There is a right to vote. There is no right to sloth.
There is no right to sit on your hands all year and then have a ballot automatically appear in your mailbox. There is no right to mark your ballot at your leisure up to two weeks before the election and then hand it off to someone else to turn in to election officials.
There is no right to wait until the afternoon of election day and then saunter into any random precinct, register to vote, then immediately cast a ballot without bothering to bring a photo identification.

President Joe Biden apologized after calling Fox News reporter Peter Doocy a "stupid son of a b****" on a hot microphone during a meeting about inflation. (snip) Biden later called Doocy to apologize for the remark, according to CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins. Doocy later told Fox News host Sean Hannity that Biden called to tell him, "It's nothing personal, pal." The remarks were also included in the White House's official transcript of the meeting. The White House did not respond to an inquiry about whether or not Biden knew the microphone was still on when he made the comment.

The top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee is warning that the Iranian regime is 12-18 months away from developing a nuclear bomb.
"Russia sent a secret agreement to Iran," Texas GOP Rep. Michael McCaul said during a press briefing with other GOP leaders. "Russia is trying to take the lead now on negotiations with Iran. The secret agreement, we haven't seen it. The Biden administration still thinks that negotiating at the table is the way to go."
McCaul, former chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, suspects the Iranians are stalling for time. The regime's "strategy is to delay the negotiations until they can achieve a nuclear bomb,” he said.

On Friday, hundreds of thousands of pro-life individuals gathered in Washington, DC, for the annual March for Life. The mainstream media once again ignored the nation’s longest-running, largest protest. After all, it’s not like it involved five people standing in front of Glenn Youngkin’s bus or something. (snip) In the midst of all that, a man named Forrest Bennett stepped to the fore. Per his bio, he’s the state representative for the 92nd district in Oklahoma, and he had an idea to try to own the pro-lifers. Per Bennett, he was going to prove their hypocrisy by introducing a bill to require fathers to support their children beginning at conception.

It was the evening of March 31, 2014. I was 28 years old and preparing to move to Atlanta, Ga. from Newport News, Va. for a ministry assignment. As I was finalizing everything for the move, my father asked me to come downstairs. There was something he and my mother wanted to share with me.
Expecting to receive a flurry of goodbye wishes, I hurried downstairs, but what he revealed to me was something else entirely, something that would drastically alter the direction of my life: I was adopted.

After a long and storied career, I would like to say that I have amassed a fortune. But not yet. However, I have faced 300-foot flame lengths as a firefighter, been asked to remove suspected anthrax from a county jail wearing nothing but a respirator mask and some rubber gloves, and been kicked out of a café in Paris because I realized I didn’t have enough money to pay for my beer (and I mean literally kicked in the ass into the gutter on the Champs-Elysées).

A large majority of Americans say they support restrictions on abortion, a new poll from the Knights of Columbus and Marist Poll suggests.
In the survey of 1,004 adults, pollsters found that 71 percent of Americans think abortion should be heavily limited and only allowed in certain instances. (snip) Of the Americans who favor more regulation on killing unborn babies in the womb, 22 percent think abortion should be illegal beyond the first trimester. Another 28 percent think abortion should be allowed only in cases of rape, incest, or to save the mother’s life, while 9 percent say it should be allowed only when the mother’s life is threatened.

With Paul Manafort’s explosive new book, Political Prisoner, we finally have a full and honest detailed account of how the U.S. government, the not-so-special Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and particularly the FBI treated anyone and everyone connected to Donald Trump. The plain truth is they were after him—and would stop at nothing in their quest of subversion.
I would know, because I, too,was in their sights.
Detained at Boston’s Logan Airport, the FBI grilled me about the 2016 campaign, specific persons involved, Wikileaks, Roger Stone, Nigel Farage, and Russia.

Like the one plaguing shelves in grocery stores across America, there is a supply shortage of racism in the country—but when it comes to the leaders of the Democratic Party, the demand remains high. The Democrats seem to think that the rallying cry of racism is essential to galvanizing their most loyal demographic, Black Americans. And that's how they have been talking about their new voting rights bill, the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

When some people acquire power, they act like wolves. They take whatever savage actions are needed to win and dominate. They turn their opponents and critics into sheep, who learn to be quiet or face vicious attacks and destruction.
Think of Joseph Stalin killing his rivals. Think of the Castro brothers torturing, imprisoning and exiling political opponents. Consider the decay of Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe, as political opponents were imprisoned, killed and exiled. Recall the ruthlessness of Hugo Chavez in taking over Venezuela.

Every year for the past 48 years, anti-abortion activists have gathered in our nation's capital to protest the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in all 50 states.
This year, faced with the realistic prospect of that decision being overturned, hopes are at an all-time high. This is one important change that will make the annual March for Life feel different.
A less striking change will be the large contingent of progressives and liberals who are turning up in greater numbers each year.

Associate Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Sonia Sotomayor put out a joint statement on Wednesday denying a recent report that Gorsuch refused to wear a mask during oral arguments, forcing Sotomayor to participate in proceedings remotely.
National Public Radio legal correspondent Nina Totenberg claimed in a Tuesday column that Gorsuch refused a request from Chief Justice John Roberts that all justices wear masks during oral arguments as a result of Sotomayor’s fears about the Omicron variant. Sotomayor, who has diabetes, “has not attended the justices’ weekly conference in person, joining instead by telephone” as a result of Gorsuch’s refusal, Totenberg wrote.
