So much for “Minnesota nice.” President Joe Biden received an ugly welcome in the Land of 10,000 Lakes Tuesday when his motorcade passed dozens of protesters who held vulgar signs dissing the commander-in-chief. Some of the demonstrators waved campaign flags for former President Donald Trump. One sign said “FJB” in an apparent abbreviation of “F–k Joe Biden.” “A less coded version just outright said ‘F–k you Biden’ with the U in the F word cleverly drawn to look like a middle finger,” reported White House pool correspondent Todd Gillman of the Dallas Morning News. “A real middle finger attached to a somewhat rough looking middle age man

The Salvation Army said Monday it has withdrawn a discussion guide on racism that was intended for its church members but that an advocacy group claimed was given to donors as a call to “repent” for being White. “If that document is getting in the way of the fulfillment of our mission, The Salvation Army is going to remove it,” Commissioner Kenneth Hodder, the group’s U.S. national commander, told The Washington Times. “Because nothing can be allowed to affect the fulfillment of that critical mission.”
The church group has been flooded by email complaints about repentance requests over its guide “Let’s Talk About Racism,” one critic said.

The chief executive of Moderna, a key COVID-19 vaccine maker, predicted a “material drop” in the shots’ efficacy against the omicron variant, spooking investors in early Tuesday trading amid new fears about the trajectory of the pandemic. CEO Stephane Bancel, speaking to The Financial Times, said there is “no world” in which the vaccines are as effective against the variant newly discovered in South Africa as the delta variant that is dominant now. “I think it’s going to be a material drop. I just don’t know how much because we need to wait for the data. But all the scientists I’ve talked to … are like, ‘This is not

A supermarket in Melbourne has been forced to apologise after taping a message to its register encouraging staff to racially profile African customers. Sunshine West IGA in the city's outer-west has come under fire after a customer shared the notice on social media, which calls for workers to use a 'special button' if an African person walks into the store. 'If an African customer comes to the bottle shop presses the button for assistant immediately!' the message reads. 'Minimum 2 staffs in front while we serve Africans.'(Snip)The man, who chose to remain anonymous, told the ABC the sign was 'just for safety reasons'

The owner of a Maryland seafood and ice processing company that employed at least 89 illegal immigrants was sentenced last week to a year of probation and a $15,000 fine, and had to promise to use E-Verify to screen new hires in the future. Philip J. “Jamie” Harrington III worked out the deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to a single charge of unlawful employment of illegal immigrants. His company, Captain Phip‘s Seafood, was sentenced to three years of probation and a fine of $240,000 for felony visa fraud. Gov. Charlie Baker expects a state-sanctioned COVID-19 vaccination passport program to be implemented in Massachusetts and several other states soon. During an appearance on GBH News' Boston Public Radio, Baker said a scannable quick response code, commonly known as a QR code, would show a person's vaccination status and be made available for others to scan and verify. "It's a universal standard and we've been working with a bunch of other states, there's probably 15 or 20 of them, to try to create a single QR code that can be used for all sorts of things where people may choose to require a vaccine," Baker said

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell says that the appearance of a new COVID-19 variant could slow the economy and hiring, while also raising uncertainty about inflation. The recent increase in delta cases and the emergence of the omicron variant 'pose downside risks to employment and economic activity and increased uncertainty for inflation,' Powell said Monday in prepared remarks to be delivered to the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday. The new variant could also worsen supply chain disruptions, he said. Powell's comments come after other Fed officials in recent weeks have said the central bank should consider winding down its ultra-low interest rate policies more quickly than it currently plans.

On the first day of Christmas, the Bidens gave to thee a gas pump without the highway robbery. This year’s holiday decorations, unveiled Monday, feature the traditional gingerbread White House in the State Dining Room, nestled amid a confectionery street scene of businesses that have helped keep America running through the COVID-19 pandemic. In a prominent spot next to the White House is a miniature gas station with two tiny pumps, no prices visible. Nearby is a grocery store, another reminder of record inflation. The sight prompted comments on social media at a time when Americans are paying 60% more for gas than they did a year ago.

Newly-released texts of CNN host Chris Cuomo reveal how he wrote his brother Andrew's sex pest rebuttals and used sources to investigate accusers, despite denying 'closely advising' his brother. Texts also revealed his friend arranged for Alec Baldwin to post a video in support of his brother Andrew and that he used his media connections to find out about accusers. The text exchanges—released by the New York Attorney General's office Monday—contradict Chris Cuomo's claims that he did not closely advise the disgraced former governor about a dozen sexual harassment allegations leveled against him.
In one message, Cuomo said 'his friend' asked actor Alec Baldwin

President Joe Biden on Monday urged Americans to get vaccinated or get their booster shots amid warnings about the spread of the Omicron variant–but insisted that the infectious new variant was not a cause for 'panic' and said no new restrictions were needed.
'We'll fight this variant with scientific and knowledgeable actions and speed, not chaos and confusion,' Biden said at the White House.
But even amid the pressing nature of the new variant, Biden misstated the name of the variant. 'It's called the Omnicron,' he said, inserting an extra 'n'–an error his coronavirus advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who was standing in the background, also committed.
Comments:
One of the clips is titled, "They soo ghetto here," proving the old adage that when around (large groups of males and females), never relax. No arrests, which gives US Secretary of Trans Pete Buttblaster leave to sidestep any accusations of racism if he banned these individuals from air travel, as he vowed to do for people who refuse to wear masks and other such high crimes.
