The Political Timing of the End of the Pandemic

Original Article

Posted By: Magnante, 1/18/2022 8:50:47 AM

At some point in the relatively near future, President Joe Biden will be handed a speech that will read something like this: “My Fellow Americans -- Our long national nightmare is over. The pandemic is a thing of the past and I am ordering the end of all federal COVID-related efforts and I implore those governors who have not lifted their emergency orders to do so immediately. It’s time for all of us to get back to normal.” Given Biden’s speech and cognition issues, he will most likely actually say ‘My Felericans -- our long natural fair is covered,” but that is beside the point

If it was just all that easy. American politicians caught up in COVID fear-mongering are captives of the COVID Kraken...let's look to Xi'an, China. And now we have the story of another virus causing bleeding from body orifices, from ears to eyes to... The beatings will continue until...well, when? It's hard to declare an end when the fear-mongers pronounce another variant or a new scourge. The profits are too great. Free test, anyone?

Buckley must still believe votes are counted fairly. More likely than declaring victory over Covid, the Democrats will declare a new and even more serious outbreak, requiring emergency suspension of in-person voting altogether. Covid is still the best excuse to cheat with mail-in fraud, etc. It wouldn't surprise me if they took away the vote from the unvaccinated, as well.

They'll announce the end of the virus somewhere between Memorial Day and the Fourth of July (the tie in the the fourth and "American Freedom" seems most logical). If the dims manage to hold onto the house and/or senate the restrictions will be back in place the day after the election.

On Thursday, Melinda French Gates, who is Bill Gates’s ex-wife, sat down for an interview with CBS’s Gayle King. It was fascinating to see how adamantly and completely Melinda distanced herself from Epstein and the nature of Bill’s friendship with him. I couldn’t help wondering if she isn’t worried about something regarding Bill’s relationship with Epstein. (snip) The most interesting part of the interview (of course) was about Bill’s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. When the story broke last May, the world learned that this was a very close friendship. Bill was often at Epstein’s New York townhouse, crying on his friend’s shoulder about his “toxic” marriage to Melinda.

Ever since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the western public has been carpet bombed with the claim that Russian president Vladimir Putin is some sort of unhinged madman. This notion is being feverishly spread by the establishment and those in its pay: the political class, the media and the commentariat, career diplomats and technocrats as well as those connected to the security and intelligence communities. The most remarkable thing about the Mad Vlad claim is that it is obviously false. Whatever Vladimir Putin may be, he is certainly no irrational madman.

At least one criminal case that Democrat activists filed against Trump may be ending with a whimper. You may recall that there’s a criminal fraud case against Trump in Manhattan. To the New York Times’s manifest despair, it seems that there is no evidence of an actual crime. Things are so bad that two of the lead prosecutors on the case quit when the District Attorney expressed serious doubt in the case. In 2018, Cyrus Vance, Jr., Manhattan’s then-District Attorney, charged the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, with tax fraud allegedly related to overvaluing properties to obtain bank loans.

Everyone recalls Biden’s remark that the U.S. might soft-pedal its response if Russia engaged in only a “minor incursion” in Ukraine. Well, surprise, surprise! Given the green light from Biden, Russia is unilaterally annexing only a portion of Ukraine. Vlad Putin, the evil though very calculating chief oligarch of the shriveled nation of Russia (when stacked against its predecessor, the Soviet Union), is playing chess over the fate of Ukraine, while our figurehead president and his gaggle of administration mediocrities (here being charitable) and Pentagon toadies play checkers. I’ll venture this wager -- though with modest reservations: Putin will bring Ukraine into his orbit without sending his troops en masse into said country. On Monday, Putin recognized Russian-dominated regions of the Ukraine, followed by a minor incursion of "peacekeepers," travelling by bus, not APC.

In recent years, a number of parents and grandparents have discovered an alarming trend: children no longer know how to write in cursive. Such a discovery led to a considerable backlash against programs such as Common Core, which many viewed as the culprit squeezing out cursive instruction. Thanks to increased attention on the subject, many states have implemented laws mandating that cursive be taught in school. But what happens when children begin to learn cursive and can’t hold their pencil properly? Amazingly, this is the growing reality in a number of countries. The Guardian explains:
