WASHINGTON — Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is criticizing the Republican National Committee for censuring two House GOP lawmakers investigating the “violent insurrection” on Jan. 6, 2021, saying it’s not the party’s job to police the views of lawmakers.
As former President Donald Trump has downplayed the attack by his supporters last year — the worst attack against the Capitol in two centuries — the RNC last week took a voice vote to approve censuring Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois at the party’s winter meeting in Salt Lake City.

Mitch, you don't deserve to be Republican leader of the Senate, what a tool.

Wow, when you have a giant lie in your second sentence ("the worst attack against the Capitol in two centuries"), there is no use in trying to read the rest of what is obviously a partisan "hit piece" by another lie-beral editorialist!!!!!

March 1 1954 4 Puert Ricans shot up the Capital....shot off about 30 rounds or so. I would say that might be a little worse than Jan 6 when a nut dressed up like a whatever paraded around. Only person that might see it differently is dead. She was killed by a Congressional Mall Cop.

Go home Mitch, just go home. You are a drooling fool worse than Xiden. Hit the liquor store and stock up on Russian vodka, Budweiser, and a case or two of wine. Then get a hotel room for two weeks and drink it all by yourself.

Jan 6th was the worst thing that happened to the American citizens. I don’t think an election has ever been stolen in the open before. It was the worst day for unarmed Ashlee Babbitt. I don’t want to hear any of your whining, Mitch. You did nothing to protect the integrity of the election. What is wrong with you?

Snitch McConnell is the insurrection along with the FBI, CIA, Pelosi, Schumer, Republican members and the DNC. McConnell must be removed ASAP by any legal means available. The Kentucky AG should start sn investigation to determine if McConnell is a J6 conspirator ASAP!

Mitch is wrong. He knows it. The RNC knows it. Conservatives know it. Only the GOP establishment, aka republicrats would agree with him.

Meet the new Mitch, same as the old Mitch. Bringing manufacturing back to the USA would harm his wife's Chinese shipping interests, and probably corporate profits too (these matter far more than the well-being of the American workers), so in light of these facts, the agency's Reichstag fire is perfectly fine as long as it's blamed on citizens who objected to the rigged election.

If a Mitch McConnell lead Republican party is the alternative to the Democrat party, why should I bother voting at all? The crackdown continues, and both parties are in on it.

What OP said. Maybe Mitch is feeling short-timerish as 2022 election will probably end his majority leader bit. A good Republican/Conservative would not go for him again.

This is the worst thing Mitch could have done. If he thinks this will unite the Republican Party, he better pack his bags and head for Switzerland or Brazil and Kentucky Republicans should get his replacement ready.

Mitch has to keep his RINOs happy. Mitch is in a rare situation where he is defacto Majority leader without being the majority leader. If he loses one RINO, its Dem's Nirvana. DA Kumalot gets to break ties. I don't care for Mitch and hope enough Rebublicans get elected in Nov to get rid of Miitch. But for now, he has a chance to kill Biden and Piglosi's communist push. But he has to keep RINOs happy. It must suck to be Mitch McConnell.

Our God is causing this open and full exposure of America’s enemies. McConnell is all the way out of the closet now. He and his leadership team are every bit as treacherous, greedy and utterly lacking in concern for the American people as JB, Obama and the Democrats. If Senate Republicans stay silent and accept this this evil man’s leadership, they are no better than he is!

What is this 'breach the Capitol" they keep talking about.
I remember seeing on TV these idiots climbing the exterior wall while other were walking calmly up the steps to the Capitol on either side of the wall. I also remember seeing the Mall cops holding the door for people coming into the building. I also remember seeing people walking through a roped off path looking at everything in the Capitol.
No Riot! No Riot! No Riot. A riot is when statues are broken, paintings ripped down, buildings burned. (See Antifa and BLM - Portland for example)

The Treasonous Turtle. Mitch, the "violence" went in one direction, more Trump supporters were injured and died than did anyone who works for the Federal government or District of Columbia.

Maybe someone else can be Republican Senate Leader. I've alwsys felt Mitch gave away too much and fought for little, that wasn't falling by itself into his lap.
