Experts have pushed back against claims that this weekend’s tragic tornadoes in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee can be clearly linked to manmade climate change.
(snip) professor and climate economist Richard S.J. Tol of the University of Sussex explained why it is so difficult to connect weather events on the scale of a tornado to shifts in the Earth’s climate.
“Tornadoes are small, rarely more than 3 kilometers in diameter. The most advanced climate models, however, cannot see things that are smaller than 9 by 9 km. Climate models can therefore tell us very little about tornadoes,” (snip)
“Data are not great, but suggest that there is no upward or downward trend

There is little a politician can do that is more evil than pushing a political agenda based on a natural disaster where people died!!!
Yet every Demon-Rat that I saw, from not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden on down did just that!!! They didn't even wait until the bodies of the children were cold.
Demon-Rats are pure evil!!!!! They prove it just a little more every day!!!

Anyone who can add 2+2 and get 4 is smart enough to know humans have no control of the climate. We don't control the sun, the rain, the wind - none of it. It is, however, a great money making machine for the filthy rich to get even richer.

We have had tornados for centuries. Sorry, no MMGW bullstory has anything to do with it. Same for hurricanes. Always been there, and always will be.
Go and lie to somebody else, about something else. This fantasy story is just bull hockey.

Of the 25 deadliest tornados in United States history, exactly 2 have occurred in the last 50 years. The first 23 were considered to be acts of God; the last two were obviously caused by SUVs.

The liberal answer to every problem is racism or climate change. The next disaster of their making will be the cause of racist climate change.

The next time you see a commercial with a depressed polar bear stranded on an ice berg, keep in mind polar bears are excellent swimmers and can swim in even the most frigid water for hours.
They are attempting to use this climate change balderdash to take away our freedom and destroy the middle class. It's all lies, all of it.

An indelible feature of the Lunatic Left (I know, redundant) is that they ALWAYS see the worst in everything, and everybody...except of course, themselves. They are all-knowing, all-wise, and the source of all good. So 'Climate Change' is one of their favorite gyms in which to work out.

Two things: Thank you #1 for the laugh. Nice to start the day with a chuckle. #8 you are spot on. Not only polar bears can stay in the cold water for hours but their population has significantly increased over the last 50 years and they are the nastiest most dangerous bear on this planet. A grizzly normally will not attack unless it is startled. A polar bear just looks at you as a snack.

The 'severity' of these storms is being measured in terms of human lives lost and property damage.
There are more people living in Kentucky today than 20 years ago. Those people live in more homes and those homes cost more money now than then.
Even if these storms were to decrease 25% in strength and number, 50 years from now they will kill more and damage more property based solely upon population density and inflation.
But the average person is an idiot that the media is taking full advantage of.

The experts are correct, this weekend’s tragic tornadoes are not linked scientifically to man-made climate change. The link is purely political. It is propaganda (AKA, lies) used to promote green new deal regulation and spending.

Nothing to see here. This latest low pressure formed over us in Colorado and blew trash cans around and generally made a mess around here, too. These will get pretty wound up sometimes, like this one. Lots of builtup energy needed to be spent. Having been raised in tornado alley in the midwest, these events happen. When we were kids in Illinois, I remember a good many days when the sky turned a dark green in the middle of a June day and all hell broke loose. And unfortunately, sometimes there is loss of life and much damage. It's still tough to see this, like in Kentucky.

Just to be clear -
Climate change is real.. tornados are a product of climate.
Climage change due to co2 and human activity is a hoax for a leftist power grab.
Climage change is going to be worse than anything the leftists can dream up.
There is not a damn thing we can do about it.

Meteorology 101 teaches that tornadoes occur when Cold air clashes with warm air. Areas that are warm or hot all the time do not have any tornadoes.

Simple question to ask any climate change moron: "If man can control the weather for bad things why can't we control it for good things?"
Why can't we make it rain in drought areas ... and make it stop raining in flood areas? Because we humans have no ... that is NO ... impact on weather or climate.
We need to live with it and stop complaining about it.

Don't waste your time arguing with the left. They know climate change is a hoax, nothing but politics to legitimize them taking over more of your life and business. The right has no imagination, have no plans to take over anything from the left, or compel them to do anything. Only the left does any punching in the face. The right takes it.

Watched an amazingly leftist free program on Neanderthals on PBS the other night (a short series) and they went in to how they managed in the harsh deep snow environment 700,000 years ago, with big swings within a 10 year period at times......and this was in Western Europe............the climate DOES change and also offer tornadoes and hurricanes.......just look at history.....people asking on the Thames river hundreds of years ago and without co2 from cars etc.

Relax. We all know that in addition to being an accomplished liar for the last 46 or more years, Joe R Biden lied about the tornados being caused by global warming. The Global Warming Hoax is standing in the wings until after the COVID-19 HOAX is ready to take the stage. Psst: Don't tell Dr. Demento that the earth had tornados, hurricanes, fires and floods L O N G before the combustion engine was even a dream of an idea. That might trigger an attack of some sort to his dwindling mental capacity. (Or more confusion for Madam Psaki.)

One does not have to be a climate expert to refute it.
Anyone living for five or more years in a state that enjoys snow in the winter and hot days in the summer knows that climate change is normal, and the normal change of seasons has applied for centuries, and will continue to remain the same.
Taxes and government-mandated laws favoring "clean" items will have no bearing on this.

There are so many factors contributing to climate that is difficult to determine what causes severe weather and if it is fact caused by manmade climate change. The earth's rotation has shifted along with the moon revolutions around the earth. The earth's rotation wobbles and it takes 25,000 years to complete a complete cycle. Each segment of the cycle lasts about 2,500 years. That would include Noah's Flood and the end of the last Little Ice Age in 1918. Sun spots also contribute to the shift in climate. Why people listen to Greta Thornburg about climate change is beyond me. She has no education in meteorology and knows only what she has been spoon fed by the climate change harpies.
