For Biden, a day of COVID reckoning is coming

For Biden, a day of Covid Reckoning is coming. President Joe Biden has come up with a new set of measures to deal with the surge in COVID cases. The plan, which focuses mostly on assisting hospitals, home testing, and promoting vaccinations, is the latest evidence that Biden, who during the presidential campaign portrayed himself as an experienced leader who knew how to handle the pandemic, was not, in fact, prepared to handle the pandemic. The simple fact is, Biden has failed to live up to his promises to control the pandemic. During his second debate with then-President Donald Trump, Biden pledged to "shut down the virus."

All I heard was vaccinate and get boosters over and over and over. Also he pushed getting your children vaccinated. He also said the vaccinated could celebrate the holidays freely, but beware, the unvaccinated would prevent cardiac and other patients in need from getting beds and were putting their vaccinated families, friends and children at risk. In other words the vaccines don't work except to keep you out of the hospital because you can still get covid. So the message was, vaccinated people are good, unvaccinated people are bad. Another wonderfully divisive message from Dear Leader. As Bugs Bunny would say, "What a Maroon."

Was on the CDC web site a few minutes ago, looking for 2020 mortality data. Not available yet. Can't imagine why -- other than there was no year-to-year increase in the national mortality rate between 2019 and 2020.

Does anyone really believe Biden knew what he was saying - then and now? He just repeated what he was told. It's obvious to everyone with a few working brain cells this virus was a hoax to gain control of the planet. It's close to working. There are a few exceptions where leaders of countries doled out Invermectin and stopped the virus in it's tracks. And most of us in this country realize what a joke this whole thing has been, only it's killed hundreds of thousands of people, especially in New York nursing homes. I think it was a 'dry run' to see where the holes are. Gates has already foretold of a small pox epidemic. Lord I hope this never happens but there is a vaccine for it and it works. We'll see how that goes.

Not enough of us now KNOW that Democrats are building the Covid foundation for massive election fraud. They are perfecting what worked to oust Trump and will use it again to defeat a massive Republican surge in support of a Republican U.S. House and a U.S. Senate. Democrats destroyed the evidence in the last election steal and will make it work perfectly again.

What good is home testing? You run to your doctor’s office just to have him tell you to go home and isolate? No treatment offered. Just go to the ER if you think you’re gonna die so we can ventilate you.

Doing the same thing that DIDN'T WORK last time, again and again is proof of insanity. Blocking the effective early treatments of ivermectin, zinc and an antibiotic, or HCQ and zinc and antibiotic. These people running things are evil, not stupid....although Joe is both evil and stupid, and just reading the teleprompter, deciding nothing.

By the time the Biden crew purchases 500 million home tests from China and distributes them to all Americans across the USA, the so-called Omicron variant will be long gone, and the world will be waiting for the next variant to pop up. But you have not seen anything yet, watch for a number of “dangerous” variants to pop up across the USA during the run up to the coming election with the Democrats claiming that those new variants are away too contagious for people to vote in person, necessitating that only mail in universal voting being accepted before and up to weeks after Election Day.

These days the Democratic Party is like a sad addict whose life has fallen apart, with too much to resolve and repair all at once. Sure, the aching hip and broken relationships can be put off for another day, but the lost job, wrecked car, and empty bank account require immediate attention. President Biden and the Democrats are — simultaneously — working to stave off the failure of his economic agenda, control a once-again rampaging pandemic, mitigate the effects of the worst inflation since 1982, and rescue democracy from new laws that permit the GOP to nullify the next election, all before they likely lose both chambers

It was inevitable that the implosion of the Biden administration would lure former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton back onto the political stage. The voters showed her the door five years ago, yet she remains unable to grasp what they were trying to tell her. The latest manifestation of this learning disability began last month with an online lecture series in which Clinton holds forth on “The Power of Resilience.” The series culminates with a cringeworthy reading, complete with feigned attempt to hold back tears, of the speech she purportedly prepared in anticipation of victory in 2016.

It took many hours of deliberation, but a jury finally reached a verdict in the trial of the year — one that should have been the trial of the year ten years ago. Ghislaine Maxwell could face decades in prison for sex trafficking of minors after getting convicted of five out of six counts in her indictment. As NBC News reports, Jeffrey Epstein’s literal partner in crime might also face a new trial for two counts of perjury: British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of five federal sex trafficking charges after a jury concluded that she played a pivotal part in recruiting and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused

Agrowing body of academic research is chronicling the toll that pandemic lockdowns imposed on children, warning that the mental and social anguish the policies caused outweigh the health protections. The “overall impact of COVID-19 restrictions on the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents is likely to be severe,” an Oxford University professor warned in a recent analysis. A study published by Brown University said lockdowns, mandates and other restrictions are likely to create a generation of children with lower IQs and signs of social brain damage. Other studies have reported increased mental illnesses

Tuesday afternoon, President Biden demonstrated why he has been no more successful than former President Trump in controlling the coronavirus, despite the advantage of vaccines and therapeutics that were not available to the latter. Speaking at the White House, Biden outlined additions to his “COVID-19 Winter Plan” that illustrate his administration’s inability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions. He assured Americans that we are not going back to March 2020, but his strategy belies that claim. It similarly emphasizes increased testing, deploying medical personnel to overcrowded hospitals, as well as rushing gloves, masks, and ventilators to Michigan, Wisconsin, Vermont, and other states currently enduring case surges.

In high school, I visited a local hospital each Friday evening with other volunteers to play bingo, soccer, and other games with the mental health patients. In bingo, players would become confused and angry when the numbers on their cards were not called, and they'd sometimes demand that I go and hit the person calling them. Likewise, on the soccer field, patients would cry "foul!" when an opponent took the ball from them or scored a goal. They didn't understand what was going on, and they'd sometimes get cross about it. They could, of course, be forgiven for not understanding how the games were played.

The jury deliberating at Kim Potter's manslaughter trial in the shooting death of Daunte Wright asked a judge whether the officer's handgun could be freed from an evidence box so they could hold it. Their question Tuesday went to the heart of the former police officer's claim that she made a tragic mistake when she grabbed her gun, instead of her Taser, and shot Wright during a traffic stop April 11 in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center. Prosecutors had highlighted the differences in the look, feel and weight between Potter's gun and Taser, and had promised jurors they would be able to handle them during deliberations.

The surprise Sunday was not Sen. Joe Manchin’s announcement on "Fox News Sunday" that he won’t support President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better (BBB) bill, but the White House reaction to his declaration. It should not have been a shock. For months Manchin, D-W.Va., had expressed strong concerns about the bill’s spending, tax increases, expanded welfare benefits, and anti-domestic energy provisions. Recent events – notably last week’s latest inflation numbers and a Congressional Budget Office report the week before revealing that the BBB’s true 10-year cost was $3 trillion higher than what the measure’s supporters were flacking – only reinforced the West Virginian’s belief this gigantic buffet of "free"

A casual internet search on the term “save democracy” will retrieve countless articles and opinion pieces from major media outlets contending that free elections in the U.S. will soon be a thing of the past if Congress fails to pass “voting rights” legislation now. The following Washington Post headline is typically portentous: “Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin mull whether democracy is worth saving.” It is little more than an ad hominem attack on the only two Democrats who have resisted pressure to eliminate an arcane Senate rule in order to facilitate federal usurpation of state election prerogatives outlined in the Constitution.

With the turn of the calendar to 2022, Republicans are not only looking to the 2022 midterm elections but to the prospect of Donald Trump running in 2024. Trump is hugely popular with the party’s base and that popularity freezes the plans of other possible candidates for the 2024 nomination. Trump’s hold on that nomination is brittle, however, because of his age. On election day in 2024 Donald Trump will be 78 years old. That is one year older than Ronald Reagan’s age when he left office in 1988.Looking at the 2024 contest from the other side of the race, there is no reason to expect that Joe Biden
