What is it about radical leftists and getting their hands on people's kids?
Libs of Tik Tok (hat tip: Daily Wire and We Love Trump) found this one, posted on the ritzy Lowell School's site, showing very small schoolchildren, all around age 5, marching in their masks, with signs chanting "Black Lives Matter, Black Lives Matter..." I suppose we're supposed to say, "Aw, aren't they cute," but the normal response is, Who is forcing them to do that against their will? (Snip for tweet) I remember singing "ring around the rosie" at that particular age.
What's more, as a five-year-old in the '60s, I remember seeing Black Panther and

TIJUANA, Mexico — About a hundred members of the police, National Guard and army on Sunday evicted 381 migrants, mainly Central Americans and Mexicans, from a makeshift camp they had been staying in for almost a year in Tijuana at the U.S. border crossing.
The migrants’ tents around El Chaparral crossing were demolished with the help of excavators and trucks while their inhabitants loaded their few belongings into bags and suitcases to be transferred to three local shelters.
“It was a relocation that had to be carried out carefully to avoid a collapse,” Tijuana Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez told reporters, saying the families were living in a state of “insecurity”

A woman fell to her death Sunday afternoon from the Royal Park Bridge connecting Palm Beach to downtown West Palm Beach when the drawbridge began opening before she could move off its moveable span, police said.
West Palm Beach police say the woman was walking off the bridge with a bicycle and was within 10 feet of the barrier arms that halt traffic when the drawbridge started to rise, sending her careening into an open chasm.
A man standing on the other side of the barrier arms grabbed her as she fell but could not sustain her grip, police said. She plummeted more than 50 feet.

For a while there, the far-left Canadian government contented itself with deplatforming and defunding the striking Canadian truckers who are in Ottawa protesting the country's vaccine mandate.
That didn't work, so now they've gotten worse. According to Reuters:
OTTAWA, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson on Sunday declared a state of emergency to help deal with an unprecedented 10-day occupation by protesting truckers that has shut down much of the core of the Canadian capital.
"(This) reflects the serious danger and threat to the safety and security of residents posed by the ongoing demonstrations

Germany, as we well know with its Russian gas capers, is a highly industrialized society in need of a lot of energy.
Fine and dandy. But how they get it presents increasingly bad options.
They got rid of their nuclear power in the wake of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear meltdown after a big earthquake in Japan, (despite Germany not being in a quake zone), driving themselves to dependency on foreign suppliers. That's presented problems for them what with Russia filling that role, so their other recourse has been the one Joe Biden is touting for America: Green energy -- like wind and solar power.
It's costly, requiring state subsidization,

Awkwafina returned to Twitter after a two-year absence on Saturday to address longstanding criticism over her use of a blaccent and appropriation of Black culture.
In a statement that also indicated she would be “retiring from Twitter,” the Crazy Rich Asians and Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings star denies that her use of AAVE, or African American Vernacular English, as well as her “blaccent” — a voice that stereotypically imitates forms of Black American dialect — were meant to mock Black people.
Early in her message, the actress acknowledged the sociopolitical and “historical context of the African American community”

SAN DIEGO, CA — The California Attorney General's Office issued a consumer alert Friday related to dried plum fruit and candy products that allegedly contain dangerous levels of lead, including several products sold by San Diego retailers.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta's office said it has sent letters directing retailers to immediately remove the products from shelves, many of which appear to be marketed to children.
The AG's Office says testing revealed many of the products contained lead levels that "far exceed"

After Joe Biden, Tony Blinken and other Biden administration officials blithely assured that the number of Americans left behind in Afghanistan after the chaotic U.S. pullout was miniscule, just a minor rounding error, Congress has come up with a more accurate figure.
According to the Daily Caller:
As many as 9,000 American citizens were left in Afghanistan when the U.S. military withdrew from the country Aug. 31, according to a report released Thursday by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In public statements, Biden administration officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, claimed that only 100-150 Americans remained in Afghanistan and had contacted the U.S. government with a desire to leave.

With a voter recall four months away, things aren't going too well for San Francisco's far-left District Attorney Chesa Boudin, whose office appears to now be a dumpster fire of controversies.
Thursday the news got out through court transcripts that a shouting match broke out in a courthouse, between Chesa's staff and the lawyers of a witness, Magen Hayashi, who testified that Chesa's D.A. office told her to withhold critical evidence that could exculpated an officer in a police brutality case. The D.A.'s investigation of the matter neglected to mention that the cop in question was answering a domestic violence call

It's not huge news that the Biden administration was a colossal failure on Afghanistan, or that Joe Biden still thinks there's nothing to apologize for.
What's news now is the colossal incompetence that went on inside that administration as Afghanistan was collapsing, according to a leaked memo that Axios got hold of:
Leaked notes from a White House Situation Room meeting the day before Kabul fell shed new light on just how unprepared the Biden administration was to evacuate Afghan nationals who'd helped the United States in its 20-year war against the Taliban.
Why it matters: Hours before the Taliban seized control of Afghanistan's capital on Aug. 15, 2021,

“The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.” — George Orwell
××
As a psychologist, I was invariably sympathetic with individuals who had gender dysphoria and/or became transgender, even though the latter was distasteful to me. However, in recent years I have become deeply antagonistic towards such persons, principally because they have targeted children for chemical and physical mutilation. I now consider myself — proudly — to be transphobic. And I have no problems in saying so publicly.
And you should, too.
As a rule, when someone gets accused of something that liberals don’t like the automatic reaction is to deny the accusation.

Well, it turns out things haven't gone so good for wokester company, Penzey's Spices, which ran a 'Republicans are racist' campaign for .. I am not sure what purpose, it wasn't business.
According to Fox News:
A Wisconsin-based spice company that made headlines earlier this month when its CEO sent an email to customers accusing Republicans of racism is now asking people to buy gift cards after hemorrhaging tens of thousands of customers.
Earlier this month, Penzeys Spices CEO Bill Penzey renamed the extended Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend to be "Republicans are racist weekend" in a newsletter to customers.
