The jobless rates for whites fell half a percentage point to 3.2 percent, while the rate for blacks rose from 6.7 percent to 7.1 percent, according to data released by the Labor Department on Friday. As a result, black unemployment is now more than twice the white unemployment rate. In fact, at 220 percent the white unemployment rate,

And fret not because the Republicans keep increasing food stamp benefits, seeing how much money Big Snack and Big Soda and Walmart make on it, let alone the banks that make money on transaction fees with each swipe of the EBT card.

Stop blaming the people when we all know its the government's fault. One has to be looking for work to even be counted. The gap could just as likely be because fewer whites are looking for work. Also blacks are less likely to get the jab so they may have been fired for that. The facts are just a year ago this gap was not the case, its 100% thanks to FJB.

People “work” for many reasons. For personal satisfaction. To keep from being “bored”. To obtain food for themselves or family. To obtain the means to buy things they want, need and desire (to quote Sean Hannity). Among many others. Presently, several of those reasons are abolished by Biden’s policies. So here we are. Omicron could be even less deadly than flu, scientists believe in a boost to hopes that the worst of the pandemic is over. Some experts have always maintained that the coronavirus would eventually morph into a seasonal cold-like virus as the world develops immunity through vaccines and natural infection. But the emergence of the highly-mutated Omicron variant appears to have sped the process up. MailOnline analysis shows Covid killed one in 33 people who tested positive at the peak of the devastating second wave last January, compared to just one in 670 now. But experts believe the figure could be even lower because of Omicron.

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.

The liberal wing of the Supreme Court embarrassed itself Friday with a slew of false claims about COVID-19 during oral arguments over Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates. For example, Justice Stephen Breyer claimed hospitals are at capacity because of unvaccinated Americans with COVID. This is false. But perhaps the most ridiculous false claim from a Supreme Court justice came from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who falsely claimed that 100,000 children are in “serious condition” from COVID. “We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators,” Sotomayor claimed.
