Get back to us when you are willing to arrest the wrongdoers, regardless of race, and put them in jail until they can pay a reasonable bail. Not too much to ask, but they won't even do that. They'd rather talk about it, and then say they addressed the problem.

Well, this is functioning as the Founders intended - the states doing what is best for them, and individual states can serve as an example as to what to do, or what to not do. I don't think this is going to end well, but it is their city. Good Luck.

I have friends who still live in Portland Oregon. Guess what folks, refunding the police won't work. IT'S TOO LATE! No one in their right mind would want to work in Portland, Minneapolis, San Francisco etc etc etc as a police officer. Those cities and most other major metropolitan cities across our great country are gone, they're done! Do not visit, vacation or conference there and if you live there, move while you still can!

This is just more govt induced gobbledygook designed to make people think something of importance is being done. Looks like the city is getting ready to hire 'social workers' at taxpayer expense to police the community when the end result will be more govt workers doing nothing at a low six-figure salary. This won't end well for anyone.
