By now, it’s clear to many that the left has used COVID-19 as a means to extend the federal government’s authoritarian control over Americans. But there are signs that the mask and vax culture that devastated the economy and created a nation of shut-ins and virus-phobes may be nearing an end. We certainly hope so. President Joe Biden has insisted that Americans must be vaccinated to protect against the spread of new variants of the virus. He even tried to mandate it for private businesses with more than 100 workers and for federal health care employees. But not so fast.

With the Omicron variant of the novel coronavirus now the latest fashion accessory among the mask-lockdown-vaccine mandate crowd, President Joe Biden unveiled on Thursday his latest plan to keep us healthy. But we’ve seen this before. While running against President Donald Trump, he promised to “shut down the virus.” He failed.
But that’s not his fault, says the Whites House press secretary. We have only ourselves to blame. We haven’t been the pliant subjects Biden was relying on us to be. We’ve disappointed our Dear Leader.

It seems roughly half of the country is suffering from mass delusions. Either that or there is a willful effort to ignore the truth and spread lies for political reasons. Neither scenario bodes well for the country.
Our American sensibilities are assaulted on a daily basis with claims that are widely accepted to be true and righteous even though they’re demonstrably false and malign. The falsehoods, exaggerations, and prevarications by omission are tearing at the fabric of the great American experiment in liberty. Which is exactly what they are designed to do.

A teenage boy has been charged with terrorism and murder after a school shooting in Michigan, United States.
Police allege Ethan Crumbley killed four classmates at Oxford High School with a 9mm semiautomatic handgun on Tuesday, The Sun reports.
Eight others, including a teacher, were injured in the shooting.
The students killed have been identified as Tate Myre, 16, Hana St. Juliana, 14, and Madisyn Baldwin, 17.
