It’s long been axiomatic in the legal profession that tough facts make bad law. Yesterday’s forked decisions from the Supreme Court in two vaccine mandate cases now add a corollary to that principle: Quick cases make milquetoast opinions.
The Supreme Court heard the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Medicare/Medicaid mandate cases in tandem on an expedited basis last Friday. Although court observers expected lightning-fast decisions, the opinions in National Federation of Independent Business v. Department of Labor and Biden v. Missouri didn’t drop until Jan. 13.

The Chief Justice has been painfully weak on the Constitution and on communism in general for many years. I would love to know what Epstein pictures he is being blackmailed with. I'm sure we will find out someday, but by then the damage will have been done.

I'm trying very hard to remember the last time the leftist loons on the Court split. Very easy to remember the "conservatives" splitting.

Based on who selected Roberts, are there even more people connected to possible Epstein activities than previously known? Are there people with good reputations too? Maybe sex isn’t the only thing people are being blackmailed for, maybe they are involved in dark Globalist programs like controlling elections or monetary systems worldwide etc. Inquiring minds want to know.

These decisions resemble the Court's decisions when the requested relief is a stay, plus time was of the essence. These opinions have an unpolished feel, like a term paper that needed further editing but time ran out. Litigation of unresolved issues in the OSHA case is ongoing at the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. The Supreme Court did not want to preempt those issues, which may, but probably will not, reach the Supreme Court.

A liberal split is very rare, #3, because liberals are unfettered by the Constitution and the law. As ideologues, they rule by their 'feelings' on the matter rather than what the Constitution says. This has been going on for a LONG time. Liberals are all expansionists - they find new interpretations in the words of the Constitution to justify whatever ridiculous actions they want to impose. Roe v. Wade was a mental construction of Blackmun, for example. Usually, when you hear a liberal carping about what the 14th Amendment means, you can bet they are trying to expand what the Constitution says past what it says.

The headline should read ' the Supreme Court is frighteningly weak ' - they either refuse to take up important issues or PUNT - Some of the justices just do not want to make decisions that will cause them criticism from the Left. Only a few of the justices have a backbone, or are seemingly not subject to blackmail. CJ Roberts is an utter failure.

I thought it was a cop out. When you try to please everybody, you please nobody.

The Supreme Court has done medical workers an injustice by not recognizing those that have natural immunity in their ruling..
The political CDC has still not acknowledged that natural immunity is as good as (actually better than) vaccine immunity. Science has shown that getting Covid vaccine after acquiring natural immunity shows no discernible benefit. Most of the medical workers being fired for not getting the jab have natural immunity. They got natural immunity when they caught Covid and recovered while working to save others from dying of Covid when there were no vaccines. To rule that medical workers with natural immunity, that do not get the "jab," should be fired is a deplorable injustice.

If nothing else it took away the claims of the large, woke corporations that the damage they were inflicting on their own employees was due to government mandates so what else could they do? It built up their credibility with the elites, liberals and Karens that they were doing their part to make the world a safer place. Now they will be exposed as idiots for shooting themselves in the foot. Finally, a situation that helps small businesses but hurts the large.
