Wedding photographer Emilee Carpenter is appealing a New York federal judge’s ruling that her attorneys say compels the evangelical Christian to create photo displays for same-sex weddings. “This is a free speech issue. And I believe that all artists should be free to choose the messages they promote,” Ms. Carpenter, 27, told The Washington Times.(Snip)Judge Geraci ruled that, under the state laws, Ms. Carpenter must create photographs and blogs for same-sex couples if she also does wedding photography for heterosexual couples. He said her “unique artistic style and vision” are what a customer might want and exempting her from serving LGBT consumers on religious grounds would “relegate”

In other words, Twitter, FascistBook, Google/YouTube et al can decide who they want to do business with, but photographers and cake bakers cannot. Despicable.

Just go and take the photos but do a really crummy job. Take pics of the bathroom and entrance and ceiling. Then they cannot complain because you "took pics". And they cannot take you to court because you took the pics. I would do the same thing about making a cake. Do a really crummy job. Make it to salty and add no sugar. At least you "made the cake".

Things like this are a big reason why we need to teach our kids civics. This is so far from the limited government that the founders set up when they drafted our constitution that it is just flat out ridiculous. No matter what a persons view is on gay marriage, no one should be off in favor of forcing private businesses to do business with people they don’t want to do business with.

No, you call your studio a sanctuary business. You have a sign on your door saying that you obey the laws you like and ignore the laws you don't like. If this works for cities that let illegal aliens stay there it sure should work for businesses. And the 'woke' idiots cannot argue with this.

The way to solve this issue is for a demonstrably anti-LGBQT person to hire a LGBQT photographer to photograph an event. Watch what happens. The said anti-Alphabet person can sue on identical grounds.
Stand back and watch the fur fly!

DO the LGBTQ wedding. Take the exact pictures they want you to take. Just don't do what you normally do that makes people want you for their photographer. Make the photos look like photos anyone could have taken but cost a lot because a photographer took them. Word will get around that she is not the photographer to hire for LGBTQ events rather quickly. If some LGBTQ person were really smart, they would open a LGBTQ Specialty Photography Studio specializing in LGBTQ wedding and events. This would avoid the entire "I don't do gay weddings issue". Problem is, they want to make a point and that is exactly why they go to and target photographers and other businesses they know might have a disagreement with their lifestyle. They want to make a point, not get the best pictures.

If I were this photographer my pictures would come out so hideous that they would never force someone to do something against their will again.

If the woman did a subpar job, then the activist Marxist lawyers would shop the case to an activist Marxist judge and ruin her financially. That's how it works; a no-win. Unless you're a Muslim or otherwise non-Christian, then they let you be.

Don't argue with them. Take the job, go to the "wedding", and have an unfortunate equipment "misfunction" where you can't take any pictures. Eat some shrimp and go home.
"So sorry, that has never happened before. Here is your money back."
Let this happen at enough sodomite nasty-fest faux weddings, and they will quit trying to ram their vile and disgusting beliefs down the throats of those who don't want to serve them.
Seriously, there are plenty of photographers, florists, bakers, etc, that will be happy to celebrate your sodomy nuptials. Forcing people to participate that don't want to is against everything in our free market economy.

Charge them a boatload of money and do a horrible job. Then quote artistic license. So what if the two grooms look like a Salvador Dali dripping face painting.

What about financial service businesses, like banks and credit cards, that decline to serve customers like gun purchasers or gun manufacturers or someone they don't agree with? What about a restaurant not serving Trump officials like Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Why is it that only not baking cakes or not taking pictures for gay weddings that gets negative media critical scrutiny?

Just ignore the judges ruling! Poopypants is telling businesses and states to ignore the SCOTUS, so it appears court rulings are really only suggestions!

Here we go again. Remember when civil rights law was all the rage? Every jurisdiction at every level of government passed these anti-discrimination laws...a business owner cannot deny patrons on the basis of...
If you hold a business license, it is likely you signed a form that acknowledged your knowledge of the law and acceptance.
So, bake the cake, take the photos, arrange the flowers...or fight to repeal these laws.
