In November, the Salvation Army officially went woke, declaring that, after soul searching, it was calling upon all White people associated with or donating to the Salvation Army to admit their racism and repent. After an angry response from the public, the Salvation Army itself repented...of its wokeness and it walked back its message. It was too late, though. Local Salvation Army chapters are seeing 50% drops in both volunteers and donations. Get Woke; Go Broke. (snip) Antifa won’t pony up money or labor and those normal people who usually do aren’t going to this year.

The United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack admitted Wednesday that it had doctored a text message cited by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) in his push Monday to hold former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in contempt. The Federalist’s Sean Davis first reported Wednesday morning that Schiff had manipulated the text message, cutting out the full context and adding punctuation into it, which he falsely implied was authored by a Republican lawmaker. As Breitbart News summarized:

Full disclosure: I despise Steven Spielberg movies and dislike both Romeo and Juliet and the 1961 West Side Story (WSS) movie. For that reason, I take particular delight in noting that Steven Spielberg's remake of WSS may have enthralled critics, but no one is rushing to see it. And no wonder, given that it's so darn woke that parts of it are in a language most Americans don't speak, but Spielberg refused to include subtitles. Let me quickly get through my biases. I hate Steven Spielberg movies because I find them overblown, predictable, and incredibly boring. I also dislike the way he presents children.

Lawmakers can't agree on how to save college students from years of stifling loan debt. It's an ideological tug-of-war that can't end soon enough for millions of Americans.
It's also a fight that's personal for many congressional staffers who work under those members, and who are still paying off the bills for their own educations — with some having paid over decades. An Insider analysis of congressional financial disclosures for 2020 and 2021 found that Congress itself was profoundly affected: About 360 high-ranking staffers owed money on student loans. Dozens of these staffers either work for House or Senate leadership,

A recent survey finds that 67% of vaccinated Americans believe the unvaccinated should pay a “COVID tax” to cover businesses’ pandemic safety expenses, but most business owners and the unvaccinated themselves don’t believe in such fees. Skynova, an invoicing software for small businesses, conducted the digital survey of 1,075 Americans. The firm’s project manager, Joe Mercurio, said the survey reflects a “consensus among people … that unvaccinated people should have to pay precautionary COVID-19 fees when visiting a business” to help cover the costs of personal protective equipment and other materials.(Snip)Higher prices for unvaccinated consumers would amount to “a new tax” to help business owners cover the $132

With Brandon being so terrible, there’s already starting to be some speculation over which Republican will defeat him in 2024.
While most Republicans prefer Trump, a substantial number would like to see DeSantis run. That has led to some worries over if the MAGA base will be deleteriously affected by primary in which the two champions of the MAGA agenda are pitted against each other, something Trump has indicated he doubts will happen.Still, however, if the two do decide to run and end up fighting, that could have some serious negative consequences and splinter the most enthusiastic members of the MAGA coalition.

Mayor-elect Eric Adams has tapped Nassau County Chief of Detectives Keechant Sewell as the first female police commissioner of the NYPD — a stunning, close-to-home pick from a field of seasoned top women cops across the country, The Post has learned.“I’m here to meet the moment,” Sewell told The Post in an exclusive interview Tuesday, just a couple of weeks before she becomes the city’s 45th top cop. At a time when the NYPD and the city its officers are sworn to protect are at a crossroads over a sharp rise in street violence and years of anti-cop reforms, her name will join the fabled ranks

Experts have pushed back against claims that this weekend’s tragic tornadoes in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee can be clearly linked to manmade climate change.
(snip) professor and climate economist Richard S.J. Tol of the University of Sussex explained why it is so difficult to connect weather events on the scale of a tornado to shifts in the Earth’s climate.
“Tornadoes are small, rarely more than 3 kilometers in diameter. The most advanced climate models, however, cannot see things that are smaller than 9 by 9 km. Climate models can therefore tell us very little about tornadoes,” (snip)
“Data are not great, but suggest that there is no upward or downward trend

President Joe Biden's nominee for the vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told the Senate "gender advisers" for combat troops are critical to the United States' success, a position some veterans say is nothing more than a left-wing initiative that distracts from the military's core duties. The revelation came during a Dec. 8 exchange with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D., N.H.), who asked how Adm. Christopher Grady intends to implement "women, peace, and security" legislation within the Joint Chiefs of Staff. "The role of a gender adviser is a way to attack a very significant issue, and if confirmed

More than 1,500 previously classified JFK assassination files have today been made public, including documents about killer Lee Harvey Oswald's contact with a KGB agent two months before the shooting. The files were released at noon on Wednesday by the National Archives, after months of delays by Biden who had promised to make them public but then stalled, claiming COVID backlogs was the reason. Not all of them are now public - some are still being held back for further review by the NSA until next December, a move that has been slammed by members of Kennedy's family.

President Joe Biden headlined the Democratic National Committee's glamorous holiday party on Tuesday night, giving a speech in which he touted his administration's agenda and railed against Republican objection to Democrats' voting rights legislation. He said the GOP was following Donald Trump 'into the abyss' by fueling baseless claims the 2020 election was rigged.'As Democrats, we stand for the people,' his VP Kamala Harris said in her own speech. 'And we will fight for the people.' Hours after speaking to a 400-person audience full of top Democrats and DNC donors the president struck a more somber tone in a statement memorializing the 800,000 Americans who have died of COVID-19 so far.

Come on, man. DHS is overworked and underpaid and besides, USA needs more radically Diverse residents who on average cost taxpayers some $133,000 over the course of their lifetimes. All provided they're relocated no closer than 120 miles of where our Grand Overlords live, because cultural enrichment is for us, not them.
