Tuesday, but a surprising number of our fellow citizens would also cut and run. Here's the Washington Times story about it: An attack on the U.S. homeland would bring out the fight in most Americans. according to a new poll, but a surprisingly large percentage say they'd flee. A Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday asked Americans what they would do "if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country?"

In Florida's 11th Congressional district, US Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL) is facing a tough primary race against Conservative investigative journalist and free speech activist Laura Loomer. Rep. Webster's reelection to the House of Representatives will be a steep uphill challenge given that Laura Loomer (R-FL), the popular firebrand who was endorsed by President Trump in 2020, has now gained the endorsement of General. Michael Flynn. Loomer, who has been characterized as a Right-wing activist and the most canceled woman in Florida, looks to have a real shot to win after embarking on a grassroots campaign that seems to be blanketing the district.

Mayor Eric Adams was elected largely based on his promise to return order to New York City. While early indications point to his moving in the right direction, I fear that factors beyond his control will hinder reaching that goal. I recently retired as a sergeant after serving 29 years with the NYPD. I grew up in Queens and attended Franklin K. Lane High School in Brooklyn. I still live in the city. I spent my entire career on patrol and in plainclothes Anti-Crime and Street Narcotics Enforcement Units (SNEU) in the South Bronx and Harlem. I came on the job in 1991 when the city had more than 2,000 homicides.

Those trying to sell us on buying electric vehicles often claim that drivers can save money by not having to buy gas, but is that really the case? In many regards, some analysts have their doubts. As the average cost per gallon of gas has soared past $4.20, and with no end in sight, many of our leaders — including Joe Biden — are pushing EVs as a cost-effective replacement for gas-powered cars. As Fox Business recently noted, a one-to-one comparison of the cost of charging an EV versus filling a regular auto with gas showed that EV charging appeared cheaper.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is promoting a dystopian vision, and it is closer than you think. By 2030, it says, “You will own nothing and you’ll be happy.” Ownership and control will be vested in a handful of government leaders and a cabal of the wealthiest individuals in the world. You will lose more than just your possessions. Under the WEF’s “Great Reset,” individual freedom, personal responsibility, and opportunities for growth and self-fulfillment will be eroded away. Democracy, the free market and national sovereignty will be replaced by a new world order, stakeholder capitalism and centralized control by some NGOs, globalist corporations and the elite.

Sometimes I feel sorry for Barack Obama. Though we grew up in the same era — indeed, were born less than two months apart — he had a very different upbringing. The title of his first autobiography says it all: Dreams from My Father. Unlike young Barack, I was blessed with a present father who took an active hand in raising me — a hand that, on rare occasions, wielded an old wooden paddle. I got a lot more than just dreams from my father. I received love, affection, counsel, discipline, and direction.

A few years back, I was walking through a seedy Miami neighborhood when I heard a woman’s scream. I rushed forward and saw a hefty young black man pulling the purse from a fiftyish Latina, who was clutching the purse strap like her life depended on it. Fearing my interference would end badly for me, I nonetheless ran toward the man yelling, “Hey! Let it go!” He then released the purse and scurried away. I recalled the incident over the weekend, watching two new samples of the Action Heroine fantasy Hollywoke keeps trying to shove down viewers’ throats, even as they spit it out.

Russia learned some hard lessons when it invaded Finland in November 1939. Today in Ukraine, it’s become clear that those lessons didn’t “stick,” at least not among Russia’s decision-makers. In the winter of 1939, Russia – having just conquered half of Poland after Germany had already knocked that country out of the war – decided that war was good business. So they invaded Finland. In Poland, the Soviets re-took land that had been under the control of Czarist Russia for two centuries before it was divided away from Russia at the treaty of Versailles. Repeating that strategy, on November 30, 1939, Russia attacked Finland

The Biden administration knows it has a looming “mass migration event” in the very near future when it ends the use of Title 42 at the southern border. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) quietly set up the Southwest Border Coordination Center (SBCC) to coordinate its response. Think of it as a war room to game out the coming flood of illegal migrants to the southern border. I say that SBCC was quietly created because before the reporting today by Axios, the war room wasn’t reported on in the media. The reason for the nervous preparation for a mass event is because with the pandemic essentially ending,
